Nami
You and Nami walk around, noticing a big sign that says "COMPATIBILITY TEST!” for 1000 berries. You stare at it, intrigued.
“Do you actually want to take that?” She asks and you nod. “They’re a total scam.” You continue to stare at her despite the fact, eyes shiny; and she caves. “Alright, let’s go.”
You two go over and she manages to haggle the price down to 600, impressive. Once the money is given, the test is done.
Low
“Hmmmm, it seems your compatability… It’s low.”
“Wh-” You’re interrupted by Nami slamming her hands on the table.
“WHAT!” She’s already furious. “What do you mean ‘low compatibility’!? We’re perfect for each other!” She continues to cuss until finally calming down and grabbing your hand. “We don’t have to deal with this.” The ginger storms off with you and you start to feel guilty over it.
“Sorry, I made you waste the money.” Once you’re far enough away she’s almost fully calm.
“Waste?” She opens her hand to 1500 berries, taken while the tester was distracted by the yelling. Nami winks at your expression. “This is better off used on us. Let’s go!”
You both end up on a shopping spree to make up for the low result, and you hold her at night and say how perfect she is for you the moment you catch the sign of her faltering.
High
“I can’t believe this, you two are practically made for each other!” The tester yells in shock. Nami gets a big smile on her face.
“See, what were you worried about?” She gives you a peck on the lips.
‘When did I say I was worried..?’ You were more curious than anything, but go along with it. “I was just worried I was going to end up low with you..” She stares. “.. because you’re so beautiful..” Stareee. “.. and smart and the love of my life.” A satisfied smile forms on her face.
“Don’t worry about that anymore.” She hugs you happily. “You’re amazing too. Cmon, let's go.” She holds your hand. Once you’re far from the fortune teller she opens the other hand to 600 berries, the amount she had paid.
“You stole it back?”
“They didn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know.” She states with her tongue out playfully.
Robin
You and Robin walk around the night market, she stops and you stop with her. She’s staring at something. Your eyes trail to where she’s looking and see a tent with a big sign labeled “COMPATABILITY TEST”.
“You wanna go in?” You ask and she hums in agreement. “I’m actually pretty curious too.”
“I wonder if it’s real or random, either way is interesting right?” You chat while heading inside.
Low
“Ahh..” The tester’s voice goes solemn and you start to get anxious. “You look nice together but your compatibility is actually-“ They suddenly feel something blooming on their leg and their stomach gets punched. “OUGH! What..?” They look down and what punched them is gone, replaced with a single eye. They look up and see the same eye on Robin, a sinister but elegant smile on her face. Their face goes pale. “I-It’s.. good! It’s good!” You’re confused.
“You talked like you were going to say something negative, though?”
“I just remembered something sad, that’s all.” You two leave the tent and you look pleased, turning to Robin with a smile. She speaks.
“It’s good that our compatibility is high.” You nod.
“Mhm, and I’m glad I have a girlfriend who cares enough about me to scare someone.” Her eyes widen but turn into a smile as she giggles.
“Yes, you do.”
High
“I can’t believe this! Your compatibility is the highest I’ve ever seen!” The tester is shocked and you feel prideful.
“Of course it is.” You and your girlfriend say at the same time, then look at each other happily. You leave the tent in a good mood.
“It’s quite obvious we get along, they must’ve based it simply on that.” Robin explains.
“Maybe, but I think even if our compatibility was low that I wouldn’t care. You’re the one for me.” Her cheeks tint and she nods.
“Yes! Fate is hardly enough to stop me~” You give her a small peck on the cheek and she laughs.
Uta
You and your girlfriend take a break from her fans by walking around outside the concert venue, a cloak to disguise herself.
“People put tons of stuff here.” She’s in awe.
“You’re popular, it’s a good opportunity.” While you walk she tugs on her arm.
“Look! They even have one of those fortune teller things!” You look to see a tent with a sign saying “COMPATABILITY TEST.” “Let’s go check it out!” She adjusts her cloak and pulls you inside.
Low
“Hmm..” The tester stares at you two, their face turning grim. “You two have an extremely low compatibility.” You can see the silhouette of her hair drooping down.
“What? Are you sure?” She asks and the tester nods.
“I’m sorry.” She clenches her fists. Then walks outside with you.
“You know it’s not real, right?” Your girlfriend can be emotional at times, you don’t want this to bum her out.
“I know.. but it doesn’t feel good to hear. What made them think we have a low compatibility? Is my cloak too solemn? I just didn’t want to stand out..” She’s really bummed anyway. You pull her into an alleyway and hug her tightly.
“Even if it was real, or they thought it was real, we’re still together and we’re going to stay together.” She’s stunned for a moment but hugs you back.
“Mkay!” You cheered her up.
The next time you two go out, she adds a cute little pin to her cloak.
High
The tester's eyes go wide. “I-I can’t believe it! You two have an extremely high compatibility! The highest I’ve seen!” Uta’s eyes go wide and she grins in pride before turning to you.
“Look! Even they know it!” She’s basically shining out of her disguise, not that you mind when she’s so cheery.
“Yup!” You agree with her and she hums happily while walking out with you, having to do everything she can to avoid full-on singing in the crowded market.
Once she’s back at the concert, she adds an extra happy song as an encore.
