kit was returning to her dorm after she had been studying for quite a while. tired and moody she was. it had been a long day of study and dealing with her senseless classmates and all she wanted to do was get in bed and go to sleep. the halls were generally clear and those that were there didn't bother her as she made her trip in which she was exceedingly greatful for as she would have attempted to kill whoever did.
around a few minutes later she arrived at her dorm. instantly, she set her bag down near the door and headed to her drawer to get her pajamas. she had seen nikki all cozy in bed watching something on their television. from what she could hear, it seemed to be some sort of shoujo anime. nikki saw kit as well and said hello to her, kit waved back and made her way into the bathroom to get changed.
a minute later kit returned from the bathroom and set her clothes in a laundry basket. she got right into bed and curled up next to nikki whos just overall warmth comforted her. nikki turned the television down and laid the remote near her pillow as to not move to much and began to lay down more in the bed. kit snuggled closer to nikki and she embraced her and lightly stroked her hair. in that moment, the both of them were truly at peace, it felt wonderful, wonderful. soon afterward it was heard in kit's breathing that she had fallen asleep. nikki dipped her head slightly and began to fall asleep too. the both of them slept so very well that night in eachothers entwine and kit was so grateful to have someone like this for her, someone who shows her affection and comfort and love like this when no one else does.
