"Hold my tea"

Summary:

MANGA SPOILERS!!

A collection of one-shots for the new trio: Suo, Rakta and Bacchus
Yes, we know almost nothing about the new characters so far but the potential sibling dynamic between them is just too entertaining 😭

Also, this way we can get used to this trio in case we don't get the old trio back :')
Jokes aside, nii-sensei I am in your walls you better bring the Furin trio back together-

Chapter 1: Did you know your ears turn red when you lie?

Notes:

By your dearest yipp_ii :3
Anything but chap 17 of "Until dawn comes-" I know 😭

Anyways I love this prompt and I knew I had to write the trio with it-

Also, just for clarification, we'll be using SunFei as Suo's first name, but we'll stick to Suo for the last name :)

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Rakta and Bacchus weren't the most compatible, which was expected — with how different their personalities were.

There were only two situations where the both of them would put their differences aside and work together. One being, understandably, during battle.

It was quite extraordinary, despite their constant bickering, they worked incredibly well together. It was like they were reading each other's minds, predicating the other's movements and working with it.

Because without a doubt, the bond between the members of the Red Chanpuru was unbreakable, and it showed during battle.

The other situation though, it definitely wasn't as serious, but they sure treated it like it was…

Rakta was currently on the phone, talking about much more important matters, when-

"Hey Rakta!"

Rakta closed his eyes, letting out a breath, his irritation bubbling up already. He turned around, excusing himself before pocketing his phone, his gaze shifting to the man approaching him — who had a wide grin on his face, that never meant anything good..

Bacchus stepped forwards with purpose —also never a good sign— and he leaned closer, as if sharing a secret. "I told SunFei his ears turn red when he lies"

Rakta's brows furrowed. "Why would you do that?" he asked, sounding confused and almost bored. Though the better term would be 'tired of his antics'.

What good would it do trying to fool their little brother?

As if on cue, said little brother —Suo— entered their frame of vision. The boy was walking around the open streets of Bankoku-Gai, looking over everyone with that same cold, detached gaze that could shake even the most dangerous criminals to their core.

But when the auburn-haired boy's eye caught their figures, his expression changed, almost lighting up — no matter how much he tried to hide it, it was obvious.

As the young officer approached the two of them, Bacchus quickly threw a mischievous look towards Rakta, his voice a hushed whisper, "so I could do this". He turned his head over his shoulder, looking at the boy.

"Hey feifei!" he called out, his grin widening as he noticed how Suo's expression scrunched up in annoyance at the nickname. But he continued anyway. "Do you love us?" he asked, maybe a little too loudly.

Rakta watched in silent amusement as Suo's brows furrowed at the question. Then, the boy turned his head to the side, his hand (trying to) subtly come up to his head to cover his visible ear. "No" he blurted out, though his tone sounded pretty uncertain on its own.

Bacchus snickered, grinning ear to ear as he chuckled to himself. Suo's expression only morphed into one of more confusion. The boy's eye moved to Rakta, seeking an answer, but the man was also biting the inside of his cheek to stifle a laugh.

Suo's lips curled into what looked dangerously close to a pout — Bacchus would never let him live that down. "What?" he asked, a bit of irritation seeping into his tone.

"Ah, no- it's nothing" Bacchus finally spoke, waving his hand in dismissal as his giggles died down. Rakta closed his eyes, trying to resist the upward tug at the corner of his lips.

"What?" Suo repeated, almost sounding like a whiny child, but neither of the elder two indulged him, leaving the poor boy in the dark.

Suo did bug them about it the rest of the day, constantly asking what was so funny, but they never told him.

They also never told him that his ears didn't turn red when he lies.

Rakta and Bacchus didn't along in the best ways, but right now, there was an unspoken agreement between them. They would never tell their dearest SunFei the truth.

They're having too much fun with this…
