You'll Never Get to Heaven if You're Scared of Getting High

Summary:

Videl and Gohan have been circling each other for months but neither is willing to make a move. Maybe a game of spin the bottle will help them along

Work Text:

To say that Videl was not a party person would be a severe understatement. At best, she was tolerant of joining Erasa in letting loose and shaking it on the dance floor with their peers. It wasn’t totally her fault. Ever since Mr. Satan had become the world champ and beat Cell, pretty much everyone would crowd around her until she yelled at them to back off.

But that was then and this was their senior year and possibly one of the last chances Erasa had to get Videl to just have fun and not scowl at every person she met. The host, Sched, also had a huge house, so if Videl needed a bit of space to breathe, she’d have it.

“We’re staying for thirty minutes and then I have the right to leave,” Videl said, her arms crossed and her perma-glare already directed at a few guys making eyes at her.

“We’re staying for thirty minutes or until we see Gohan.” Erasa smiled as she thought of their handsome new classmate. He’d arrived a few months ago and captured the hearts of almost everyone who met him, though getting his attention was proving difficult. She’d never struggled to get someone to even look at her before he’d come along and while part of her still hoped that he would open his eyes and pick up on all her signals, that seemed more and more unlikely by the day.

And her best friend was the reason for that.

Videl had an unhealthy obsession with Gohan. Ever since he’d shown up, she’d been telling Erasa, Marker, and Sharpner that he was hiding something and she was going to figure it out. At first, it’d been funny, but it’d since turned into something Erasa had never expected: Videl was thirsty for Gohan.

Like, so thirsty that she couldn’t look away when the guy so much as breathed. On more than one occasion, she’d glared at the people who flirted with him and then get even angrier when Gohan asked why Videl looked so upset. She claimed she was just annoyed that nobody else could see that he was a lying liar who lies, but even she was forced to admit that Gohan was honest to a fault about most things. And that just made it all so much worse for poor Gohan.

And funnier for Erasa.

Her BFF had it so bad.

So did Gohan. Despite all the frustration Videl threw at him, he kept coming back. Most guys either gave up trying to get close to her after the third or fourth time or they were like Sharpner and asked her out every week. But Gohan would get this weirdly intense look on his face when Videl was mad at him, like he couldn’t decide if he wanted to run away or shove her against the nearest hard surface and have his way with her.

Maybe there was still an itty-bitty chance for Erasa to get Gohan to view her in a romantic light, but she would be thrilled if he and Videl got together instead. Anything to stop the tension crackling between them in class where Erasa was caught in the middle as they both refused to say their feelings out loud.

“Gohan’s coming?” Videl asked. “Doesn’t his mom have super strict rules about him staying at home on weekends?”

“She does, but apparently she agreed to let him go to this one since he got all those early acceptance letters.” It really wasn’t a surprise that schools were fighting over their genius classmate; several universities had even sent someone to actually come to OSH to talk to him had been. Erasa thought that only happened for sports stars, but Gohan had top-notch schools banging down his door and practically begging him to attend.

“Think if I push him into a closet, he’ll finally tell me what he’s hiding?”

If Videl pushed him into a closet, something was going to happen alright, though Erasa was sure it would be more of the hot-sweaty-hormone-driven kind than the tell-me-everything-about-you kind.

Sched came over to them and winked. He was on the wrestling team with Sharpner and looked as good as he always did in his team jacket. Last year, Sched had been the most attractive boy in their grade, but Gohan’s pretty boy looks had bumped him down to a very respectable second place. “We’re going to be playing spin the bottle upstairs if you two want to join.”

“Seriously? What is this, junior high?” Videl rolled her eyes.

“A couple of the girls begged me to set it up because of Gohan. Guess he’s never played.”

“Gohan’s going to play?” That feral gleam that only popped up when Gohan was mentioned appeared in Videl’s eyes. “He’s probably never even been kissed before.”

“Neither have you,” Erasa muttered.

“Erasa!”

It was true. Videl had played spin the bottle twice and refused to kiss anyone both times. At most, she’d let them kiss her cheek or shake her hand before she’d wander off and refuse to rejoin the game. She also wasn’t allowed to date (and never really seemed all that mad about that fact until a certain transfer student had caught her eye) and claimed all the people who offered to hook-up with her at school weren’t her type. Trust did not come easily to Videl. She struggled to believe that anyone new in her life actually gave a damn about her and wouldn’t go to the paparazzi over every little thing and it was seriously hurting her love life.

“The girls wanted to do seven minutes in heaven,” Sched said, “but since their target is Gohan, I convinced them that this was a better idea. Pushing him into a dark closest or bedroom with someone would probably freak him out. Guy’s kind of skittish sometimes. So, you in?”

“Fine.” Videl stomped up the stairs, her fists clenched and a distinct aura of fury all around her. Erasa felt bad for anyone who tried to kiss either her or Gohan during the game.

“She knows she has a crush on him, right?” Sched asked.

“I keep telling her and she says she doesn’t.”

“Well, I still need to convince the guy to even join, but I’ll certainly do my best. Whole school knows someone needs to help her unwind and he’s the only candidate she hasn’t rejected. See you in a bit.”

Erasa waved him off and followed Videl to the second floor, where a small crowd was gathered, including Sharpner. A few of the girls that flirted with Gohan relentlessly were waiting with lip products in hand, eyes glued to the stairs and ignoring the daggers Videl sent their way.

“Don’t do anything that will land you in jail,” Erassa said as she walked to Videl’s side.

“Ha ha.”

Sharpner came over, blocking the girls from Videl and Erasa’s view. “Are you actually going to play, Videl, or are you going to do what you always do?”

“There’s no rule saying I can’t reject a kiss, Sharpner.”

“There’s not, but it feels like a waste of time for you to even show up if you’re not really going to play.” He smirked. “But if you wanted someone to kiss you, I could do it now.”

“Not interested.”

He pouted. “You could at least pretend to think it over.”

“Don’t want to.”

Sharpner looked at Erasa then back at Videl. “You hoping to kiss Brains?”

“Shut up.”

“What do you even see in him? No, don’t roll your eyes. I’m asking you seriously. What is it about that oblivious as hell country bumpkin who does everything his mother tells him to do that has you this pissed off that he even exists?”

Erasa grinned. “She just wants to jump his bones and have his babies.”

Videl grit her teeth. “When did I say any of that?”

“You didn’t have to,” Sharpner said as he leaned against the wall and stared down at Videl in a move that Erasa knew was meant to accentuate his arms. It’d worked a few times on other girls, but it’d never worked on Videl. “The only time you’ve ever been like this was after the Cell Games broadcast and you were obsessed with the Delivery Boy for months.”

“Ooh, I remember that! And can’t say I blame her—he was really cute.”

Mr. Satan might have immediately started calling the other people at the Cell Games cowards and tricksters, but the Delivery Boy had been the hottest topic for close to a year with almost everyone at their school either in love with him or wanting to be him. He’d looked so cool and surprisingly built for someone so young. Eventually he’d drifted out of the gossip pool when no one could find his real name or address, but the thirst for him was still alive and well if the occasional social media post or listicle featuring him meant anything.

“At least the Delivery Boy made sense.” Sharpner leaned in so close that Erasa was worried Videl was going to punch him in the nose. “Is Gohan being a nerd a turn on or something? You get excited at the idea of him spouting the periodic table? Is that it?”

“I don’t know, you asshole!” Videl socked Sharpner’s arm hard enough to make him wince. “I don’t fucking know why I can’t get him out of my head, but he’s stuck in there and it’s driving me nuts. He’s just so UGHHH.”

“Hot? Smart? Sweet? Perfect?” Erasa put a hand on Videl’s shoulder. “Just accept that you want him and maybe you two can stop circling each other like the world’s saddest tea cup ride.”

“I’m with Erasa on this one. I’d rather you pick me than Brains, Vi, but if you need to make-out with him to get his ass out of your system, I say go for it.”

Erasa wasn’t convinced that Gohan would ever leave Videl’s system, but if telling himself that meant that Sharpner would push Videl to actually give in to whatever she was felling, so be it. “Or become his girlfriend.”

Videl looked ready to start pummeling someone. “Maybe I don’t want a stupid boyfriend.”

“Then make him your arm candy or your sugar baby or whatever you want to call it. I’m sure he’d be fine with it as long as you two are exclusive.”

Videl opened her mouth to retort when a few gasps of ‘Gohan!’ came from the other side of the room. The subject of their conversation came up the last step with Sched’s hand on his shoulder and a very confused look on his face as he was surrounded by people trying to get his attention.

Erasa turned back to Videl, who struggled to look away from the staircase as Gohan’s laugh reverberated through the space.  “Vi, I totally get that you’re scared of being hurt, but we’re talking about Gohan. Name someone, anyone, who is less likely to betray you than him.”

“And what if it’s all an act and he’s really a super villain using me to get to my dad?” Videl asked.

“Then I’ll personally apologize and help you beat him up.”

“Let’s get this game going. First things first,” Sched pointed to a door on the right side of the room, “there is a bedroom available if anyone needs some private time during the game. The dresser is already full of condoms, so use protection and shit. Second, we all know the Videl Rule.”

Videl blushed as she looked away in annoyance.

“But just in case: no pressuring someone into a kiss. If they don’t want to do it, that’s it. No chanting, no pushing, no nothing or else you’re out of here and banned from my house. Cool?”

Everyone nodded.

“Great. Let’s play.”

“What kind of game is this?” Gohan asked as a member of the cheer squad pulled him down to sit next to her in the circle.

“It’s a kissing game,” Videl said as she sat between Erasa and Sharpner. From their vantage point in the circle, if Gohan never moved, they would be able to see pretty much everything if someone swapped spit with him. Either that would get Videl’s butt in gear or it would backfire on them all spectacularly.

“It’s a WHAT?!”

Oh. Oh, dear. The wide-eyed look and open mouth heavily implied that Gohan really had no idea what happened at high school parties. He’d mentioned his mom was a bit old-fashioned and his dad grew up pretty isolated, but this was next level.

“Relax, Brains,” Sharpner said. “You don’t gotta do anything with anyone you don’t wanna.”

“Is this a normal thing you guys do in the city?”

“You seriously must have spent your whole life under a fucking rock if you’re asking that. If you want the teen experience, you’re going to play.”

Sched set down an empty bottle of Satan Soda and looked around the circle. “Who’s going first?”

The game went for seven rounds before landing on Sharpner who was paired with one of the girls who had been making goo-goo eyes at Gohan for weeks. She offered her cheek up before sitting back and looking at Gohan with a wistful look.

Sharpner looked put out for a moment. “Explain to me what’s so great about Brains that he’s pulling baddies left and right without even trying,” he hissed.

“Find another guy who is that smart, that hot, that nice and polite,” Erasa leaned around Videl to whisper in his ear, “and doesn’t seem to realize that he is just that awesome. Also, despite how scared he is of his mom, have you ever heard him say a bad word about her or any woman?”

“No,” Sharpner huffed.

“There you go.”

A few more rounds and Erasa was making out with an underclassman before it was her turn to spin. Her kissing partner was cute enough and had decent technique. Maybe she’d get his number by the end of the night.

As the bottle spun, she glanced around the circle to see if there was anyone she needed to enact the Videl Rule for. Sched and Sharpner were her second-tier choices and she wouldn’t mind kissing the guy she just made-out with a second time. A few of the girls had pretty soft lips so she certainly wouldn’t complain if the gods of teenage parties chose them.

The top of the glass landed on Gohan.

He’d spent the whole game looking like he was having an out-of-body experience and was debating running away, but something was keeping him there. The apology in his eyes made it crystal clear that it wasn’t her he was waiting for. Still, he didn’t enact the Videl Rule.

Erasa fought back bitter disappointment as she moved closer to Gohan. His expression hadn’t changed from a combination of both anxiety and disinterest and he didn’t move towards or away from her. He’d basically turned into a statue. Even if she’d been spending months trying to hook up him and Videl, it still sucked to have everyone else see just how not into the idea of kissing her he was.

To get it over with and spare both of them, she kissed his cheek and moved back. She’d survive his silent rejection. The half-smile he sent her at least made it all a bit better.

Videl, however, looked positively furious.

“What’s wrong, Vi?” Erasa asked as Gohan spun the bottle. The nerves hadn’t left his face at all and it was becoming increasingly clear that he was seconds away from bolting out the door.

Videl pulled one of her pigtails. “Nothing.”

“Doesn’t sound like nothing.”

“Shut it, Erasa.”

The bottle stopped spinning and pointed at Videl.

The whole room seemed to hold its breath as Gohan, the super genius from Mt. Paozu, and Videl, the daughter of the world savior, stared at each other but neither made a move into or away from the circle. Gohan’s fists clenched in his lap while Videl aggressively bit one of her knuckles.

Sharpner looked over at Erasa, but she was as in the dark about what would happen next as the rest of them. The whole game would be at a standstill until someone did something and no one was going to force their hands or else risk getting kicked out by Sched.

With a gulp big enough for everyone to see, Gohan stood up, walked to the center of the circle and sat back down with his legs crossed. His eyes were locked on the stairs, however, instead of looking at Videl and his hands were shaking. It was adorable how nervous he was. Erasa hadn’t seen anyone this anxious about kissing since eighth grade and everyone’s braces were starting to come off.

But the woman of the hour still hadn’t moved from her spot. By itself, that was a positive sign. Videl hadn’t dragged it out the last two times she’d played; she’d said ‘no’ within five seconds, dashing the hopes of her would-be kissing partner. If this went on much longer though, Gohan could just leave and there might not be a second chance.

“Videl,” Sharpner said, “you know that you don’t have to—”

“Just give me a minute!” She took a deep breath, got up from her spot on the floor and walked over to Gohan, who finally turned his gaze to her. When she sat before him, he licked his lips. Slowly, she placed her hands on his face, leaned in and pressed their mouths together. For a moment, it looked like he wouldn’t respond at all, but he shut his eyes and kissed back, his right hand going to her neck and the left playing with the ends of one of her pigtails.

It was so cute that Erasa was tempted to pull out her phone and take a picture to show them both later. Finally, her two favorite people were confronting their feelings. They’d have the cutest babies!

After about thirty seconds, the pair pulled back and stared at each other.

Sched chuckled. “OK, you two. Time to—”

Videl slammed back into Gohan with such force that Erasa swore she could feel it, too. Gloved fingers ran through spiky hair as his hands trailed down Videl’s body to her hips.

And then she was climbing into his lap.

A growl that sounded like it came from Gohan (GOHAN!!) ripped through the room as his hands grasped her ass.

And, oh, my, was she dry humping him?!

She was doing worse than that; she was tearing at his shirt like she needed to get access to his skin immediately.

He broke away from her mouth and trailed kisses down her jaw to her neck as Videl succeeded in ripping away the fabric keeping her from Gohan’s chest and arms.

God, he was ripped! Who knew?!

Erasa could only stare with her jaw on the floor as Videl whispered something in his ear and Gohan lifted her up like she weighed nothing, her arms and legs wrapped around him and her mouth attached to his throat. He took her into the room Sched had designated earlier and Videl slammed the door behind them.

And then the moans came.

Loud, hungry moans of Gohan’s name followed by what could only be a bedframe slamming against the wall.

“What the fuck?” Sharpner whispered.

“I knew the both of them must have been pent-up, but, damn,” Sched said.

“Did…did all of you see that?” Angela asked.

“What part!? There was an awful lot to see just now!” a guy from the wrestling team shouted.

One of the girls from class, Prota, frowned and crossed her arms. “Dammit. I wanted to fuck him.”

Another very loud cry of ‘Gohan!’ came from the room.

“Sounds like Videl is getting the ride of her life,” a girl the year below them said.

“What the hell just happened?!” Sharpner asked as he rose from his place on the floor. “Did…did Brains and Videl really just…do that?! Are they seriously in there having sex right now!?”

“That’s what it sounds like,” Erasa said.

The only sound in the room was the continuous thumping of metal against wood as whatever Gohan and Videl were doing kept happening.

And then it stopped.

And not even five minutes later, Videl was moaning again.

“OK, maybe we should move this elsewhere,” Sched said. “The house is big, so we can find another spot to continue the game.”

“Dude, I don’t want to keep playing this lameass game. I want to know what the hell those two are doing in there,” a boy from the baseball team said.

“You’re not going to know.” Erasa stood up and dusted off her skirt. “C’mon. We might as well give them some privacy.”

“Are they secretly dating?” someone asked.

“They have to be,” someone else said. “It’s Videl and Gohan, the two most sexually repressed people in the entire school. There’s no way the two of them just snapped and matched each other’s freak like that.”

“I think that’s probably why they aren’t dating yet. The both of them have strict parents and it’s been obvious that they wanted to fuck each other’s brains out for weeks.”

Apparently Erasa wasn’t the only person to notice what was going on between the pair. She merely shrugged when people looked to her for confirmation, unable to say much else. Mr. Satan didn’t put that many rules on Videl’s life for most things, just dating. Gohan’s mom, on the other hand, well, they’d never met her, but the way Gohan talked, it was very obvious that his mother ran a very, very tight ship and he couldn’t step even one toe out of line without her finding out.

They did not end up continuing the game. Everyone who had been playing was too busy with their new self-made tasks of spreading the word of Gohan and Videl to be interested in anything else. For years, everyone had wondered who Videl’s first boyfriend would be and now they had an answer.

Erasa expected Videl to come down and start her walk of shame after ten minutes, but her friend was still upstairs, still fucking Gohan, two hours later when the party was starting to wind down.

“How much stamina does he have?” Sharpner asked as they went upstairs to check on the two.

“Don’t know, but I’m jealous.”

“UGH, GOHAN! RIGHT THERE. PLEASE. PLEASE.” A slam against the wall followed by rattling and loud gasps of ‘HARDER. YES! YES! LIKE THAT! DON’T STOP.’ painted a very vivid picture of what was still going on and would likely keep going on well into the night.

“They’re fucking like animals,” Sharpner said. “Are they seriously not tired?”

“I’m more impressed Videl even still has a voice with how vocal she’s being.”

Erasa debated knocking on the door and seeing if either of her friends remembered that they were at a party and not one of their houses, but the feral masculine sounds and high-pitched feminine moans coming out of the room held her back. If she had been in Videl’s place and was getting it that good, she’d kick someone’s ass if they interrupted her.

“Are they still going?” Sched asked as he joined them. “Everyone else has left or is getting ready to go.”

“You wanna interrupt them? Be my guest.” Sharpner held out his arm and gestured at the door.

“No way, man. Videl’ll probably clobber anyone who tries and then go right back to riding Gohan’s dick.”

The three of them just stood around, waiting for the noises to stop, but as the minutes ticked by, they never did. Screams and groans of pleasure would be replaced by two familiar voices talking too quietly for Erasa to hear was being said, and then the cycle would start up again.

“I’m heading home,” Sharpner said. “Thanks for the party, Sched.”

“Yeah, sure.” Sched looked over at Erasa with a pitying look. “You wanna stay over to make sure Videl gets home in the morning OK? I’m not sure she’s gonna be able to walk when she wakes up.”

“Your parents won’t mind?” Erasa asked.

“Nah. They’re out of town and as long as everything is cleaned up afterwards, they trust me.”

“In that case, yes, please.”

Sched led Erasa to a room on the third floor above Videl and Gohan’s room, apologizing that the other guest rooms were being renovated. Erasa didn’t care too much; a warm bed was enough. She called her parents to let them know she was staying with Videl (technically true) and then she left a voice mail for Mr. Satan saying Videl wasn’t feeling well and Erasa was looking after her. She would have sent a message to Gohan’s mom, but she had no idea what the Son family’s house number was. Poor guy was going to be in for it when he finally got back to his place.

Bases covered, she slipped into bed and waited for sleep to take her. But the thump, thump, thump of a bed kept pulling her out of dreamland and back into the world of the living.

Erasa was happy for them, really, but did they have to be so damn loud?!

---

Videl woke up with a muscular arm around her waist and hot breath blowing against her ear. Familiar spiky black hair filled her vision as Gohan nuzzled her neck then kissed her collarbone.

“Morning,” he whispered into her skin.

They’d had sex.

A lot of sex.

After a frenzied first round, Gohan had kissed and licked almost every inch of her before taking her again. She hadn’t been able to resist doing the same followed by riding him. He’d tasted so good. The fifth or sixth time, he’d taken her from behind and at some point in the night, he’d turned her on her side, raised her leg, and fucked her like a jackhammer.

“Who taught you those moves?” she asked.

“Hmm?”

“Last night. You were very enthusiastic.”

She could feel how hot his blush was.

“Well, I…my dad’s friends kind of took it upon themselves to teach me sex ed when I was fourteen and a few of them might have showed me some pictures and videos and stuff.”

OK, that made sense. “I’m surprised your mom allowed that.”

“She didn’t. She still has no idea and she would kill them and me if she knew, especially given some of the materials they used.” Gohan raised his head and looked at Videl with fear in his eyes. “She can never find out.”

“I’m guessing she can also never find out what we did.”

“I’d rather she didn’t, though I’m not sure how plausible that is.”

“My dad’s gonna freak, too, if he ever catches wind of this. He’s pretty overprotective.”

Gohan hummed, his attention, and lips, back on her neck. His fingers traced Videl’s cheek before slid down her side to her breast to cup it, his thumb rubbing circles around her nipple.

“Didn’t you get enough last night?” Videl tried to sound annoyed, but every word had to make it past breathy little moans as Gohan lit all of her on fire once more.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you.” He nipped her ear.

“We—we have to leave, UNH, at some point.” Fuck. Fuck. He so good at touching her.

“Later.”

Where had her nerdy classmate that was too shy to take a girl’s number go?

He kissed down her neck and trailed a path across her chest with his tongue. “You taste so good.”

Videl blushed as he repeated her thoughts about him back to her. A gasp fell from her lips as one of his hands made its way between her legs and touched the little button that had her grasping for him. “Gohan….”

“I want to see you again.”

“You’ll see me in class.” The moment she said it, she knew that wasn’t what he meant, but her brain was too fried to concentrate on both his words and what his hands were doing and his hands were a lot more attention-grabbing.

He chuckled. “You know what I mean.”

“You want to be my stupid boyfriend or som—” Her back arched as Gohan dipped two fingers inside her. “Don’t stop.”

“Yeah, I want to be your stupid boyfriend.” His mouth latched onto her nipple as he fingerfucked her.

“You’ll, you’ll have to fight my dad.”

“Not a problem,” he said against her chest.

If she hadn’t seen all those muscles and experienced firsthand just how much stamina he had the night before, she would have thought he was joking. Gohan was built like a gladiator with scars and blemishes that made her want to spend all day studying them.

When his fingers curled within her, Videl couldn’t take it anymore. She wrapped her legs around his waist and grabbed his head to pull into a searing kiss. “Fuck me,” she demanded against his lips when they came up for air.

“Your wish is my command.” He reached over and grabbed the box of condoms from the bedside table. They’d used so many that Videl was pretty sure she and Gohan owed Sched at least a few replacement boxes. “Last one. Guess we’ll need to make this count.”

It was strangely erotic to watch him slide the latex on. She wouldn’t mind watching him jack off as long as her name was the only one that slipped past his lips.

He slid inside her and it was all she could do to not to tumble right over the edge the moment he started moving. Her body was sore and exhausted, but she needed him to keep driving her closer and closer to paradise.

She was going to become addicted to him if she wasn’t careful.

“You’re amazing,” he whispered in her ear as he gave her a rough thrust. “You’re so pretty when you’re about to come.”

Scratch that; she was too far gone.

Nails dragged down his back.

Black eyes stared into hers, making it impossible to look away.

Strong hips pushed her into the mattress.

Gasps and pants fell from them both as she tried to meet his every thrust.

“Videl.” He said her name like she was the most precious thing in the world, like he would do anything for her.

Her heart couldn’t take this. Everything in her had already been screaming for him and now that she’d had a taste, the desperate need he elicited in her only grew hungrier. “Gohan. Gohan, please.”

He grabbed one of her legs and slung it over his shoulder, making his dick hit even deeper. The precipice loomed in front of her and she wanted it, needed it. His movements turned erratic, letting her know that he was also on the brink. She grabbed his ass and pulled him forward, encouraging him to keep going as she let out cries for more.

She didn’t know which one of them came first. All she knew was that Gohan held her to his chest as her orgasm finally hit and his mouth sucked on her neck hard.

“I want to mark you so bad,” he whispered. He’d probably left dozens of hickeys on her already. Whatever he meant, she hoped he would show her sooner rather than later.

He kissed her like he had after every round, his hand cupping her neck and his fingers threading themselves in her hair. The raw desperation he poured into it was almost enough to make her come again.

It took forever for the her to return to the world and not be completely consumed by Gohan. When she finally did, she was unsurprised to find herself wrapped in his arms and one of his legs slung over her waist. He was a giant teddy bear in a warrior’s body.

“Why did you hide all your muscles?” she asked as she ran a hand down his arm.

“Couple reasons.” He lifted his left arm to show a scar on his bicep. “Didn’t really feel like explaining that or any of the other ones. Also, they tend to draw a lot of attention and I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m kind of bad at dealing with people looking at me.”

“Oh, trust me, I’ve noticed. Sure you still want to be my stupid boyfriend? You’ll have to deal with the most annoying people on earth trying to take your picture without your permission.”

“I’ll just break a few cameras.”

She laughed. “Sounds like a plan. You lift weights or something?”

“Martial arts since I was five. Well, four. It’s a bit fuzzy, honestly.”

“You gonna spar with me?”

“If that’s what I need to do to be your stupid boyfriend, that’s fine.”

Videl fought the urge to giggle. She was so putting him in her contacts as ‘Stupid Boyfriend’ when she had the chance.

A sharp ring pulled them out of the haze they’d surrounded themselves in.

“I think it’s mine.” Gohan reached for his pants and pulled his phone out. “Nooooo. My mom left a million voice mails.”

He pressed a button and a scream louder than anything Videl had heard before came out of the device. “SON GOHAN! THERE BETTER BE A GOOD REASON WHY YOU AREN’T RETURNING MY CALLS AND YOU’RE STILL NOT HOME! YOU’RE LUCKY I HAVEN’T SENT VEGETEA OR KRILLIN AFTER YOU! GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE NOW!”

His already pale skin went paper white. “I’m so dead.”

“Maybe you can tell her you got drunk and didn’t want to ride your copter back until you were sober?”

“That’s just going to make her throttle me faster. The only reason she even let me go to the party was if I promised not to drink. She’s fine with me having a little bit here and there at home or around close friends and family, but not around people we don’t know that well.”

That was reasonable. A lot more reasonable than Dad forbidding Videl from having any alcohol at all (and what led to her calling Erasa over and getting drunk for the first time when she was fourteen and he’d brought home three women on the same night).

“Guess you’ll be dead before you could take me on a date.”

“I’ll take you on a date. Just give me…thirty years? Maybe forty.” Gohan groaned as he put his head in his hands.

“You going to make me wait that long for a repeat performance?” she teased.

“No, I’ll figure something out. I hope.”

It took a few more minutes for Videl to get enough feeling back in her legs to stand and when she did, Gohan kept kissing her ‘one more time’ before he took her hand and led her to the kitchen where Erasa and Sched were waiting. How he knew that’s where they were, Videl had no idea, but she wasn’t going to ask.

Sched lent Gohan a shirt that looked similar enough to the one Videl had torn to shreds that maybe, just maybe, Gohan’s mom might not notice. Videl wasn’t apologizing for ripping off that shirt off, though.

At first, Gohan had insisted that he do the gentlemanly thing and walk Videl and Erasa home, but she knew that every minute longer he put off going back to Mt. Paozu, the worse it would be for him and the longer it might be before they got to spend quality alone time together again. She and Erasa had practically pushed him out the door, assuring him that whatever good boyfriend points he was worried about losing would not be held against him, while his phone was a few inches away from his ear and his mom’s voice raged at him.

“DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS ABOUT YOU?! I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO BULMA AND CONTACTED MASTERS PROGRAMS INSTEAD OF LETTING YOU GO TO THAT SCHOOL! WHO WERE YOU WITH AND WHY HAVEN’T YOU BROUGHT THEM HERE FOR A PROPER INTRODUCTION?! ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?!”

“Damn. Now I know why he’s so terrified of his mom,” Sched said. “Sounds like she’s ready to chop him up into a bunch of little pieces and throw them all over the mountainside.”

“Yeah. No wonder he follows every single rule to a T,” Erasa added.

Videl was not getting that date before graduation, was she? At least she’d get to see her new boyfriend at school and there were plenty of dark corners at OHS to fool around in.

Erasa and Videl left after helping Sched finish cleaning up and thanking him for letting them stay over. Sched gave Videl a knowing look before waving them off. Once they were outside, Erasa slid next to Videl and grinned. “So, how was he? From all those noises you were making, it sounded like he’s very, very good.”

Heat rushed into Videl’s cheeks. “I came at least ten times.”

“No way! Ugh, I should have flirted with him harder.”

“Erasa!”

“Kidding, kidding. The whole school is going to know by Monday that you have quite thoroughly claimed Son Gohan for yourself. I’m sure his fan club will be devasted.”

Of course he had a fan club. “Good, because I’ll break the hand of the next person that touches him.”

“And we’re totally switching seats on Monday.”

“Why?”

“If you and Gohan are together now, I’d rather not deal with you crawling over me to get to his dick.”

“I’m not gonna jump him in the middle of class, Erasa.”

“Vi, with what happened last night, you could have fooled me.”

For once, Videl didn’t have a comeback. “How much did everyone hear?”

“All I’m gonna say is that you are obviously a screamer.”

Well, at least if she died of embarrassment, it was because she’d been fucked so good that she’d been unable to hide it. She also got the perfect man out of the ordeal. “Kind of hard to not scream when a wall of pure muscle is eating you out.”

Erasa squealed and looped her arm through Videl’s. “Tell me everything!”
