Chapter Text
Charlie and Alastor were both sitting on the edge of the bed in her bedroom. The Radio Demon held her close in his lap, one hand rubbing soothing circles along the flat of her stomach, while the other arm remained locked tightly around her waist. Nose buried in the cook of her neck, taking slow steady inhales of her scent. He simply couldn’t help it, now more than ever, he had just been addicted to her smell.
His Charlotte Magne was right where she belonged, in his arms, under his constant watching eye and protection.
“This feels like a dream, you know?” She practically hummed, voice soft as she soothed into his hand rubbing her tummy.
“Hmm?” His ear flicked from her voice, his grip around her tightening slightly more firmly.
“You moving into my room… Us having this baby…” Her cheeks flushed lightly, relaxing further into the warmth of his chest. “But are you sure this isn’t going to fast for you? Y-You don’t have to move in with me yet?”
His eyes flashed a dangerously, the static hitching with demonic distortion. “My dear, you are the mother of my fawn. How could being even closer to you be moving to fast?” He pressed a tender kiss along her neck. “No, there is nothing that I want more than to be by your side, my precious little doe.”
More heat warmed across the princess’s cheeks. “We still need to tell my dad too..”
Alastor’s ears flicked down. “Ugh… Do we have to? Already?” He grumbled the question, the movements of his hand halting.
To be honest, he didn’t want anyone to know. This was his family, and he didn’t want a single resident of hell to intervene with that. Ever since he had smelled the change in her, his attention had even pulled him from his radio show. The Radio Demon simply had no interest in giving his time or energy to anyone but her.
“Yes, Alastor. I want to tell my dad, he is going to be so happy! Maybe he will even start to like you more?”
“His affection is an unnecessary requirement for me.”
“Requirement?” She raised an eyebrow at him, snorting at his choice of word. “Ok, look. It may not mean anything to you but it does to me. I want you two to get along or in LEAST try?”
Alastor sighed. “Fine…”
She smiled, leaning up and pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Good, then it’s settled.”

Three days later and the two future parents were sitting in the lavishing lounge of Lucifer’s castle. They had planned ahead, informing the king that they would come over and in result he had prepared all his daughter’s favorite desserts. On the golden coffee table were trays of cakes, tea cups of sweet teas, and a few sandwich bites.
“Oh I’m SO happy you came to visit, my little duckling! Have you come to ask me to come back and help with your hotel?! You know daddy misses you, sweetie!” He cooed, giving her another big hug on the couch.
Alastor’s eye twitched, his smile snarling as every muscle in his body locked up from the exchange. He knew that he shouldn’t be upset, but frankly, he couldn’t help it. Especially now, he didn’t like ANYBODY touching her, family or not. But, he sucked it up and remained painfully quiet. After all, he promised to try and play nice.
“Hahaha.. Umm.. Well? No?” She giggled nervously, trying to be carful not to spill the tea in her hand. “I actually have some news for you…?”
Lucifer let go and smiled up at her. “Well! You know I’m all ears!”
Taking a deep breath in, she placed the cup down, then scooted closer to Alastor. “Well… Dad?” Charlie placed her hand on his. “We are having a baby!”
Lucifer’s eyes widened and his jaw dropped. “You…” His voice broke and a few tears welled in his eyes. “Really?!”
She nodded, keeping the same soft smile on her face.
“Oh! My baby girl!” He once again pulled her into a big hug, his hand stroking down her hair with dramatic sniffles.
The static hitched higher as Charlie was pulled away from him, the snarl on Alastor’s face growing as he forced himself to remain still.
“Oh my little apple pie! My baby duckling is leaving my nest!” Lucifer squeezed a bit tighter.
Charlie giggled and hugged him back, her own tears welling in her eyes. “Dad, you’re going to make me cry too!”
Alastor’s claws twitched on his lap. Already there was far too much emotions going on in the room, and frankly, it was horribly uncomfortable for him.
Both daughter and father began to sob happily in each other’s arms, neither one of them seeming willing to let go.
“I’m so happy for you sweetie! I’ll be here for you and your little duckling every step of the way! Whatever you need!” He hiccuped with teary eyes.
“I know..” She sniffled back.
Lucifer finally let go and after giving her a kiss on the forehead, he looked at Alastor. “And YOU!” He pointed at him. “Oh, I don’t know if I want to give you a hug or drop you in a pit of poisonous snakes! But come here!” He cooed, standing up and moving over. “I’ll give you a hug anyways!”
“Aaawe!” Charlie sniffled even more, watching her dad finally hug her boyfriend.
Alastor stiffened and the static crackled wildly. “Unnecessary… I can assure you, I can see without the invading hug that you’re happy….”
“Happy?! Hahaha!” Lucifer’s voice suddenly drops into a demonic whisper, eyes flashing hot red as he pulls him into a hug anyways. “If you ever hurt my daughter or make her cry, I will see it personally that you have an excruciating death. Just because I can’t harm you, doesn’t mean I don’t have Satan on speed dile, deer.” Then he let go with bubbly laughter.
Charlie smiled happily, unaware of the quiet threat. “You two are getting along already! I think I’m going to cry again!”
Alastor’s eye twitched, his fur and hair bristled slightly. “Please don’t….”
“Oh! Anything for you my precious girl! Now! Let’s celebrate! I’ll get a reservation at the finest restaurant!” Luicfer said already pulling out his phone.
