Chapter Text
Lemon Tart Cookie couldn’t even remember how many times it had been since the first crack in her dough. There were only faint memories of a place of sweets from so many years ago, like a grave for someone she couldn’t recall the name of. But none of that mattered now, as there was only pain that filled her body to where it had almost become more familiar than being without. Crack, a dislocated shoulder. Crack, her legs being tied together into many unnatural shapes. Crack, her lower half being reduced to crumbs. There were times that she didn’t know about due to… She couldn't bear to say that monster’s name aloud. She had no control over it, he simply decided when to take control of her metaphorical and literal strings whenever he felt like it. The worst part of her torture was the inability to die when he first put that shard of godforsaken deceit into her very soul and stuck her face into this stupid smile. No matter how many times he had broken her body, he put it back together simply because once was simply never enough. She still considered herself one of the luckiest of the Animations, the only one sane amongst the pile of discarded works of art. She knew of the horrors that the jester subjected everyone else to, yet they go about thinking that their pain was only love others could not understand. She thought that it would be better when he had disappeared out of nowhere, but it had only left eternal silence in each tent once the mistakes were left to rot.
