After Will started going to Gotham academy, he met this boy who radiated death, and was trained in battle just like him. He was around the same level as WIll. As a mortal that's quite impressive. Well if he was one; he carries demon blood. Not the point, well… I won’t dwell on it further. Though he would probably suck at archery or music.
After dad became a god again, he blessed me with the skills of a master of archery and with the ability to play any instrument perfectly on the first go. Of course he can also sing like that's all he's been doing since he was born. Only downside, when he gets any big emotion like love or happiness he starts speaking Ancient Greek. So far no one has noticed except the demon blooded one.
What was his name again? Will thought. Oh yeah. Damian. Damian Wayne. The only biological child of Bruce Wayne. Now that I think about every time it happens, he’s always there. Surely it is nothing to worry about.
He’s a part something and Will’s part god, isn’t that the perfect match?- Aphrodite
Light and darkness mostly don’t go together but Jon thinks otherwise. Jon is Damian’s best friend, Will thinks, because he’s the only one he doesn’t immediately scowl at. I know they went through a lot together, their body language (Jon’s) indicates that. But ever since I've been going here, Jon has been trying to make me and Damian friends.
I still don’t understand why, but Jon is nice even if Damian is giving me a death glare when Jon takes me to sit with them. Will is lost in thought again in AP Biology, so as classic teachers do she calls on him. Everyone- including Damian thinks he; s just been slacking off. Which is exactly what he’s been doing. 'Will, can you name the biggest health challenges?’ He just sighs and answers:’ Heart Disease and Stroke, Cancer, Opioid Addiction, Infectious diseases and diabetes.’
The only problem with this answer was the fact they had only gone over the first one. How was he going to explain this? Especially to Damian at lunch. The teacher just sighed: ‘ William just because you apparently know more about the topic does not mean you get to slack off. Now back to the lesson.’ After the rest of the boring lesson about things Will already knew because of camp and the ability to give or cause diseases.
He thought about how Damian had been staring at him for the rest of the lesson with a gaze that most Athena children have when looking at battle plans, like something he needed to solve.
Oh gods, only one lesson left before the interrogation during lunch will begin, thank the fates that Jon was also in this class. Next lesson nothing happened, thankfully. Well until Mrs. Johnson started talking about writing an essay about meeting singers or other famous people in trio’s she would be making.
Everyone was now looking at Will and Damian. Will, because his mom Naomie Solace is really famous in Gotham- which is ironic because it is a city made out of shadows, or something- and Damian, because his father is still Bruce Wayne!? And also Jon because his parents are famous- and awardwinning reporters. By some string of fate she’d placed them all together with the catch that all famous parents needed to leave a statement.
Great… Another reason for Damian to hate me, maybe after this Jon will hate me for keeping the fact that Naomi Solace is my mother untold, Will thought, when he risked a glance at Damian who glared at him. Then at Jon who looked shocked, but no hate was visible on his face.
