Lip Piercings & Bad Attitudes

Summary:

“Hello” Anxin snaps. If you guys aren’t ordering, can you move or go sit down and continue that?” Anxin says, gesturing with his hands. You are, in fact, in a public civilization. Hate to burst your bubble.

What happens when the it-couple of PDA, Leo and Sangwon, accidentally run into the queen (king) bee, Zhou Anxin — a new student whose looks could kill anyone in a heartbeat?

Work Text:

Leo and Sangwon are the most well-known couple at college due to having their own band that performs at campus events.

With that being said, they’re also the couple that pisses everyone off the most.

Leo, Sangwon, you guys really need to stop kissing in public establishments. One day, you’re gonna get caught by someone who’s not as nice as everyone else.”

“Oh, come on,” Sangwon whines from Leo’s lap. “Everyone doesn’t even care,” Sangwon says while playing with his lip piercing.

“Yeah, hyung, maybe because everyone’s scared of you and Leo hyung. Look at what you guys wear on a daily basis — I’d be scared too,” Sanghyeon complains.

“Hey, Sanghyeon-ah, you’re gonna get it, you little shit,” Leo jokes.

“But seriously, it’s not that serious, guys. It’s not our problem,” Leo says before kissing Sangwon’s cheek.

“Alright, guys, don’t say we didn’t warn you,” Junseo chuckles.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”

“Gosh, can Hao-ge answer his fucking phone?” Anxin spams Hao for what feels like the 50th time. “This is an emergency! I’m going to my new university, Hao, you need to help me!”

“God, Zhou Anxin, what do you want?” Hao sighs.

“Gosh, no need to be a bitch, ge. I just needed some advice.”

“About what, Zhou Anxin? You know this is around the time I have dance practice. You take advantage of me, I swear,” Arno sighs.

“Arno, stop complaining. You and Xinlong are my only friends here in Korea, you know this,” Anxin complains, rolling his eyes.

Anxin shows his outfit options, and Hao literally just puts his hand on his head, shaking it like a disappointed dad.

“Anxin, neither of those cover anything. You need to pick something else, like for real.”

Anxin laughs. “Hao, do you really think I would wear either of these on the first day of school? Do you take me for some kind of slut? Gosh.”

“This is my real outfit.”

Anxin pulls out his “I Heart Me” white shirt with lace sleeves underneath the baby tee, paired with low-rise jeans and his Chrome Hearts necklace.

“Gosh, Anxin, what am I gonna do with you? That looks great, though. Call me and let me know all about how your first day goes.”

“I’m gonna go to the café first since I found out there’s one on campus, so I’m going there before my first lecture. I’ll talk to you later, Hao-ge.”

“Okay, bye. Don’t be too rude on your first day now, Anxin-ah.”

“Yeah, yeah, bye,” Anxin chuckles, rolling his eyes.

As Anxin was trying to order, Sangwon and Leo were too busy kissing, with Leo gripping Sangwon’s hips. Anxin was already getting annoyed because honestly, how much PDA can one person take?

“Hello?” Anxin snaps. “If you guys aren’t ordering, can you move or go sit down and continue that?” he says, gesturing with his hands. “You are, in fact, in a public civilization. Hate to burst your bubble,” he says, rolling his eyes.

Sangwon and Leo finally realize they’re in a public setting. Both of them look up, surprised, because usually people just walk around them — but Anxin actually said something.

“God, who hurt you, pretty?” Sangwon says with a smirk.

Leo was smirking too, looking Anxin up and down while checking him out.

Anxin starts getting flustered from the stares he’s receiving. He wasn’t really expecting that reaction, especially because the way he said it had been really bitchy.

Anxin crosses his arms. “Okay, so are you gonna move now? I have places to be,” he says with a sigh.

Leo finally looks directly at Anxin. “Yeah, we’ll move, princess. Come on, baby,” Leo says before grabbing Sangwon’s hand and leading him out of the café.

“What the fuck was that?”

Anxin has never had that kind of reaction before.

Meanwhile, Sangwon and Leo already knew this wouldn’t be the last time they saw Zhou Anxin.

Anxin finally got his drink. I can’t let this ruin my first day. Gosh, that was weird.

“Baby,” Sangwon says to Leo, wrapping his arms around him while sitting in his lap during class together. “You know we should actually do our work instead of being clingy like this,” Sangwon sighs, though there’s no real bite behind his words.

Leo laughs. “Baby, it’s okay. No one cares,” he says before kissing Sangwon’s neck.

“Okay everyone, we have a new student joining our class today. Please introduce yourself.”

“Hello, my name’s Zhou Anxin. I’m from China, and yeah, I hope we all get to know each other nicely,” he says with his classic smile before realizing he has to sit across from the couple.

Why the fuck is my luck so bad? Gosh, I knew I should’ve been nicer to people. Oh my god, he swears to himself before taking his seat.

He felt the couple staring at him the entire time, and eventually he got so sick of it that he shot them a glare, mouthing for them to stop being weird. Instead of taking it as an insult, the couple saw it as a reason to keep pushing.

Leo and Sangwon smirked at Anxin, making him turn away with red cheeks. Gosh, why are they so attractive? It’s not fair, Anxin complains to himself.

The second class ended, he bolted out of the room.

Thank god I don’t have to see them for the rest of the day.

He spoke too soon.

Soon, he arrives at his next class and meets Sanghyeon. They spend most of the class talking before Sanghyeon suddenly says, “I know this is pretty quick, but do you want to come see my band, hyung?”

He sounded genuinely excited.

It’s our start of the year bash. It’s at a bar, there’s gonna be dancing, fun— you’ll have a good time, I promise.”

Okay, I’ll come, puppy. Only because you’re my friend and I need a good drink,” Anxin laughs.

“What’s the dress code anyway?” Anxin asks.

“Wear anything dark and just have fun. See you later tonight,” Sanghyeon says.

“See you,” Anxin replies before heading back to the dorm.

Anxin quickly calls Xinlong.

“Hey Long, do you want to come with me to this bash thing Sanghyeon invited me to? It’s tonight, at a bar, and we’re gonna have a lot of fun, I promise,” Anxin says, trying to bribe him into coming.

“Okay fine, Anxin. I’ll be there. See you later,” Xinlong replies.

“Okay, see you, Longie,” Anxin says before hanging up.

Okay, time for me to figure out what to wear.

Anxin decides to go for a completely different vibe than usual.

He chooses low-rise black flare jeans, a black cropped tank hanging just above his belly piercing, a black jacket with fur around the hood, and his Chrome Hearts necklace.

“I think I’m ready to go,” he says before finally leaving.

“Hyung, I’m so excited. This is our first day back since summer,” Sangwon says before placing a kiss on Leo’s lips.

“I love you, Wonnie. Let’s do our best tonight, baby,” Leo says against his lips.

“I love you too, hyung. Let’s kill it,” Sangwon smiles.

“Thank you, Longie, for coming. Also, check it out— do you like it?” Anxin asks, pointing at his belly piercing.

Gosh, Anxin-ah, you actually look really good. Did it hurt? Xinlong asks, reaching out curiously.

“Obviously it hurt, but I got it because I was really nervous about moving here, not gonna lie. But let’s get a drink and enjoy our night together,” Anxin says before handing Xinlong a drink.

“Hello ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for coming to our annual bash of the year! We hope you enjoy yourselves. Give it up for ALD1!”

Everyone in the crowd started clapping, including Xinlong.

But Anxin felt his stomach drop.

Why the fuck was that couple here? Let alone in a band looking that good?

And somehow, it felt even worse because Anxin swore the couple were staring directly at him, like he had a target painted on his back.

Obviously, Anxin ended up more tipsy than he meant to. Before he knew it, he was face-to-face with the two people he least expected to see tonight.

A pair of hands settled carefully on his waist, making him turn around quickly. Sangwon and Leo stood there, both wearing amused smirks.

“Who are you two again?” Anxin slurred dramatically, squinting at them. “Why are you both so unfairly attractive?”

Leo laughed immediately while Sangwon tried — and failed — to hide his grin.

“Wow,” Sangwon said. “The attitude disappears after a few drinks?”

“Excuse you,” Anxin scoffed. “I always have attitude.”

“True,” Leo agreed. “But now you’re complimenting us instead of glaring.”

Anxin pointed at him accusingly. “Don’t get used to it.”

“Too late,” Leo replied smoothly.

Sangwon gently guided Anxin backward until he was leaning against the wall beside them.

“Ow,” Anxin whined. “Careful you bitch . I’m delicate.”

“You?” Sangwon laughed. “You insult people for fun I don’t think your that delicate princess.”

“And I look pretty while doing it,” Anxin shot back proudly.

Leo actually clapped once. “See? Confidence. We love to see it.”

Anxin rolled his eyes, though he couldn’t stop smiling. “You two are annoying.”

“But you like us,” Sangwon teased.

Anxin opened his mouth to deny it before pausing dramatically. “Unfortunately.”

Leo stepped closer, close enough for Anxin to catch the faint scent of his cologne.

“Only unfortunately?” Leo asked softly.

Anxin swallowed before looking away for a second. “Maybe a little more than unfortunately.”

Sangwon laughed under his breath while Leo looked entirely too pleased with himself.

“Oh, he’s flirting now,” Sangwon said.

“No, I’m not,” Anxin argued immediately.

“You called us attractive like three times.”

“And?” Anxin tilted his head innocently. “Am I wrong I’ll gladly call you both sexy”

The way both of them went quiet for a second made Anxin grin proudly.

“See?” he said smugly. “I win.”

“You’re impossible,” Sangwon muttered affectionately.

“And yet you’re both still standing here.”

Leo reached up, brushing his fingers lightly against Anxin’s cheek. “Maybe because you’re hard to walk away from.”

That caught Anxin off guard.

For once, he didn’t have some quick comeback ready.

Sangwon noticed immediately and smirked. “Oh, he’s speechless.”

“Shut up,” Anxin mumbled, cheeks warm.

“That’s kind of cute,” Leo teased softly.

Anxin groaned dramatically before hiding his face against Sangwon’s shoulder. “You two are evil.”

Sangwon laughed, wrapping an arm around his waist to steady him. “You started this.”

“No, your faces started this,” Anxin argued. “How am I supposed to act normal around either of you?”

Leo nearly choked laughing while Sangwon looked way too entertained.

“You hear that?” Sangwon said proudly to Leo. “We make him nervous.”

“I am not nervous,” Anxin protested immediately.

“Then look at us.”

Anxin did — and immediately regretted it.

Both of them were staring at him with matching amused smiles, standing far too close for his already tipsy brain to handle properly.

“…Okay, maybe a little nervous,” he admitted quietly.

Leo smiled warmly before pressing a quick kiss to Anxin’s forehead.

“There’s our honest princess.”

Anxin blinked at him before dramatically placing a hand over his chest. “Wow. Buy me dinner first.”

“We can do that,” Sangwon replied easily.

“Dangerous answer,” Anxin warned.

“Dangerous question,” Leo countered.

Anxin laughed again, softer this time, before reaching out and loosely grabbing both of their hands.

“You two are really unfair,” he mumbled.

“How?” Sangwon asked.

“You’re both sweet and pretty. That’s literally a deadly combination.”

Leo smiled. “And you’re adorable when you’re honest.”

“I’m leaving,” Anxin declared.

Neither of them let go of his hands.

“Liar,” Sangwon said immediately.

Anxin tried to fight the smile pulling at his lips and failed completely.

The next day, Anxin woke up instantly regretting the decisions he made the night before. The headache pounding in his skull was already bad enough, but realizing he was in bed with Sangwon and Leo made everything worse.

“You idiot…” he whispered to himself.

The two boys were still asleep, so Anxin took the opportunity to quietly slip out of bed, gather his clothes, and rush back to his dorm before either of them woke up. His body ached, and the marks scattered across his skin were enough to remind him that last night had definitely happened.

“Fuck I’m so dumb ,” Anxin muttered as he stared at himself in the mirror.

His neck was covered in marks, and bruises decorated his waist and arms and hand prints on his ass.“These idiots really went overboard…” he grumbled, gently touching one of the bruises before sighing. “I’m such an idiot.”

After a moment, he shook his head firmly.

“It’s fine,” Anxin told himself. “I’ll just avoid them and pretend none of this ever happened.”

Unfortunately for him, Sangwon and Leo clearly had other plans.

During lectures, Anxin could practically feel their eyes following him around the room. By the time class ended, he was already exhausted from pretending not to notice them. All he wanted was coffee and peace, but even that didn’t last long.

Over the next few days, the couple refused to leave him alone. They constantly found excuses to get his attention, teasing him whenever they had the chance.

One afternoon, after class, Anxin walked outside only to find Sangwon and Leo waiting for him.

“Are you guys serious right now?” Anxin whisper-yelled. “What do you even want?”

Leo smirked. “We came to check on our favorite problem.”

“You disappeared the next morning,” he continued with a fake pout. “That hurt our feelings, princess.”

“Yeah,” Sangwon added, stepping closer. “You were pretty entertaining when you were drunk and you loved our touches then so what changed .”

Before Anxin could think, the words came spilling out.

“Nope. Absolutely not,” he said quickly. “That was a one-time thing. I don’t even know why I did it, but it can’t happen again. You two are literally dating each other!”

Without waiting for a response, Anxin turned and walked away.

He thought that would finally end things.

It didn’t.

Whenever Anxin went to the café, his order would already be waiting for him. Somehow, Sangwon and Leo always managed to leave little notes on the cups.

Thinking about you today.
You’re cute when you’re annoyed.
Stop pretending you don’t miss us.
We need you princess.

Every single message made Anxin more frustrated than the last.

Eventually, he’d had enough.

After class one day, when it was just the three of them left in the room, Anxin marched over to their table and narrowed his eyes.

“Can one of you explain why you keep buying me drinks and leaving notes on them?” he snapped. “We already talked about this.”

“And why are you both so interested in me anyway? You’re dating each other.”

Sangwon leaned back against Leo with a grin. “Because you’re pretty,” he said simply. “And your attitude is cute.”

Leo nodded in agreement, his hands resting casually on Sangwon’s waist. “You act tough, but honestly? We think it’s adorable.”

Anxin blinked, completely caught off guard by their honesty.

“You two are so weird,” he muttered before trying to leave.

But Sangwon caught his wrist before he could get far.

“Why do you keep pretending you don’t like us?” he asked softly.

For a second, Anxin froze.

And honestly, that terrified him more than anything.

After a few seconds of silence, Anxin finally pulled his wrist away, his heart beating way too fast for his liking.

“You’re both insane,” he muttered, avoiding their eyes.

Sangwon only laughed softly before stepping closer again. “Then why are you blushing so hard, princess?”

“I am not blushing.”

“You are,” Leo said with a grin. “It’s cute.”

Anxin opened his mouth to argue, but the words died in his throat when Leo gently tilted his chin upward. His teasing expression softened into something more sincere.

“You know,” Leo said quietly, “we’re not messing with you, baby.”

Anxin blinked in surprise. “What?”

“We like you,” Sangwon admitted, his voice calmer than usual. “A lot.”

Before Anxin could respond, Sangwon leaned forward and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek then he pressed harder into Anxins waist placing kisses on his neck. It was soft and brief, but it still made Anxin freeze completely.

“Sangwon!” Anxin hissed, immediately covering his face. “We’re literally still in the lecture hall!”

Leo chuckled at his reaction before leaning down and pressing a gentle kiss to Anxin’s mouth.

“Princess is shy now?” Leo teased softly.

Anxin stared at both of them in disbelief.

“You guys are unbelievable,” he muttered, though there wasn’t much anger left in his voice anymore.

Sangwon smiled before lightly brushing his fingers against Anxin’s hand. “Then stop running from us, baby.”

For once, Anxin didn’t pull away.

Leo and Sangwon exchanged a glance before Leo spoke again.

“We meant what we said earlier,” he told him. “We don’t want this to just be some random mistake.”

“We want you with us for real,” Sangwon added.

Anxin’s eyes widened. “Wait… are you actually asking me out right now?”

“Pretty much,” Leo answered with a laugh.

Sangwon stepped even closer, smiling warmly this time instead of teasing. “So, princess… will you be our boyfriend?”

Anxin felt like his brain completely shut down.

These two had spent days driving him insane, teasing him nonstop, buying him drinks, leaving notes everywhere, and somehow making his life ten times more complicated.

And the worst part?

He really liked them too.

Anxin looked between the two boys before sighing dramatically.

“You both are seriously the biggest headaches I’ve ever met.”

Leo grinned immediately. “That’s not a no, baby.”

“…Fine,” Anxin mumbled. “But if this becomes embarrassing, I’m blaming both of you.”

Sangwon instantly pulled him into a hug while Leo laughed beside them.

“So that means yes?” Sangwon asked excitedly.

“Anxin rolled his eyes, though he couldn’t stop smiling anymore yes he says before placing kisses on both of their cheeks”.
