From Olga's POV

Work Text:

She hated all of this. She hated so many things

But there was one thing she couldn't stand: seeing the people she loved being noticed by someone else. Sure, it was quite selfish, but if people could see what she can see, they'd totally understand that

She was minding her own business, lying on the sofa as usual. She knew they couldn't stay there forever, but the little girl the homeowner had taken under his wing had grown particularly fond of her son, so she had the permission to stay more

And during her stay, she had given her affection to someone very special to her, and, surprise, she too received it in return. That man...

That man who now that slimy snake was holding close to her as if they were lifelong friends... Her Luka was affectionately holding Sofiya by the hip as she sat on one of the edges of the armchair and was clearly hitting on him

That is, Olga knew Luka was naive, but he wasn't stupid. The way that bitch looked at him, the way she whispered things in his ear, the totally random laughter... Like, come on

The final straw came when Olga opened her eyes a little one evening while pretending to sleep, of course it was impossible since that goose and Luka kept talking, and she saw Sofiya come closer to Luka's face and give him a kiss on the cheek. As soon as she saw Luka smile at her, she got pissed off

She quickly adjusted her position and looked them over. Sofiya noticed her and raised an eyebrow, surprised:

"Is something wrong, Ollie?" She asked

"Stay. Away. From. Him" She growled

Luka looked from Sofiya to Olga and back again. Sofiya raised her hands in the air and got out of the chair, placing her hands on her hips:

"What's the big deal? We just want to have some fun"

"Then go and have fun somewhere else, your effusions are annoying here..."

Sofiya shrugged and headed for the exit. She glanced back at Luka for a moment, and seeing that he wasn't moving, she nodded and left, closing the door behind her. Now only Olga and Luka remained. The man crossed his arms and the woman just rolled her eyes:

"I was there first" She stated

Suddenly, Luka chuckled, and this made Olga's face heat up: "You're just like a jealous cat"

Olga blushed and glared at him. Luka got up from his chair and came to sit next to her:

"Don't worry about her, we're just fooling around, nothing serious about it. But if it bothers you, I can ask her to stop"

Olga looked down: "She is younger and more beautiful than me" She sighed: "Are you sure you don't prefer her to me?"

Luka searched her gaze and put a hand on the back of her neck. When she finally looked up, he gave her a kiss. She gasped and he laughed as she covered her face:

"It may be so, so what? I'm old too. Why should I go looking for a young woman if I already have you?"

"You're being unfair..."

"Maybe. Do you prefer me to be fair?"

Olga shook her head and hugged him tightly. Luka returned the hug, bringing her to his lap. At that moment, Olga wanted more than anything to be held like this for hours; she wanted the cataclysm to end, so she could take him home and be held like this until the end of her life

It was a silly wish, but she needed it to know she wouldn't be replaced
