(Kita's POV)
Lately, Kita has been looking at Bocchi. Like, REALLY looking at her. Although, who wouldn't be!
Now, Bocchi's always been attractive, though she doesn't seem to put much effort into her own presentation, which is a shame! Kita gets jealous sometimes, honestly. I mean, Bocchi has it all! She's cute, kind, interesting, AND has an ideal body! It's truly a shock that the guitarist hasn't found anybody yet...
Or it would be, if she wasn't so shy.
But whatever! Back to the topic at hand, Kita's been noting new things about Bocchi, like...
"Oh, hey Hitori-chan!" Kita exclaims, tilting her head slightly upwards as Bocchi walks into Starry, hands in her tracksuit pockets, head tilted slightly downwards.
"Hey, Kita-chan..." Bocchi has gotten TALL recently. Before, she was around Kita's height, though Kita was a bit taller. But now? Bocchi might be taller than Ryo... (Not that Kita minds or anything, but it's pretty funny when she stands next to Nijika or something and towers over her.)
"Hey, Bocchi-chan!" Nijika calls out from beside Ryo, waving her hand above her head as Ryo looks up as well. "Sup' Bocchi." Bocchi waves silently, sitting down next to Kita and setting down her guitar.
"S-sorry I'm a little late, Futari had made a mess and needed help cleaning it up." She explains, voice soft and gentle. Kita's already bright smile brightens further, her natural glow amplifying slightly. "It's okay, Hitori-chan! We weren't doing anything just yet anyway! I was just waiting for you."
(Nijika's POV)
"...Hey, Nijika." Ryo suddenly speaks up, interrupting Nijika mid-sentence. She's staring particularly intensely (or as intense as she can get with her blank expression) at Bocchi and Kita, who are just chatting it up.
"Hm? What's up, Ryo? You look... Focused." Nijika pauses slightly, looking suspiciously at Ryo before following her gaze towards Bocchi and Kita. "Huh. Y'know," Nijika turns her crimson gaze down, tracing lazy circles on the table as she rests her chin on her hand. "Those two have been getting closer lately, right? I'm kinda jealous~!" She lilts playfully, placing both hands on the table and straightening her posture with a bright smile that definitely refutes what she said a second ago.
"Hm." Ryo hums thoughtfully (or thoughtlessly. Honestly, Nijika doesn't even know if the bassist's paying attention at this point.) "They'd look good together." Ryo says, voice deadpan as ever.
"W-What? Don't be crazy... They don't see each other like that, Ryo!" Nijika says, shaking her head in slight disbelief, surprised by the sudden comment. Nijika looks over at them again, and Kita's showing Bocchi something on her phone.
Yeah, they don't see each other like that... Right? Nijika hopes not, because inter-band romance is one of the top reasons for band breakups due to conflict of interest! Especially if the relationship ends messily! (Though she knows that the two of them are much too pure for that.)
Suddenly worried, Nijika walks over to the two of them and...
(Kita's POV)
"What? Inter-band relationships?" Kita asks, tilting her head like a curious dog. Kita's never heard of it, although it seems like a pretty self-explanatory concept. "Mhm! I've always heard stories from big sis' and was curious about what you guys think!" Nijika explains, cheerful grin in place as she sits on Bocchi's other side.
"I-I mean..." Bocchi speaks up, glancing at Nijika before focusing back on her lap. "I think it's okay... A-As long as everybody's fine with it, of course!" She quickly adds on, waving her hands rapidly yet placatingly.
"Mhm! I think it's beautiful! I mean, you hang out with somebody every day, and you'll probably catch feelings, right?" Kita exclaims, leaning ever so slightly over Bocchi's lap to emphasize her point. "As long as nobody's hurt, I think it's perfectly fine!" She cheers, pumping a fist into the air before turning back to Nijika, playful smirk in place. "Why? You curious about hooking up with our resident bass-"
"Don't even, Ikuyo." Ryo interrupts, covering Kita's mouth with her hand from behind. When did she get behind her?! More than that... "I told you not to call me that!" Kita exclaims, prying Ryo's hand off of her mouth to pout and glare at the yellow-eyed bassist.
Kita sees Bocchi glance over at the two of them out of the corner of her eye and thinks she might see something, but the guitarist looks away too fast for her to confirm. Huh... Probably nothing!
Nijika, who had also noticed the glance, doesn't point it out, simply opting to raise a brow at Bocchi before turning her attention back to Kita and Ryo. "Pfft, don't be ridiculous. I like being happy, thank you." Nijika says, now raising an eyebrow at Kita. "I mean, didn't you-"
"Ahahaha! You know what, on second thought, maybe interband romance IS bad! Now, get off of me!" Kita whines, and Ryo complies, simply opting to sit next to Kita instead of behind her.
"I mean, I'm irresistible so I understand if you want me, Nijika." She says, smugness evident despite the lack of inflection in her voice. Bocchi smiles softly, Kita giggles, and Nijika rolls her crimson eyes, pointing at the taller girl with her own deadpan clapback. "1, I don't. 2," Nijika narrows her eyes. "I'd love to find where you get the confidence to talk like that."
"Mhm..." Bocchi lets out an agreeing hum, nodding her head. Ryo, seeing the two of them 'gang up' on her, stands up and sits behind Bocchi, throwing her arms around the girl's shoulders. Bocchi lets out a squeak of surprise and her face flushes slightly.
"Bocchi~" Ryo drawls, turning up the pitifulness in her voice. "You're like the only one not obsessed with me in this accursed building~!"
"Obsessed!?" Both Nijika and Kita exclaim, though Nijika takes action. "Oh you-"
'How'd we even get here...' Bocchi thinks, watching Nijika put Ryo in a headlock.
(Seika's POV)
"What's wrong with those children..." Seika mutters to herself, watching the interaction with a clear look of bemusement.
PA-san giggles, covering her mouth with her sleeve. "Nijika starts to act more and more like you every day~!"
"Shut up, you. Before I dock your pay."
