‘Suzaku is the Lancelot’s pilot’ is the thought that circulates through Lelouch’s head nonstop. Suzaku, his best friend, is his biggest obstacle currently. Suzaku had never told him. Lelouch is angry so very angry but this also means that if he can get Suzaku he can get the white knightmare and that’s where the silver linings come in even if Suzaku could’ve gotten himself killed. He has plans created and who knows how many different ways to convince Suzaku over to his side, the right side, when it all falls apart.
Suzaku is knighted by Euphie. Suzaku pledges himself to Lelouch’s sister. It sends Lelouch spiraling into a fit of anger. Lelouch gets so angry that he basically ghosts Suzaku when he returns to school. When Suzaku basically starts begging and crying for him to talk to him again Lelouch delights in how the other boy grovels. Eventually though Lelouch relents and spends more time with Suzaku who practically hangs off of him. He likes it better like this.
They’re in class when Lelouch feels Suzaku’s hand traveling along his leg and up beneath his uniform shirt before trying to sneak beneath his pants. Lelouch does allow it but this teacher has been eyeing the two of them for a while now and Suzaku persists until Lelouch notices the teacher likely turning to see if he can catch at least one of them getting up to something and pulls Suzaku’s hand from his pants right when he feels Suzaku trying to breach his entrance and whispers to Suzaku that they’ll do this later. ‘Later’ ends up being the next day since Nunnally had wanted to spend time with them. It does postpone their activities but it does give Lelouch enough time to make what is probably an awful decision.
Instead of taking his birth control Lelouch angrily tosses the day’s dose into the trash and goes on as usual. When he and Suzaku fall into bed together at the end of the day Lelouch feeling encroaching guilt sneaking up on him asks if Suzaku has condoms and as is usual the other boy does, he even double checks that Lelouch is on birth control if he doesn’t want to use one. Lelouch refuses so it isn’t obvious if a baby does happen but he does wish he’d thought of sabotaging Suzaku’s condoms somehow. Lelouch can’t help but try calculating what the chances of him getting pregnant would be as Suzaku fingers him. Sure it had been a spur of the moment thing but if Lelouch does get pregnant he can make it look like an accident since they were both supposedly using contraception. His train of thought is cut off when Suzaku pushes into his cunt and begins fucking him. One thing Lelouch does regret is being unable to feel Suzaku properly inside of him. Lelouch scrambles to make nothing look out of place and hands him one of the sabotaged condoms and they carry on with their evening plans.
Over the course of Suzaku’s surprisingly free week they spend a lot of time ‘making up’ for the brief hiccup in their relationship and Suzaku apologizing for what he had done to slight Lelouch. Lelouch can’t help the feeling of guilt that wells up in his stomach about his own actions but he doesn’t say anything and continues on with his plans.
Things end too soon for Lelouch’s liking and things go south and now Lelouch has used his Geass on Suzaku. It makes Lelouch feel even worse on top of the attempted baby trapping but at least Suzaku is still alive.
They’re planning for another festival when Lelouch realizes he’s missed his period. He’s giddy as he digs into the very back of his bathroom cabinet for the pregnancy tests he’d bought a few weeks back so he could check if his plan was actually working. Lelouch bursts out into uncontrollable laughter at the test reading positive. He’s very quick to message Suzaku about ‘something they need to talk about’ and when Suzaku arrives clearly nervous Lelouch puts on the best show he can of being distressed about the ‘unexpected’ pregnancy.
Suzaku does his best to comfort him though Lelouch can feel the other boy’s hands shaking. When Suzaku asks him what he wants to do Lelouch is quick to turn around and insist Suzaku help him raise the child and Suzaku is quick to step up as Lelouch had expected but to Lelouch’s surprise Suzaku seems almost excited, he’s certainly happy that’s for sure since Suzaku loves Lelouch so much but the excitement is unexpected.
Lelouch kisses Suzaku to hide the smirk growing on his face as his plans fall into place.

When Lelouch starts ignoring Suzaku he can’t help but fear he did something wrong. Suzaku knows Lelouch doesn’t approve of how Suzaku is doing things but he knows why he has to do them this way, why this is so important to him. But the longer Lelouch ignores him over becoming Euphemia’s knight the more and more panicked he becomes. Suzaku begins pestering and all but begging Lelouch to spend time with him. He can’t go on with Lelouch hating him like this, without Lelouch what good is anything?
He has Lelouch pinned against a wall in some secluded corner of the school when he basically breaks down crying and begging for Lelouch to stop ignoring him, that he’s so so so sorry and that he needs Lelouch. When the other boy agrees to speak with him again Suzaku clings to Lelouch in a way he hadn’t before. He’s practically attached at the hip to Lelouch whenever he’s in school.
Suzaku wants Lelouch so damned badly and maybe class isn’t the right place for it but Suzaku can’t help himself when he starts feeling up Lelouch or slipping his hands under the other boy’s uniform and down into his underwear. He has his hand far enough down the front of Lelouch’s pants to prod his fingers at his entrance when Lelouch removes his hand and whispers a “Later” to him. Suzaku can accept later. He’s not exactly glad to get cock blocked by Nunnally but they do end up together the next day.
The only issue is Suzaku’s growing worry that Lelouch will start ignoring him again and combined with the suspicions he has of Lelouch being Zero, his enemy, Suzaku isn’t making the greatest of decisions. It’s an intrusive impulse that has him poking holes into one of his condoms and he immediately feels disgusted with himself. He had planned to just toss the compromised condom but he slips it back in with the others in his bag and meets ups with Lelouch.
His guilt at his actions eats away at him when Lelouch asks if he has condoms. He answers yes because he does have uncompromised ones but the one he did mess with has Suzaku asking Lelouch about his birth control. He feels better when Lelouch tells him that yes he’s still taking it and Suzaku knows he jumped the gun a little bit asking if they could forgo one layer of protection but he doesn’t fight when Lelouch denies his request.
When he pulls his fingers out of Lelouch and goes to put one on to finally sink into Lelouch’s body he ends up rolling on the one he’d sabotaged. It’s not like Lelouch will ever know, both contraceptives can fail but it still makes Suzaku feel awful. He carries on anyway.

When he gets a message from Lelouch about ‘something we need to talk about’ while at work his blood runs cold and glee wells up in his chest. He asks Euphie if he could return to Ashford and of course she tells him yes. When he sees Lelouch’s distress about the positive pregnancy test in his hands Suzaku feels all the guilt he’d been trying to bottle up drop into his stomach like a boulder. His hands shake as he tries to comfort Lelouch. When Suzaku hesitantly asks Lelouch what he wants to do, prepared to try gently persuading Lelouch to keep it if he’s considering getting rid of it, he’s shocked when Lelouch immediately switches to smiling and telling him he wants to keep it and insisting Suzaku help him. Of course Suzaku quickly agrees doing his best to hide his excitement at things going his way for once. Suzaku smiles into the kiss Lelouch presses against his lips.
