"Hmm..." a hum came from the grey haired man. He was currently sat at a table with two other men he was close with. The man's name was Alhaitham. the two other men? Cyno and Tighnari. Tighnari had pale skin with a black bob with a green streak in his bangs, his black fox like ears being quite a noticable trait of his. the man next to him, Cyno. Cyno had sun kissed skin with silver hair that was around medium length. Cyno was a high ranked man in the hunting ranks, known for capturing fairytales. Faes, witches, monsters, talking animals, everything you could name out of classic childhood fairy tales. All of teyvat had been infested with fairytale creatures, there wasn't really any reason as too why. many legends say, a fairytale creature and a human reproduced long ago in teyvat and fairytales scattered. After a while, some fairytale creatures started terrorizing the public and fairytale hunters were established. Alhaitham's parents, before a tragic accident occurred that caused Alhaitham to live with his grandmother, were in fact fairytale hunters. Alhaitham, being quite interested in it, decided to read up on it. His parents asked if he wanted to join the fairytale hunters but he politely declined. after the accident occurred, he lived with his grandmother. he read up more and more about the fairytale hunters. Once his grandmother passed, and after he planned her funeral, he finally decided to join. he got accepted immediately due to passing all the requirements.
Tighnari, despite being a fairytale creature, joined after relentless questions about joining. he originally was a forest ranger but he gave the hunting a try. he wasn't too high up in ranks, but wasn't too low either. Cyno and Tighnari had already met previously, due to their masters being friends.
The three sat a table, being informed of a quite a mischief causing fairy causing travelers to get lost in the woods. despite Tighnari being a forest ranger, his rank was too low to be able to hunt this faerie down. Alhaitham was eventually put to the task, getting a long list of information about the forest from Tighnari. Alhaitham was eventually on his way, not bothering to say goodbye due to his interest being high due to what the leader had said about this fairy. The fairy had tanned skin with blond hair that was let loose and red eyes that just spelt mischief. Alhaitham made his way too the forest, it didn't take him long to find the exact fairy he was looking for. The fairy was currently sitting at a wooden makeshift desk, with a paper that had been covered in ink. it seemed as if the fairy was making a blueprint for a new house in the forest. surely this can't be the same fairy they described to Alhaitham? But the description and the faerie's looks were just too similar. The fairy finally looked up and met eyes with Alhaitham. Alhaitham could've sworn he'd seen those exact eyes before. It couldn't be. He swore that he's never actually seen or hell, even met a fairy. But when he truly looked at the man, he felt as if he had... met him before.
The fairy raised an eyebrow in confusion, the grey haired man was staring and he was starting to get a bit annoyed. Had this man never been taught proper manners?
