It's been almost a month since Peter ended up in a place called Gotham in New Jersey. He's doing pretty great over here,a city ridden with crime and a place where the rogues have PhD(sounds pretty great right?)
How did he end up here?
So…it all started when he was just on his way back from the store when his peter tingle(that's what aunt may called it and he honestly likes it so he'll use it sometimes) started vibrating in his mind warning him of danger but when he looked around, there's nothing that can threaten his safety
But well that's until a whole ass black hole looking portal suddenly opened under him and he fell inside for who knows how long and he swore the fall took long enough that he could've cooked a whole buffet enough for five generations of a family if he had a kitchen and the ingredients to do it
And that's how he ended up in this crime ridden city called Gotham(seriously,who the hell named a city Gotham) and it's also a city from another universe,yes,you heard that right he is indeed in another universe right now(and he also got de-aged into his 18 year old self)
you might think that he probably thought of a way to return home right? Actually no,he just doesn't feel like it. He got bitten by that radioactive spider at 12,became Spider-Man at 13, retired at 34 not long after May's death and it has been 13 years since he retired(yes,he is 47 year old)
Then who will take care of queens if he's already retired? His two spider proteges can take care of it and there's also a bunch of other vigilante and heroes that he had trained(taking care and training those little gremlins is NOT for the weak)in his retirement days that can help his two protege,whose name is miles morales and Gwen Stacy, in taking care of queens
Not that he doesn't care about queens anymore or something,he's just giving space for the younger generation of vigilantes and heroes a chance to stand out, to have their debut(and he's already old enough to live a peaceful life anyway,let him have the time of his own can you)
Training those bunch of kids alone is hard but luckily he had other people to help him to ease the burden a little, like, daredevil(who is also retired by now) Deadpool(even if he doesn't really want Deadpool to be close to HIS kids,he's still someone with extensive experience of fighting that can be taught to his little army of gremlin and he's trying his best to not kill after they created the team red with daredevil,so he'll let it slide) and of course….johnny….and Felicia too(even if she's a thief,her skill is not something to be looked down upon)
And yeah,he basically runs a free training school for young vigilantes and heroes at this point and he's pretty much aware of that,thank you. He can't just let those young kids enter this heroes and vigilantes biz without knowledge and training,they could get hurt and even worse dies,he know that they won't stop if people asked them to, so the resolution for that, he took them under his wing and trained them alongside with his friend's help
actually,he didn't plan on training those kids,at first he only trained miles after he happened to find him, a kid with spider power just like him. He helped the kid adjust to his power(the kid decided to become a vigilante on his own and he did tries to persuade him to not do it but alas,the kid is too stubborn)
then miles met Gwen,who also had spider power(seriously,how many of them is out there with spider power like him)
he ended up taking Gwen in too and the next thing he knows is that a bunch of super powered(a few of them don't have any power)young people came to his doorstep and begged him to train them and that's how his free vigilante and heroes training school started(sometimes, people from X-Men came to help him too and oh! Miss Nat did too with bucky)
Okay, we're getting side tracked here,let's go back to our original topic
So yeah,even if he's gone from his queens, there's still people out there that could take care of that city and he can spend his time in this Gotham city,even if he's starting as a homeless person,then so be it,he had experienced homelessness with aunt may not long after uncle Ben died,so he can do this
And….
he's not alone
At least he had two people he had missed so much here with him
Peter let out a shaky breath,white mist escaped from his mouth
He lays on the rooftop of an abandoned building in crime alley
With both hands under his head,he just stared at the starless sky. It's been a day and a half maybe? since he was dropped into Gotham (he still can't believe it that someone out there decided to name a city Gotham)
It's November here. He really doesn't like the cold season,it wasn't his favourite season.It never was since he was a kid,the coldness oftentimes trigger his asthma which he doesn't like and after the spider bite,He completely loses the ability to thermoregulate and that sucks ass. The price for losing your asthma is losing your thermoregulation? That's the most unfair trade ever if you ask him but hey! At least he got super healing,strength and hearing and a bunch of other powers related to arachnids.
And he kind of hates Christmas not gonna lie…
Why?
Because it's the time of the year when his house would always be crowded by those mannerless bunch and it makes him feel like an old grandpa with too many children and grandchildren, a 47 year old grandpa that is
But well,Just because he hates Christmas, doesn't mean he doesn't like what they did, it's just way too annoying to deal with them when they just barge into his home and interrupted his alone time(he appreciated the company though)
There this one time when they woke him up from his hibernation,yes,he did went into hibernation when it's too cold(he can't do that when he was still active as a vigilante but now that he's retired,who's gonna stop him from doing it) he chased them with the katana wade gave him on his 40th birthday
What did they do?
He woke up because they crowded him and the heat from them, especially from the one who had fire power,and their heat warmed his body that he woke up,— then he saw his face that they had coated with shaving cream? in the mirror. His face was full of shaving cream? and they even doodled his face with a sharpie and they dyed his hair NEON FUCKING GREEN— neon green mind you(his hair looked so stupid with the neon green hair and the shaving cream on his hair and he didn't even know where did they get such an ugly shade from)
Good thing it was washable
'you fucking brats!!!'
'get back here!'
'oh shit- Mr parker woke up,runnn!!!'
'oh no you DON'T,get back here! None of ya little shit are getting out of here alive'
'wade! Get your ass back here!'
'sorry webs, family emergency '
Miles who happens to get there when they rushed out of the house, laughed his ass off when he saw them being chased by him and he also laughed at HIM
Then he got what he deserves for laughing at him, and that is having a shaving cream coating his face too ( he's had the spider sense for more than a decade and he know damn well how to bypass the spider sense)— and then it's Peter's turn to laugh at him
' i hate you'
'No you don't and you love your mentor,why? Because I just know it'
'I seriously hate you....'
'Who told you to laugh at me kid HAHA!'
Peter let out a small laugh as he remembered that day when he chased them around with the katana,and the look on miles face is priceless when he was stunned
— it's cold out here…he knows that,he just felt like coming out and laying down on the rooftop to clear his mind after several hours of cleaning and fixing things in his temporary home
It's been one day and a half he think since he ended up here in gotham
That portal just unceremoniously spat him out right on this same rooftop at night and disappeared to who knows where. His head started hurting,then he lost consciousness and woke up maybe around 9 or 10 in the morning(and he honestly kinda freaked out but also grateful when he found out that he became young again)
He could feel his joints turning stiff the longer he stayed outside. It'll be a lie if he said he's not miss all those people from where he originally came from
He confirmed that this is indeed a different universe this morning when he went to the library to search for information on this place he's sure never existed in his world's new jersey
And yep, it really is not his universe, instead of the Avengers,they had the Justice league, Atlantis exist here, cities that he doesn't remember exist are there on the map, metropolis,Gotham and etc,etc.
Heroes he never heard of, organization he never heard of and many more things he never heard of,there's a lot of them.
He got too focused on learning about them that he didn't realize his time limit on the computer as a guest is almost up. He quickly erased his search histories as if he was never there and logged off
His spider sense has been prickling him ever since that red head librarian girl saw him,what was her problem,he doesn't know and he doesn't care.
He found an abandoned building just a block or two from here that he claimed as his temporary shelter.
A lot of things were left behind in that building that he can use for himself, it's not stealing if it was abandoned in the first place
He could hear miss nat’s voice from the back of his mind when she taught him a few tips on survival
Three things you need when you wake up somewhere you don't recognize is : 1.Food 2.Water and 3.Shelter
He got food at the soup kitchen so that settled
Water,he already got it now from the place he's taking shelter in
And of course he already got shelter too, which is the abandoned building he claimed
He rewired the electricity because that is the only thing he needed to do,the building still have a running water(cold water only though) and then cleaned only the room he'll be using for the night
“I need an identity too…” he whispered to himself
He'll do that tomorrow because the library surely had closed at 1 in the morning
He was about to get up and go back to his temporary home when his Spidey sense blared like an alarm
The portal— the same portal appeared again,on the same rooftop he was left at the night before
Danger!! Catch! Familiar!
His body moved before he could think properly,he held out his arm as if trying to catch someone
A person— no, two people fell out of the portal. He managed to catch one while the other one fell on top of him
His leg buckled,causing him to smack his head on the concrete floor. The person who fell on top of him is quite heavy,for normal person that is, and from their silhouette that he saw when they're falling, one is definitely a man and the other is a woman for sure
The man recovered first,he slowly tried to stand up with a groan, but his leg buckled and he smacked his head on the floor
“Fuck—” he cursed
Familiar! What? Who's familiar? This man?
Peter let go of the woman softly and went to help the man, the man lifted his head and Peter's body froze—
it was a face he recognized, a face he had seen in the photos and videos more times than he can count, a very,very familiar face…
“Dad?...”
Richard Parker and Mary Fitzpatrick had known each other from middle school
Richard met her after moving in with the parker,his parents friend, after his parents death due to the trapezes accident
The parkers took him and his older brother in after the freak accident
He was quite the rebellious boy after their death,he's full of anger but that changed after he went to therapy
As he entered middle school He started to see the parkers as his family and changed for the better after all of the love they gave him and his brother and all those therapy he went through
At middle school,he met Mary,she's one heck of a woman,you mess with her,then you better sleep with your eyes open pal
A savage woman you could say,he swore that he would never like a girl like that but well,look where he is now,he married the same woman that he swore he would never like and even had a cute little son with her and he even had his wife's beautiful brunette hair!
How ironic, right?
They started dating in college,married at the age of 21 and had Peter,his son,at the age of 37, quite late,yeah,he knows that,they just couldn't afford to have him in their early marriage day because of their work
They work for SHIELD,after working for them for over ten years they retired at the age of 36 due to some circumstances,a year after that,they had Peter
“Richard! Are you done yet?”
“Yes,yes! Wait a minute,I'm searching for my wallet!”
His wallet is nowhere to be found,out of all time he could've lost it,it just gotta be the time when he had something important
His wife, Mary,leaned at the doorstep with her arm crossed,she walked up to him and grabbed something from his pocket and held it right on his face
It's his wallet

“Is your old age getting to you old man?”
“Hey! I'm only 42 this year!”
“42 seems old to me” she raised her eyebrows
“Then you're old too sweetheart”
“I am very aware that I'm old,it's your narcissistic bum who's not”
“Oh c'mon,I'm not-” suddenly a small figure rushed to him and hugged his leg
“Daddy,are you done yet?” Ahhh,his son looks as cute as ever! His heart melted at the sight of his 5 year old son
“Okay Petey,I'm done,let's go send you to uncle Ben's house” he lifted his son up
“Yaaaaayyy!”
“Hey,why do you seem to like Ben more than me?”
“Yes”
He scoffed,you cheeky little brat,he pinched his son's cheek playfully,peter let out a giggle
His wife just watched from the door and smiled fondly at them
Everything had been fine,they drop peter off at Ben's house,they went to the airport and boarded the plane,Mary was chosen as the spokesperson for the company she worked at

On their way back home,the left wing of the plane exploded,as the plane plummeted down, everything went black as soon as he heard a much larger explosion than before
He's falling down,he opened his eyes,he can't see anything,but he knew he was falling for who know how long
Then he hit something,the impact left him disoriented,he let his mind cleared a little before he tried to get up but pain shot up on his ankle,his leg buckled,likely strained
A hand grabbed a hold of him and helped him get up,his ankle throbbed in pain.
Richard lifted his head up, the one who helped him is a boy,likely in their teenage years,brunette hair and brown eyes,his face looked familiar for some reason
He was about to thank him when the boy opened his mouth and said a word he never would've expected
“ Dad?...” the kid's lips quivered
