Tommy: Citizen favourite vigilante 'Theseus'. He's 12, been a vigilante since he was 10, and grew his wings 2 days ago. Thought he was dying when they came in. His avian species is the Canadian Goose (they are also called 'Cobra Chickens'); he hisses, bites, and is territorial, just like a Canadian Goose. Dislikes heroes, thinks he doesn't need anyone to save him. Blond hair, blue eyes.
Outfit: A red hoodie big enough to hide his new wings under, black pants with lots of pockets, black high-heeled combat boots, face mask.
Phil: #1 hero 'Angel'; he's 42; he is known for his hatred of Vigilantes. His two sons (both adopted) are Techno & Wilbur, who are Twins. Has Blond hair, green eyes, and large crow wings.
Outfit: green-and-white striped bucket hat, long green trench coat or a heavily lined green coat, a simple, slightly rumpled white dress shirt or sweater, and practical dark combat boots or hiking boots.
Techno: #2 hero 'Blade'; he's 20, Pink hair, red eyes with flecks of gold. Has tusks.
Outfit: His normal monarch outfit & a pig-themed mask that goes over his eyes.
Wilbur: #3 hero 'Willow'; 20; brown hair & eyes; phantom + siren.
Outfit: his normal outfit
Dream: 14 in this au, Tommy's half-brother, who got separated from him in foster care when Tommy was 6 & Dream was 8. Dream is a swan, got his wings 2 years ago, but has made sure he never looked at any adult avian, so he hasn't imprinted yet. He works as a mercenary because it allows him to go to new places where he can look for Tommy, which would never hurt Tommy.
A fledgling (avian who recently grew its wings) imprints on the first adult avian they see irl. This creates a parent-child bond, for the next 4 years after the imprint happens, if the fledgling is away from their imprint for more than 3 days, they get very sick & will eventually die.
Tommy is in his vigilante outfit, in an alley, with a bad stab wound.
Phil finds him, says he can smell the bood, Tommy argues that he can't, gives a warning hiss, then says "I'm a vigilante, I don't need a fucking hero", Phil says he's not going to just let him die in an alley even if he hates vigilantes and steps into Tommy's line of sight, Tommy sees Phil's wings, imprints (and warbles when he does), then bolts. Phil chases, but his wings get stuck in a fence.
Tommy gets 3miles away before collapsing. He counts the minutes, 30 min before he thinks he hears footsteps, so he lets out a chirp, then passes out.
Phil takes Tommy home with him, even though he's unconscious. Tommy bites Phil's hand, but it's more of holding it. Techno stitches Tommy's stab wound.
Tommy wakes up in Phil's nest, wings visible. He bites Phil when Phil tries to feed him. Anytime any of the SBI tries to interact with him, he bites them.
2 weeks after arriving, Dream breaks in through the window to get his baby brother. Wilbur comes in just as Dream is trying to grab a sleeping Tommy; they fight, and Tommy wakes up. In a panic (He was worried that Wilbur would severely hurt/arrest his brother), Tommy blurts out that Dream is his half-brother and is only 14.
Wilbur carefully restrains Dream, takes off his mask, then, after seeing how young Dream looks, plops Dream in the nest with Tommy & calls for Phil.
