🐯Tiger Bitten by Fox 🦊

Summary:

Wine is an Omega with a sharp tongue, a terrifying reputation, and absolutely no patience for nonsense.

Lal is an Alpha who somehow survives on chaos, bad decisions, and getting on Wine's nerves.

Everyone in the company is convinced they hate each other.

Unfortunately, neither of them is quite sure that's true anymore.

Office gossip, late nights, accidental feelings, and one very judgmental cat.

Work Text:

Rumors had been circulating around the company for months.

No one understood why Wine put up with Lal.

The Omega was known for her terrible temper.

The Alpha was known for surviving entirely on chaos.

On the other side of the open-plan office, several employees were already watching Wine's office.

As usual.

"Is Lal in Wine's office again?"

"Has been for twenty minutes."

"Is she working?"

"No."

"Then what's she doing?"

"Annoying Wine."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

The new employee frowned.

"I don't get it."

"No one does."

"Isn't Lal always the one getting called out?"

"Exactly."

"And she still comes back?"

"Every day."

"Voluntarily?"

"Voluntarily."

The new employee sat in silence for a few seconds.

"That Alpha is weird."

A coworker looked up from her screen.

"Wine is the company's Tigress."

She discreetly pointed toward the Omega's office.

"She makes interns tremble."

"That bad?"

"Last week she spent fifteen minutes correcting a report without stopping to breathe."

"Oh."

"Her comments are always relevant."

"But?"

"She has absolutely no tact."

The new employee glanced back at the office.

"And Lal works with her?"

"Lal is the only Alpha who survives more than ten minutes in that office."

"She's even a willing participant."

"That's the most concerning part."

Another employee looked up.

"You know what's even more concerning?"

"What?"

"When Lal isn't around, Wine asks where she is."

Silence.

"Seriously?"

"It happens."

"And?"

"It usually ends badly for Lal."

The new employee frowned again.

"I still don't understand."

"What?"

"Why does Lal always come back?"

A coworker shrugged.

"Good question."

"In ten minutes, Wine's going to tear apart her report."

"Lal will smile."

"Wine will get even more annoyed."

"Lal will smile even more."

"And tomorrow they'll do it all over again."

The new employee remained silent for a few moments.

"That's weird."

"We know."

A coworker sighed.

"How long has this been going on?"

"Eight months."

"Eight months of what?"

"Exactly."

Through the glass wall of her office, Wine suddenly looked up from her screen.

"Lal."

"Yes, Tigress?"

"Why are you still here?"

"Because you haven't kicked me out yet."

The new employee watched the scene.

Then his coworkers.

Then the scene again.

"See?"

"Told you."

"No one understands."

And yet...

No one had ever seen them spend more than ten minutes in the same room without arguing.

Lal always found an excuse to linger near Wine's office.

Wine always found a reason not to have her removed.

No one really knew why.

Neither did they.

Or at least, that's what they claimed.

"You're going to get yourself fired."

"You say that every Monday, Tigress."

Wine looked up from her screen.

"Stop calling me that."

"Calling you what?"

"Tigress."

"It suits you, though."

"Out."

Lal smiled.

Then settled into the chair across from the desk.

As if she owned the place.

"I'll take that as an invitation."

Wine clenched her jaw.

Lal gave her most innocent smile.

The kind of smile that usually announced an incoming disaster.

And Wine hated admitting that she found it adorable.

Lal was probably the strangest Alpha Wine had ever met.

Goofy.

Messy.

Completely incapable of being serious for more than five minutes.

But also strangely caring.

The year before, Wine had forgotten her suppressants at home.

A stupid mistake she hadn't realized until the middle of the day.

Before she could even figure out a solution, Lal had disappeared.

For nearly an hour.

Then she reappeared with a pharmacy bag and dropped it onto Wine's desk.

"Here."

"What's this?"

"What do you think?"

Wine froze.

"How did you know?"

"You could smell the stress from three floors away."

"Why do you always do this?"

"Do what?"

"Take care of me."

Lal shrugged.

"Because nobody else does."

Then she left.

As if it were nothing.

As if crossing half the city for a coworker she spent most of her time provoking was perfectly normal.

The next day, Wine thanked her.

In her own way.

By annotating every single mistake in Lal's report during the team meeting.

Lal received twenty-seven corrections.

And an iced coffee discreetly placed on her desk an hour later.

No one connected the dots.

Except them.

That was their dynamic.

For months now.

That was their dynamic.

For months.

Wine was working late that evening.

As usual.

Most of the employees had already gone home.

The lights in the neighboring offices were off.

Silence filled the open-plan workspace.

Well...

Almost.

"You know it's probably illegal to work this late, right?"

Wine looked up.

Lal was sprawled across a nearby chair.

As if she'd appeared out of thin air.

Or had somehow grown in the corner of the office.

Honestly, Wine was no longer sure there was a difference.

"Why are you still here?"

"I have work."

"So do I."

"You're watching cat videos."

"It's research."

Wine sighed.

Lal smiled.

The Alpha was never far away.

Never.

Not when Wine skipped meals.

Not when she worked until ten at night.

Not when her stress sent her pheromones climbing.

Lal always appeared.

With coffee.

Food.

Or some ridiculous excuse.

"Don't you have a life?"

"I do."

"Then go live it."

"Impossible."

"Why?"

Lal folded her arms behind her head.

"Because my favorite coworker is still at the office."

Wine immediately felt her ears grow warm.

She hated that.

Hated how effortlessly Lal could throw her off balance.

The worst part?

They had history.

A history they had promised to keep simple.

No feelings.

No complications.

No consequences.

A promise that became a little harder to keep every day.

"I already told you. Not at work, Lal."

The Alpha pouted.

"There's nobody here."

"That's not an argument."

"It's an excellent argument."

Wine shot her a look.

Lal immediately raised both hands in surrender.

"I'm only talking about helping you relax."

"Lal."

"What?"

"You know exactly what you're doing."

A smile appeared on the Alpha's lips.

The kind of smile that made Wine want to strangle her.

Or kiss her.

Sometimes both.

"Maybe."

Wine let out a long sigh.

"You're unbearable."

"And yet, you keep working late."

"How is that relevant?"

"If you went home at a reasonable hour, I could stop worrying about you."

This time, Wine said nothing.

Because beneath the jokes.

Beneath the teasing.

Beneath that fox-like grin.

There was always this.

Lal cared about her.

And that was probably what made her the most dangerous.

The Alpha didn't add anything else.

She knew Wine well enough to understand that she wouldn't leave until her work was finished.

So Lal waited.

A few minutes.

Then a few more.

Until her head slowly tipped back against the chair.

And she drifted off to sleep.

Eventually, Wine looked up from her screen.

A small smile tugged at her lips.

Lal had always possessed that strange ability to fall asleep anywhere.

In meeting rooms.

During taxi rides.

Once, even in the archive room.

Wine picked up a file.

Then dropped it onto her desk a little harder than necessary.

The sound echoed through the office.

Lal immediately jolted awake.

"Huh?"

Still half asleep, she blinked several times.

"Are you done?"

Wine closed her laptop.

"Yes."

"Finally."

The Alpha sat up and stretched.

"Are we going to my place?"

Wine raised an eyebrow.

"Your place?"

"Your bed hurts my back."

"You sleep perfectly fine in it."

"That's a lie."

"Lal."

"I'm suffering tremendously."

Wine rolled her eyes.

Lal gave her a tired smile.

A soft smile.

A rare one.

For a second, Wine wanted to move closer.

To press a kiss against her cheek.

Just one.

But she stopped herself.

Instead, she grabbed her keys.

"Come on, Tigress."

"Stop calling me that."

"Never."

And despite herself, Wine smiled.

When they finally arrived at Wine's apartment, the first one to greet them was Mooky.

The cat raced across the living room at full speed.

"Hello, handsome."

Wine immediately raised an eyebrow.

"She's female."

"She knows I mean it affectionately."

Mooky completely ignored that statement.

Wine clapped her hands softly.

Immediately, the cat jumped into her arms.

She buried her nose against Wine's neck.

Sniffed her scent.

Then started purring.

Lal watched the scene with an expression of deep offense.

"She only purrs for you."

"Yes."

"I spend time with her too."

"I know."

"I give her treats."

"I know."

"I deserve at least a little favoritism."

Wine smiled.

"You're jealous of a cat."

"Yes."

No hesitation.

No embarrassment.

Just a perfectly sincere answer.

Eventually, Mooky climbed down from Wine's arms with all the dignity of a queen.

Then walked away without even glancing at Lal.

"Incredible."

Wine shook her head before disappearing into the bathroom.

"I'll be back."

A few minutes later, she was removing her makeup in front of the mirror.

The foundation.

The lipstick.

The long workday.

Everything slowly disappeared.

She kept her glasses on.

And as always, Lal thought she looked softer this way.

More approachable.

Less like the Tigress.

Or maybe...

Just more like Wine.

In the living room, Lal had made herself comfortable on the couch.

Mooky was now sprawled across her lap.

The cat seemed to have decided that Lal was an acceptable cushion.

The Alpha gently scratched under her chin.

"You know, Mooky..."

One yellow eye opened.

"Your mom really tested my patience today."

Meow.

"Yeah, I think it was cruel too."

Meow.

"Exactly."

Lal nodded gravely.

"And then she wonders why I stick to her all day."

Mooky yawned.

Long and dramatic.

Then curled up even tighter.

"Thank you for your support."

The cat immediately closed her eyes again.

Lal sighed.

"That's right. Use me as a mattress."

Just like your mother.

At that moment, Wine emerged from the bathroom.

The Omega had traded her work clothes for a simple nightgown.

Nothing extraordinary.

Nothing deliberate.

And yet...

Lal immediately forgot what she had been talking about.

Wine walked calmly into the living room.

As if she hadn't noticed the stare fixed on her.

As if she had no idea what kind of effect she had.

A few minutes ago, Lal had been having a serious conversation with a cat.

Now she seemed incapable of forming a coherent sentence.

Wine stopped beside the couch.

An amused smile curved her lips.

"What is it?"

Lal blinked.

"Nothing."

"Liar."

The Omega bent down and gently picked up Mooky.

"Come on."

Meow.

"Back to your bed."

The cat protested weakly before allowing herself to be placed on her favorite cushion.

Then Wine turned all her attention back to the Alpha.

Who still hadn't looked away.

"Did you lose your tongue?"

This time, Lal laughed.

A little nervously.

"Maybe."

"That's new."

"Don't make fun of me."

"Why not?"

Wine shot her a satisfied look before turning toward her bedroom.

Lal watched her walk away.

Then stood up.

Instinctively.

As though following Wine had become the most natural thing in the world.

"Are you coming?" the Omega asked without even turning around.

Lal's smile immediately widened.

"Always, Tigress."

Lal's smile widened even further.

"Always, Tigress."

The moment the door closed behind them, Wine found herself pressed gently but firmly against the wood.

Lal's body settled against hers, one hand braced beside her head.

"I've been behaving all evening, Omega," she murmured, her voice rough with restraint.

Wine rolled her eyes.

Then lightly pinched the Alpha's cheek.

"What? Do you want a reward?"

"Ouch..."

Lal rubbed her cheek with mock offense.

"This is abuse."

"You'll survive."

An amused smile tugged at Wine's lips.

Then she stepped closer and pressed a kiss to the exact cheek she'd just pinched.

For a second, Lal went completely still.

As though that simple kiss had unsettled her more than every sharp comment Wine had thrown at her all day.

Wine took advantage of the moment to grab the collar of her shirt.

Her breathing was already a little shorter.

"Shut up..."

Lal didn't need to be told twice.

She captured Wine's lips in a heated kiss, her hands slowly tracing the fabric of the nightgown as she drew her closer.

Within moments, she was kneeling in front of her.

With a smooth motion, she parted Wine's legs and pushed the light fabric up toward her hips.

A wolfish grin appeared on her lips.

"No panties..." she breathed, almost reverently.

"Naughty Tigress."

Wine flushed deeply, her back pressed against the door.

Normally, she had perfect control over her pheromones, even in private.

But with Lal...

That was impossible.

A warm, sweet wave spread through the air, soft and intoxicating, betraying her arousal.

Lal took a deep breath, her eyes half-lidded, as though intoxicated by the scent.

A low, appreciative groan escaped her.

"Fuck, Wine..."

Without hesitation, she lowered her head and pressed her mouth against her.

Her tongue moved slowly, deliberately, savoring every reaction.

At first, she teased with patient strokes, before growing more eager, gently sucking at the most sensitive spot.

Wine muffled a moan, one hand burying itself in Lal's hair to hold on.

Her thighs trembled against the Alpha's shoulders.

The cold door against her back contrasted sharply with the wet heat of Lal's tongue as she devoured her without restraint.

Lal groaned against her, the vibration sending a shiver through her sensitive flesh.

For a moment, she looked up, her eyes bright and slightly wild.

"You smell so good when you lose control..."

Then she dove back in, deeper and more intensely, determined to make the Omega tremble against that door.

Her tongue circled, licked, and sucked with almost possessive hunger.

She kept Wine's thighs spread firmly apart, fingers digging into her soft skin as she consumed her.

Wine bit down on her lip to suppress a louder moan, but it was useless.

Her hips moved on their own against Lal's mouth, searching for more friction.

Her fingers tightened in the Alpha's hair, tugging lightly, drawing another satisfied growl from Lal.

"Lal... ah..."

The Omega could feel her legs shaking.

Her pheromones now filled the entire room, heavy, sweet, almost intoxicating.

Lal seemed completely lost in them, as if she couldn't stop.

She slid two fingers inside her without warning, immediately curling them toward that precise spot that always made Wine unravel.

Her mouth never paused, her tongue focused on her swollen clit, sucking harder.

Wine threw her head back against the door with a dull thud.

"I'm going to... Lal, I..."

The Alpha didn't slow down.

If anything, she increased the pace of her fingers, perfectly synchronized with the movements of her tongue.

Pleasure hit Wine like a violent wave.

She came with a strangled cry, her thighs tightening around Lal's face as her entire body shook against the door.

Lal continued to lick her gently through her orgasm, prolonging the pleasure until Wine became too sensitive, trembling and breathless.

Only then did she slowly rise to her feet, lips glistening, a smile both victorious and tender on her face.

She kissed Wine deeply, letting her taste her own pleasure on her tongue.

"Who's lost her tongue now, Omega?" she murmured against her lips, voice rough and teasing.

Still panting, Wine grabbed Lal's face and kissed her harder, almost angrily, because desire still burned fiercely inside her.

"Bed. Now."

With a decisive shove, she pushed the Alpha backward.

Lal stumbled toward the bed and landed sitting on the mattress.

Her shirt was already open, and both her pants and boxer briefs had slipped down to her ankles, restricting her movements.

Wine stepped between her legs, taking control of the situation with a single look.

"You talk way too much."

Lal smiled.

A wide, slightly insolent smile despite her vulnerable position.

Her eyes sparkled with excitement and amusement.

"Then make me shut up, Tigress," she replied in a low, provocative voice.

Wine didn't need to be told twice.

She climbed onto the bed, straddling Lal in one fluid motion, and pushed her fully onto her back.

Her hands slid over the Alpha's chest, slowly traveling down her toned stomach and lower, to where Lal was already visibly aroused.

Wine's fingers wrapped around her hard, burning length.

She was thick, throbbing, already damp at the tip.

The Omega began stroking her with exasperating slowness, squeezing just enough.

"You talk far too much for someone completely at my mercy," Wine murmured.

With one smooth movement, she pulled off her nightgown and tossed it onto the floor.

Completely naked, she rubbed herself against Lal, sliding her soaked cunt along the Alpha's cock without ever letting it enter her.

Just slow, provocative strokes that coated Lal in her desire.

Lal groaned, her hips lifting instinctively.

"Wine..."

"I like seeing you like this," the Omega replied with a satisfied smile.

She increased the movement of her hips slightly, rubbing harder, letting the tip brush against her entrance with every pass without ever fully sinking down.

Her pheromones flooded the room, sweet and powerful.

Lal's, on the other hand, remained restrained and controlled.

The Alpha always made sure not to overwhelm Wine.

Lal clenched her jaw, her hands tightening around Wine's thighs.

She endured it for a few more seconds...

Then, in one fluid and powerful movement, she reversed the situation.

With a sharp thrust of her hips and a twist of her body, she rolled Wine onto her back.

A second later, the Alpha was above her, pinning the Omega's wrists against the mattress.

"My turn," Lal growled, her eyes dark with desire.

She spread Wine's thighs apart with one knee and positioned herself between them.

With a slow but deep thrust, she buried herself completely inside her, drawing a long moan from the Omega.

"Fuck... Lal..."

The Alpha began moving, slowly at first, savoring the tight heat surrounding her, then harder and harder.

Every thrust made Wine's body tremble beneath her.

Lal kissed her neck, leaving possessive marks behind, nibbled at her ear, while her hands roamed over the Omega's ass, gripping firmly to pull her closer.

Sometimes one hand slid to the small of her back, arching her deeper into each thrust.

Wine let herself be completely overwhelmed.

The sensations were too intense.

Too good.

Her moans became more and more uncontrollable.

Then, in a ragged breath:

"Pull out..."

Lal stopped immediately, her entire body tensing as concern replaced desire in her eyes.

She froze, still buried inside her, perfectly motionless.

"Did I hurt you?" she asked, breathless and worried.

Wine looked up at the Alpha, still panting.

"No..."

Lal didn't understand right away.

She slowly withdrew, a worried frown creasing her brow.

The moment she was fully out, Wine flushed deeply and looked away for a second before murmuring:

"What you wanted to do last time..."

The Omega pushed herself up onto her elbows, watching the surprised look on Lal's face.

Lal blinked.

Then a relieved, slightly shaky smile appeared on her lips.

"You scared me, idiot..."

"You're the one who got carried away," Wine replied with a teasing little smile, still short of breath.

Lal let out a soft laugh.

"I still want to... if you're sure."

Wine nodded before looking at the Alpha with amusement.

Lal was still half-dressed: her shirt hanging open from her shoulders, her pants and boxer briefs tangled around her ankles.

"At least take your clothes off properly."

Lal obeyed quickly, getting rid of the rest of her clothes with a few impatient movements.

Once she was completely naked, her attention returned entirely to Wine.

The Omega moved onto all fours on the bed before lowering herself onto her forearms, naturally arching her back.

The mating position.

The most intimate posture for an Omega.

Even if Lal wasn't going to bite her, the position filled her with a deep sense of trust and willing vulnerability.

Lal grabbed a pillow and gently slid it beneath Wine's stomach for comfort.

Then she settled behind her, pressing reverent kisses along her back, the curve of her waist, and her shoulder blades.

Her hands slowly caressed the Omega's hips and sides, soothing and possessive all at once.

Then, with agonizing slowness, she entered her, sinking deep into her wet warmth.

A long moan escaped Wine.

"Lal..."

The Alpha immediately released her calming pheromones—warm, comforting, reassuring—wrapping around Wine like an invisible caress.

She leaned completely over her, her chest pressed against the Omega's back as she began moving gently and deeply.

Her lips settled against Wine's nape, just beside her scent gland, leaving soft, affectionate marks there without ever biting.

"You're perfect like this..." Lal murmured against her skin, her voice rough with both pleasure and emotion.

Lal continued her slow, deep rhythm, one hand sliding beneath Wine to touch her with practiced precision.

Wine came quickly, trembling with spasms as she buried a moan into the pillow.

Lal didn't stop right away, extending her pleasure with lazy, lingering movements.

Then she finally let go.

Her pheromones suddenly bloomed, powerful and warm.

Burnt sandalwood.

Leather.

Smoked caramel.

A heavy, possessive scent, unmistakably Alpha, filled the entire room.

Wine shivered violently.

"Lal... that's too strong..."

"You feel that?" Lal whispered against her neck, her voice rough. "That's for you."

Her pheromones thickened even further, clinging to Wine's skin, making her even more sensitive and responsive.

Her body reacted despite herself, tightening around Lal.

"You get so wet when I mark you like this..." Lal murmured with a teasing smile as she continued moving. "You like my scent, don't you, Tigress?"

She gently nipped at her nape, reinforcing her scent against Wine's gland while keeping her chest pressed firmly against her back.

Wine was completely saturated with it.

Drunk on her scent.

Lal's pace increased slightly, her thrusts growing deeper and less controlled.

Wine rolled her hips back to meet her, deliberately tightening around her.

Her thighs trembled violently.

Her fingers clenched in the sheets.

"Oh..."

The sound escaped Wine in a broken breath.

Lal answered with nothing more than a rough groan.

"Mmh..."

Neither of them spoke anymore.

Only their ragged breathing filled the room.

Lal gripped Wine's hips tighter, resting her forehead between her shoulder blades.

Her pheromones became nearly overwhelming.

Wine felt her entire body grow hot.

Her skin damp with sweat.

Her body pulsing and tightening around Lal.

With one final powerful thrust, Lal came with a long, low groan, buried deep inside her.

Her body tightened violently against Wine's, trembling with the force of it.

Wine let out a sharp cry, her back arching to its limit, eyes squeezed shut.

A violent shiver ran through her entire body.

Her legs nearly gave out beneath her.

She panted loudly, completely overwhelmed.

For a long moment, they remained like that.

Trembling.

Clinging to each other.

Their bodies still shaken by the aftershocks of pleasure.

This was Lal's favorite part.

When Wine became soft, clingy, and affectionate after an orgasm.

They slowly rolled onto their sides, staying wrapped around each other.

Lal slipped an arm around Wine's waist and pulled her close, chest against back.

Wine immediately searched for her hand, intertwining their fingers tightly, as though she needed the contact.

Lal buried her face in the Omega's neck and inhaled deeply.

Sweet.

Lightly floral.

Comforting.

Still carrying traces of desire.

She could smell Wine's scent mixing with her own, creating something deeply intimate.

Wine squeezed her hand more tightly, her breathing still uneven.

"Lal..." she murmured, her voice small and hoarse.

Lal smiled against her neck and placed a tender kiss there.

"I'm here," she whispered simply.

Wine snuggled even closer, subtly arching her back to remain connected for as long as possible, her body pressed firmly against Lal's.

The next morning, sunlight filtered softly through the curtains.

Wine groaned as she felt a warm, heavy weight pressed against her back.

Lal was completely wrapped around her, one arm draped over her waist, one leg tangled with hers, her face buried in the crook of her neck.

Wine tried to move.

The Alpha didn't budge an inch.

"You're heavy," she muttered, her voice still thick with sleep.

She nudged Lal with her elbow.

A little harder than necessary.

Lal let out a startled yelp as she lost her balance.

A second later, she tumbled backward off the bed with a loud thud.

"Ouch!"

Wine rolled onto her side, a mocking smile tugging at her lips despite her half-closed eyes.

"Good morning to you too."

Lal was sprawled across the floor, hair a mess, wearing nothing but a pair of boxer briefs.

She sat up, rubbing her elbow.

"You really have a violent way of waking up, Tigress..."

At that moment, Mooky jumped onto the bed and immediately began meowing loudly right beside Wine's ear.

"Meow! Meow! Meow!"

"Yes, yes, we know. You're hungry," Wine sighed, rubbing a hand over her face.

Lal got to her feet with a soft laugh and sat down on the edge of the bed.

She rested a hand on Wine's bare thigh.

"We're going to be late, aren't we?" she asked, still sounding half asleep.

Wine glanced at the alarm clock and swore under her breath.

"Shit. We're already late."

She sat up abruptly, which only made Lal laugh harder.

"Want me to make coffee while you shower?" the Alpha offered with a gentle smile.

Wine looked at her for a moment before glancing away, slightly embarrassed by the quiet tenderness of the morning.

"...Yeah. Thanks."

Lal leaned down and pressed a quick kiss to her shoulder before standing.

"As you wish, Omega."

Mooky continued meowing while pacing circles around the bed, clearly outraged that nobody was prioritizing her needs.

Lal disappeared into the kitchen.

Wine remained seated on the edge of the bed for a few seconds.

Mooky immediately climbed onto her lap.

"You judging me too?"

Meow.

"Traitor."

The cat merely purred.

A few minutes later, Wine emerged from the bathroom.

Her hair was still slightly damp.

She adjusted the collar of her T-shirt in the hallway mirror.

Then she sighed.

"I have marks all over my neck."

Lal immediately looked up from the kitchen.

"Oh."

Wine shot her a look.

The Alpha suddenly appeared much less confident.

"Sorry..."

"You got carried away."

"A little."

"A little?"

Lal winced.

"Okay. A lot."

Wine stared at her for several seconds.

Honestly, she wasn't sure whether she wanted to scold her...

Or pinch her cheeks.

Because whenever Lal looked guilty like that, she became ridiculously cute.

And it was deeply irritating.

"Go wash up."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Right now."

"I'm going."

Lal immediately abandoned her coffee and headed for the bathroom.

Wine shook her head.

Hopeless.

The smell of coffee already drifted through the apartment.

A few minutes later, Lal returned.

Her hair still damp.

A perfectly tailored gray suit.

A black dress shirt.

Clothes that had gradually accumulated at Wine's apartment over the months.

At first, it had been a forgotten shirt.

Then a jacket.

Then an entire outfit.

These days, part of Lal's wardrobe practically lived there.

The Alpha looked completely relaxed.

As though she hadn't spent the night here for the third time this week.

Wine sipped her coffee while trying to hide the marks on her neck behind the collar of her T-shirt.

"Did you feed Mooky?"

"Of course."

"Thanks."

Lal froze.

Then slowly walked closer.

Wine watched her suspiciously.

"What?"

The Alpha leaned down and pressed a kiss to her neck.

Right beside one of the marks.

"I'm sorry."

Wine immediately caught a familiar scent.

She narrowed her eyes.

"You used my body wash."

"Yes."

"Lal."

"What?"

"I bought you your own for a reason."

"I know."

"Then why are you using mine?"

Lal shrugged.

"Because I like that one."

"That's exactly why I bought you a different one."

"Yours smells better."

Wine rolled her eyes.

"It's the same scent."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

The Alpha stepped even closer.

"Yours smells like you."

Wine fell silent.

Lal gave her a satisfied smile.

And immediately, the Omega regretted asking.

"Drink your coffee and shut up."

Lal burst out laughing.

Across the living room, Mooky briefly lifted her head.

Then immediately put it back down.

Clearly accustomed to their nonsense.

Notes:

Thank you for reading😉

This was my own take on Lal and Wine.

I absolutely adore this series, and JingJing and Jan are incredible in these roles. Their chemistry inspired me to write this little story.

I hope you enjoyed it 🥰
