Chapter Text
Wemmbu walked down the prison corridor toward the cell of his best friend, Eggchan. Over time, the prison cell had changed so much that it barely looked like a prison anymore. If it wasn’t for the thick layer of obsidian surrounding it and the numerous guards standing watch, someone might have mistaken it for a comfortable home. If you overlooked those factors of course.
Wemmbu himself looked different as well. His armor had been decorated with newly dyed purple trims, giving it a more regal appearance. Beneath it, he wore one of his favorite outfits—stylish old clothes that he only enjoyed wearing whenever he visited Eggchan. Combined with the armor, it gave him the aura of a king rather than a warrior. Of course, the armor still had the spider's design, because he still worked for arachnids.
As he approached the cell, the smile on his face weakened. Guilt crept into his voice as he looked at Eggchan.
“Egg bro, yooo… The bad news is that you still need to stay in prison for now. But the good news is that I’ve been promoted, and I’ll try my hardest to get you out. D’alright?” Wemmbu lowered his head slightly.
“I’m sorry…”
Eggchan simply laughed and waved a hand dismissively.
“Eh, chill, bro. As long as we can go fishing together—even if it’s indoors—I’m good.”
He glanced around the room with a grin. “Besides, look at everything we’ve managed to do. You made this place feel like home, and we get to see each other way more often. Even if I am in a prison where I can't leave.”
Eggchan leaned back comfortably on the chair where he wrote all his books.
“For now, I’ll just aura-farm in peace and write a few books. Don’t worry about me. Just try to have fun…Bye, Wemms. Just stay safe.”
Wemmbu finally managed a small smile.
“I will.”
With that, he turned and left.
The moment he reached the end of the hallway, his smile disappeared. The warmth in his eyes vanished, replaced by a cold, stone-faced expression befitting his position.
Waiting for him were Yungy and Jadenman.
Yungy wore polished netherite armor shaded in dark purple and black, with golden trims along the edges. A cape hung from his shoulder, fastened by golden chains. He looked more like a noble than a soldier—elegant and composed.
Jadenman’s armor was just as extravagant, though blue instead of purple. Purple gems were embedded throughout, connected by golden chains. He wore gloves, giving him a refined yet slightly pirate-like style.
Despite their differences, they shared two things: their shields bore the same emblem—a spider and webs—and both wore masks covering part of their faces, a custom Wemmbu had established after taking over the kingdom.
The two immediately straightened and bowed.
“We’ve returned from the mission, our king.”
Silence filled the hallway as they stood up looking at wemmbu, saying nothing more.
Wemmbu changed his armor and veil—he had worn a different set for Eggchan, one that it hide the truth of what he had done. Now, his true armor returned: purple and black, layered with gold to reflect the kingdom’s wealth but the gold was in the design of the spider he had taken over.
His veil was different too—an older one from when the server first began. Many had called it creepy. Dark red, with an unsettling design. But he liked it.
And he wore it now.
Not because he wanted to rule.
But because he needed to protect Eggchan.
They followed him into the main hall, taking their places beside the throne.
Everyone bowed as Wemmbu sat down and picked up a piece of paper that had just arrived.
“Long live the Ruler”
The title echoed through the hall. Wemmbu smiled as he read the message. Then, without looking up, he spoke.
“Make sure Eggchan stays safe in that room.”
A pause.
“And make sure he never finds out… or escapes.”
he leans back on the throne thinking
“even if am reason he has be locked up it to protect him”
