It was super hot , like Arizona hot. So how do we solve that problem? The pool! So yes. Everyone was doing their own thing , Kanna was sitting by the pool, Nao was sketching somewhere in the shade , who knows what Gin was up to. The point is everyone was doing something. EXCEPT , Shin.
Who had been standing at the pool gate since everyone arrived. This peaked Joe's interest. Which is a bad , bad thing. When things catch Joe's attention it's quite annoying for those around him , because he'll talk about it till he gets a response.
“Hey Sara! Nao!“ said Joe, waving the two of them to come to him. Nao fixed her fairly adorable beach hat and trotted over. Sara walked normally. “Yeah? What's up Joe?” Nao asked. “See Shin over there? He hasn't touched the water since he got here.. doesn't that strike you as odd? Not even a littleeee bit?” Answered Joe. “Well sorta.. It's pretty hot out.. I'm a bit surprised he isn't under an umbrella or something..” Said Sara. “I don't really see him in deep waters.. or like.. pools and beaches in general!” Added Nao. “See! He doesn't go in water!!” Said Joe. “He clearly doesn't go in the sun either..” Mumbled Sara. “I wanna see if I can get him in the water somehow..” Nao said.
“I'll put money on it!” Joe added quite quickly “How much?” Asked Sara. “Like 5 bucks.” Said Joe. Joe must've been fairly confident he'd win , as he did not have 5 dollars anywhere in his vicinity or his bank account. He spent it all on useless junk he'll quit using in like four days.
"Alright whats your plan smart guy? How are you gonna get Shin into this pool?" Asked Sara jokingly "Heh! Just you wait.. 5 minutes..I'll..come..up..with..something!" Said Joe who looked awkwardly to the side. He did NOT think of anything. After lots of thinking the 3 agreed to 3 minutes of "let me think" time. Nao came up with her first plan. "Also, You are PROHIBITED from using other people to bait him." Said Joe. Nao had to come up with something else. "OK who's goin first?" "3..2..1 NOT IT!" said Joe and Sara "Awahh??!!" Exclaimed Nao. "You gotta find a way to get Shin in the pool dude!" Joe told Nao.
"Allllright..." Mumbled Nao. Nao took a deep breath like this was crazy serious (which its not) , Fixed her hat and walked over to Shin "Hey Shin.. could you maybee just get in the water.. for a second.." Asked Nao whos confident stance from 3 seconds ago had vanished.
"Huuh?.." Shin slowly turnt around. He looked a bit shocked "Is there a reason you'd like me in the pool??" Asked Shin , you could actually see him sweat! "Uhhmm.. BYE! IM SUPER SORRY.." said Nao before scurrying off. "I'm gonna assume he said no." Said Sara. "Sara you're next!" Said Joe.
"What." Replied Sara.
"You're..next?..to—" "No I KNOW. but like who let YOU make that decision? Who said other than you "Yeah Sara should go next!" WHO Joe. Cause this certainly can't be a one man decision." Interrupted Sara. "What would happen if I said this was a one man decision." Asked Joe awkwardly , "I'd probably push you into the pool instead of Shin." Replied Sara. "So got anything you wanna say?" Asked Sara. "Not.. anymore.." Said Joe in a very VERY high pitched tone of voice
"Well anyway, I'll go. Besides I've got a GREAT idea!" Said Sara. She walked up to Shin and tapped him on the shoulder "AWH—a..a.. oh.. miss sara!..What is it?" Asked Shin
"Hey Shin could you follow me really quick?" Asked Sara to which Shin replied "A—.. of course!" , Sara guided him up to the pool ledge , and lightly tapped him when he was at the 5 feet mark , causing him to somehow fall over and into the water "DARN IT." Said Joe "WHY DIDN'T I DO THAT??!!" he continued in a joking rage "I- I dont know Joe.. I don't know..." Said Nao while she patted him on the back. "D-DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DONT OWE SARA ANYTHING NOW TOO!!" Said Joe. "H-Hey!! Since when was that a rule!" Asked Nao. "Uhm.. since right now!" Said Joe.
