“Hello, Mr. Di Angelo. I am Lady Hecate and I need you to do something for me. I need you to infiltrate the Demon Slayer organization and help Tanjiro Kamado turn his sister back into a human.” Hecate explained to Nico quickly and without hesitation, like it was a normal task.
“Okay, first of all, I’m gonna need an explanation on what this Demon Killer thing is, second of all, why have I never heard of this place?” Nico asked in response.
“You have never heard of this ‘place’ because this place does not exist in this world; this place is from the past.” Hecate explained in a calm tone like this was a normal Tuesday. “I know this may be hard to adjust to and understand, but this is a personal quest and you are the only person that can know about this. Do you understand?” Hecate said that last part seriously and drilled her forest green eyes into Nico's cold dark brown ones, waiting for a positive response. “Yes, I do understand.” Nico replied. “Good, good,” Hecate replied.
“Anyway, in this world there are monsters called Demons, they cannot be beheaded and killed with normal weapons, only Nichirin Swords and the Godly ones like Celestial Bronze, Imperial Gold, and Stygian Iron, like yours. Although the peoples that slay these Demons do not know about the Godly ones and only know about the Nichirin metal. Your job is to become a Demon Slayer, now a Demon Slayer is a job not associated and not recognized by the Japanese Government. Anothe-". "I’m sorry, did you say the Japanese Government?” Nico interrupted. “Yes, this place is in Japan. Did I forget to mention that? Anyway, as I was saying, Demon Slayers work separate of the Government. Now, I assume you do not know Japanese, correct?” Hecate asked, “No, I don’t know how to speak it.” Nico replied. “Okay, so I will give you a potion that will allow you to speak and understand the Japanese language.”
“Now that we have the language stuff figured out I will tell you how to become an official Demon Slayer. To become an official Demon Slayer, you will have to find a mentor, now I already have one set up for you, His name is Sakonji Urokodaki. He teaches Water Breathing and used to be a Hashira, the highest rank a Demon Slayer can have. You will go there and learn Water Breathing, all while developing a new breathing style that will suit you more. I don’t care what you call it or what it’s based on, you just have to do it, it will help you on your quest. I promise. Another thing, this world is set in the Taishō era or 1912 to 1926 so some people might have outdated views. Do you understand Mr. Di Angelo?” Hecate asked. “Yes I do,” Nico answered.
“I will be at your cabin at 6:30 AM sharp to teleport you to Mr. Urokodaki’s house and training space. Pack a bag and get ready, do not tell anyone what this quest is about. You can just tell them that you have a quest and cannot tell them what it is. Goodbye.” Hecate said as she left Nico’s cabin.
