He was here he had finally arrived at unstable university. He got out of his purple jeep wrangler his long purple curls swaying in the wind, and his horns shining. He opened the back of he car
“Damn, I didn’t know there were this many boxes ill have to make a few trips” Wemmbu grabbed the first 2 boxes stacking and holding them then grabbed a lamp with his tail making his way up the building to his dorm
Wemmbu groaned looked down at his paper. He knew his dorm would be placed different but the 5th floor, with no elevator, now that was just torture.
Wemmbu made his ways up the stairs, the sound of laughter and music was heard through the stairwell. Some of the others on the stairs stared at him backing away whispering and pointing
But it was fine Wemmbu was used to this

See hybrids existed here but they were extremely rare to come around .
Out of the whole population only around 3% were hybrids, hybrids happened when someone dies there soul floats. Waiting to be sucked up but some animal souls stay. So when an animal of any sort who thinks this person is worthy of their soul and power, gives their soul reviving the person but causing a mutation between the two creating a hybrid.
Usually hybrids weren't allowed into collage but unstable academy set up a program where 12 hybrids would be accepted in and taught just like any other student.

Wemmbu huffed making his way up to the 5th floor, there was a connection to another building where him and his fellow hybrids would stay
When he entered into the shared living space it seemed no one was there yet
He walked through the hallway “1,2,3,4,5,6,” six rooms lined the walls
He hummed to himself “ which means there will be twelve of us total” he thought he passed through the common room which contained a kitchen, tables, a couch, and a tv.
Wemmbu made his way to room 5 inside was a spacious room with two beds, two desk, two wardrobes and two windows on each side in the middle was the door to the shared bathroom
Wemmbu smiled to himself this isn’t so bad, plus this will be a good place away from my parents Wemmbu thought
He immediately started unpacking setting up his posters of his favorite band some banners purple and yellow star fairy lights
After finally grabbing the rest of his boxes up and moving is car to the parking lot meant for their building
He unpacked the rest of his stuff like is toiletries, set all his clothes in rainbow order and lines all his jewelry out he set his bed up with purple sheets, purple blankets pillows and stuffed animals(what Can i say, I like purple)
His part of the room looked perfect right, just when he felt happy he heard the door into the shared living space open.
Wemmbu went out greeted with the sight of a tall fully void black man with white eyes and black short-medium hair he carried two bags in his hands while his serpent like tail held his phone, he was dressed on a black shirt with a red bowtie
“Hi, the man greeted, I’m minute” with a small smile
“Oh hello im Wemmbu” Wemmbu causal walked over
“Need any help with your bags?” minute sighed “ yes bro, that would be awesome” the duo walked to the parking lot grabbing the rest of minutes things
“ So just asking” Wemmbu said with a cheeky smile “ do you ever get a sun burn? Since your like pure void or something” minute just stood there for a second before bursting out laughing “ I like you Wemmbu,” he said “your funny, also yes I still get sunburns they are just hard to see” the duo walked back up chatting and telling jokes obviously creating a freindship bond
“So like Wemmbu” minute asked “ can I have your number you seem funny and I can already tell were going to be great freinds”
Wemmbu smiled “ yeah bro for surer” handing minute his phone
When they walked back up they were greeted with screaming a second voildling ran towards them his rainbow bandana blowing as he ran towards and behind Wemmbu and minute
Behind him ran a asian man with black hair with red horns peeking out
“SPOKEEEE” then man abruptly skidded to a stop seeing the other two men, who spoke was hiding behind
“ Oh hello” the man stated with quick smile “ sorry spoke over there ate the rest of my chips” the man glaring at spoke who behind them just giggled “ sorry where are my manner, i'm Mappic, the voiding behind you is spoke” spoked giggled as he practically skipped in front of them
Now with a better look Wemmbu noticed the mans featured he had void black skin and hair with white eyes and a white mouth, he wore a black hoodie with rainbow accents everywhere
“ Hiiii, I’m spoke” the man all than practically shouted out
“ Hello I'm Wemmbu and this here is minute” they all exchanged looks and walked back towards there rooms, making small talk
Wemmbu set minutes bags down and went into his room to finish organizing
While he was doing that spoke poked his head in
“ Heyyyy neighbor” spoke greeted going over to sit on wemmbus bed

The two talked and Wemmbu realized the man was actually really fun to talk to
“ So, what are you studying?” Asked spoke
“ criminal justice, I want to become a lawyer”
“Wait Wemmbu bro, lawyer was one of my guesses” the man said excitedly
They were interrupted by another slam of a door spoke and Wemmbu peeked out the room
There stood 4 different people
Wemmbu narrowed his eyes scanning the 4 men
The first man obviously a parrot hybrid with his sharp nails and parrot wings along with head feathers and clumps of feathers littered his body his skin a tanned white, wearing a simple shirt and shorts
Beside him stood a cockatiel hybrid his looks similar to the parrot hybrids just with the change of colors and no head feathers he was a pale white with medium length hair wearing combat boots a simple pierce the veil shirt followed up with cargo pants, along with a chain a glasses
The two obviously knew each other because they stood together talking
I wonder if either of them are strong wemmbu thought
Behind him was a siren hybrid with his blue fish ears and gills the man wore a mask with… a pirate hat?
Who the hell wears a pirate hat? Wemmmbu thought
The man had baggy blue sorts paired with a sailor shirt and vest along with pirate boots… of course
And finally a mermaid hybrid with his stunning features the man was a pale white, with blond hair that went little down past his shoulders
You could see a few scales trailing down his arms and legs
He wore a crop top with a fishnet shirt under he had a he/him pronouns button on, paired with baggy blue jorts, along with many belts, and gold jewelry everywhere
And wemmbu has to admit he has style, and something about him was… familiar?
The birds spoke first “ hello im parot and the man beside me is Theo” parrot spoke with a slight smile
“Damn your parrots must have hated you” wemmbu said suppressing a laugh, spoke beside him also holding back a laugh
Parrot huffed “Yes, I’ve heard thank you so much, well how about your name is it as stupid as you look?!” Parrot retorted
“No” wemmbu grumbled “ my names Wemmbu'
Behind him the siren spoke “ sorry to interrupt but if were doing intros I'm Jaden “
And the mermaid behind him also spoke “ also hi, my name is Zam I'm a mermaid hybrid, and I'm genderfluid so just look at the button I'm wearing each day to know my pronouns” Zam said with a big smile
At that moment minute stuck his head out “well nice to meet all of you I'm minute”
spoke then decided to speak up” YOOO, nice to meet y’all Im spoke and my roommate is mapic” mapic walked out to greet the new people “ yes I'm mapic nice to meet you” he said with a tired smile
Wemmbu watched as parrot made his way to room three, zam went to room one with minute the two talking since they were to be roommates
And Theo and jaden both went to room 4 talking since they were to be roommates, even though Theo kept glancing at parrot obviously sad they weren't rooming
By the time everyone was done unpacking obvious by how everything went quiet, it was 9pm.
Wemmbu had been just laying in his bed, it seemed that was all the people who were coming tonight.
He walked out to the commons to get water saying goodnight to spoke as he and wemmbu crossed paths “G’night” spoke mumbled walking away in nothing but batman boxers
Wemmbu got his water and retreated to his room setting the water down and getting a set of sweatpants and a shirt heading to the bathroom
Wemmbu slowly undressed and immediately unshimmered his wings.
To nobody it would seem those wings appeared out of nowhere but it was just wemmbu's magic that concealed his wings.
Wemmbu remebred the words like yesterday “ remember to hide your wings, dragon wings are rare and anyone would do anything to get their hands on them”
Wemmbu smiled the memory not at the words but at the man who said it his best friend, no… his brother.
Wemmbu immediately shut that memory looking at the the many and huge white scars that lined his thighs, ankles and arms
Wemmbu stepped into the shower letting the warm water run along his light purple skin, black horns, wings and long purple hair.
“So, classes start in 3 days, that means ill have time to explore the city” wemmbu said to himself
He got and got dressed brushed his teeth and hair all but slamming into his bed
Slowly wemmbu drifted off into sleep, ready for the day tomorrow.
