—Everything was going just like in the book, ‘The Birth of a Hero,’ but.... at some point, things turned out like this.

—Why did it turn out this way? It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Choi Han should have just been stopped from entering the city, not treated like a criminal.

“Why is there such a commotion here at the city gate?”
Cale asked as soon as he approached the guards who were holding someone down on the ground.
“Young Master Cale, this person here is trying to enter the city, demanding to speak with the count. He says he’s here to request a burial for the residents of some village... He has no identification, and insists he must speak with the count.”
The guard replied quickly.
—Is this supposed to happen...? The original story wasn’t like this—an anomaly. Could it be because of me...?

Cale thought this would be the best course of action, after weighing the pros and cons, especially since this didn’t happen in the original story.
“I’ll take him to my father.”

The guard asked anxiously, his distress evident on his face. Cale looked at Choi Han’s increasingly cold expression and began to sweat, even though his own face remained unchanged.
