“Peter bud, my little spider, you have to apologise.” Bucky said, Peter stared at him in horror. They had only just reconnected a few hours ago and Peter was happily meeting the Avengers. They were all doing their own things before dinner at the moment though. His dad thankfully sent Steve away so they could talk and he was happily snuggled up with him on the couch.
“To Captain America?” he asked, scandalised, why should he?! If anyone had to apologise it was Steve to him. His dad chuckled, thankfully that usually meant no!
“No… well yes him, but I meant Tony, you really hurt him using him like that.” He said running his hands through his hair. Peter jumped up. He completely forgot!
In his time away from his father he did genuinely enjoy spending time with the tin can. He was funny and didn't mind Peter's bluntness. Also he let Peter build and learn whatever he wanted, encouraging it. He totally forgot to tell the man that he and his wife were in no danger!
Peter looked around nervously, not wanting to leave his dad just yet but also he really wanted to find Tony. Thankfully Winter got up with a groan.
“Friday, mind tellin’ us where ol’ Iron is?” he asked the ceiling. Peter could now place his accent and it was still a little jarring. The man still had a horrible accent even all those years in Russia. Peter bounced nervously in the elevator, heading down to Tony’s lab. When the doors opened he could hear the thumping of AC/DC.
“Uh oh..” Steeling his nerves like the first time he walked through these halls he marched to the glass door… and knocked.
Immediately the music turned down to a bearable volume and the almost impossible to see door slid to the side, allowing Peter and his father access. Tony, who was welding, didn't stop and spoke.
“Oh hey Pep, dinner ready?” He asked, sparks flying.
Peter waited till he was away from dangerous flames and what not. Pushing up his visor and spinning away Tony turned to them and stopped dead gaping like a fish.
“Terminator and my favorite intern, what can I do for ya?” He asked, obviously upset and yet nervous as hell. Peter realised belatedly having two assassins, one who used you to kill you showing up in your lab uninvited with no warning.. is terrifying.
“Uh Tony..?” Peter started, suddenly actually nervous, his shoes were very interesting. His fathers hand, the non metal one, sat comfortingly on his back. “i-I’d like to apologise.” Tony gaped even harder now.
“I shouldn't have used you to get revenge on Captain America and the other Avengers, or plotted to kill you. And I do admit at first I did it to kill all of you but the more we got closer the more I didn't want to and especially you and Nat. I wasn't planning on hurting either of you and only damaging those stopping me from getting to.. Him.” he glared at nothing in particular having to think so much about Captain America. “I enjoy what we do together.. And would like to still be your intern.”
If you'd let me?” Peter smiled at Tony who had his head in his hands, his shoulders shaking. Rushing forward concernedly.
“Tony? Are you crying? Did it upset you that much?” he asked, hovering nearby, not quite touching him.
Tony leaned back and started laughing harder. He was laughing so hard a few tears collected in his eyes. Peter was even more confused. Especially when his father started chuckling then burst into laughter just as loud. Peter looked between the two hella confused.
“Папа? Tony?” He questioned, squeaking when Tony hugged him.
“Kid you're all good Pepper helped me think like a regular person and knew you wouldn't hurt us. Well her and I but that's neither here nor there. You're still my intern kid. I'm not gonna fire you for plotting a bit of murder. Also hiding this from Fury will be very fun.” He laughed, not unlike a Disney villain.
“Hate to ruin your fun, but Fury very much knows already, well about my son but not who it is. Actually he thinks you're dead.” Peter gaped as the two started giggling like mad children.
“We need to separate you two!” He said pointing at them, glaring lightly.
“We can be separated when you go and apologise to Steve.” Winter said, ruffling his hair.
“He should apologise to me! He took you away!” he glared, retreating away from him.
“You threw a fork at him.”
“The least he could do really.” Tony agreed, nodding to Peter.
“Tony!”
Peter sighed heavily.
If it would get him in his fathers good graces, he would apologise… after dinner.
“I’m the favorite uncle, argue with the wall.”

Dinner was nearing to an end and Peter could eat forever. The problem with that was people were starting to migrate to the couch and they were watching his favorite (How to lose a guy in 10 days) because the other Avengers hadn't seen it yet.
“Cmon little spider hurry so you don't miss it.” Natasha said as she passed his chair, ruffling his hair.
He hated this.
Fuming he finished his food and put his dishes in the sink before grabbing a butter knife. Stabbing it into the table a bit too harshly in front of star spangled manners he glared at the man who gaped.
“Youll catch flies.” he snapped making the man close his mouth and look at Bucky. Fear sat in his eyes making Peter smile.
“I’m sorry I threw a fork at you.” he said, turning to his father who nodded. He walked away, leaving the knife in the table. Grabbing his favorite blanket he curled up in his usual spot curled against Tony and his dad, and if he took a sick sort of glee that Steve had to sit on the floor no one else would know. Except for Tony and his father who shared a glance when he started chuckling looking at the man.
