Work Text:
The restaurant seemed too bright, too loud for Jai’s liking, but here he was on a dinner date with his latest girlfriend. She was well… nice, he didn’t mind having her around, the sex was good, and she wasn’t much of a bother. But tonight something felt off, usually the dinner table would be filled with nonstop complaints from his girlfriend, either about her outfit, or about her friends, or classes. It had to be something, but the quietness bothered him more.
“What’s the matter? Why are you this quiet? Did something happen?” Jai asked, his attention entirely focused on his girlfriend. His eyes drifted down to her hand playing with the cutlery. “You haven’t even touched your food. Didn’t you say you liked this place and wanted to try it?”
“Oh… so you finally noticed?” his girlfriend Maya asked, carrying a sarcastic tone in her voice. “I didn’t think you’d know.”
“Can you stop acting this way?” Jai pleaded, his fingers rubbing the bridge of his nose in exhaustion. “Everything was fine till yesterday, so what happened today?”
“Are you asking because you don’t know, or are you pretending not to know?” Maya scoffed, her fork clattering down on the table with a resonating sound. “Don’t act oblivious, Jai, you know what I’m talking about!”
“I don’t know!!... If I had known, would we be having this conversation?” Jai asked, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion at the accusatory tone in Maya’s voice. “I don’t remember doing anything to piss you off, so what happened?”
“What was that yesterday? What’s up with you and your friend? That…Pik or anything.” Maya questioned.
“What do you mean? What about Pik and me?” Jai retorted, his voice dropping low.
“Don’t pretend you don’t know. Yesterday I saw you both in the library. What’s with all the hugging and being all touchy? You were hugging him so close. If I didn’t know any better, people might think you guys were dating.” Maya said, her voice rising an octave as she looked at Jai’s confused face.
“What the hell are you saying?” Jai countered, his voice dropping dangerously low. “Pik is my friend, he’s been my friend for four years now. Isn’t it normal for friends to be close?”
“It’s normal for friends to be close, but not like you both; you’re too touchy with him. You… you kiss his forehead, you hold his hand, you spend most nights at his place. That’s… that’s something friends don’t do. And him… he doesn’t even push you away. Does he not get it? You’re my boyfriend; he shouldn’t let you touch him like that. Acting all clingy with someone’s boyfriend… is he that desperate?”
That was the last straw of Jai’s patience, “Enough, you won’t talk about my friend like that. He’s been here with me for four years, and he knows me better than anyone else. So what if I’m a bit touchy with him? So what if he doesn’t push me away? We are that close, it’s not weird.”
“Jai… don’t you get it? I’m your girlfriend; anyone would get jealous if someone’s boyfriend was so close to another person. I’m not saying it’s weird, but it’s also not normal to be that close, even if he is your friend. I kept quiet all this time because he seemed important to you, but now it’s getting out of hand.”
“So, what the hell do you want me to do? Should I stop talking to him?”
“Can you do that? Can you bear to stay away from him? Do it. Stop calling him, stop texting him, stop being so close to him. Can you do that?” Maya demanded, her eyes focused on Jai’s clenched jaw.
“You’re overreacting. Pik is my best friend, and I am not distancing myself from him just because you’re insecure about our friendship.” Jai’s eyes traced the pained expression of his girlfriend’s face as her eyes filled with unshed tears.
“So that’s what you think it is? Me being insecure, and I’m jealous and delusional. Is that what you’re trying to say?” Maya’s voice trembled as she looked at Jai, a tear sliding down her lush pink cheeks.
“I… I didn’t mean that, Maya. I just….”
“You what… You can’t do that, can you? Forget it, I was stupid to believe you liked me,” Maya wiped her tears with the back of her hands as her breathing grew heavy.
“I should have listened to my friends when they said what kind of person you are… also about that friend of yours. He’s the reason for this argument. If he had known his place, this wouldn’t have happened.”
“Do you actually hear what you’re saying. You don’t need to drag Pik into this. It’s not his fault, it’s you. You’re making a big deal out of nothing!!” Jai expressed in a frustrated voice, his breathing growing fast.
“Let’s break up. Since you can’t seem to commit to one person, there’s no point in doing this any further,” Maya whispered, wiping her tears, as she grabbed her purse.
“Wait… Maya, hear me out,” Jai pleaded, his hands gripping her wrist in a gentle hold before she could leave. “We don’t have to do this; you’re digging way too much into this.”
“Jai, let’s break up, and let me tell you this: don’t do this again to anyone else. You are just using people to fill that void in your heart. Claiming Pik is just your friend won’t help your feelings go away,” Maya whispered in a serious tone.
“Be clear with what you want, so you won’t end up hurting people. People aren’t just your toys, Jai, just so you can use and throw them away; they have feelings. So next time, before you decide to date, be honest with yourself first. Do you actually want that person, or is it just someone to fill that hole in your heart and warm up your bed?” Maya retorted, breaking free from his grip, her chair scraping against the marbled floor as she walked away.
Jai watched her shadow disappear behind the door as he let out a frustrated sigh. It had happened again, not even three weeks into a relationship, and he was already broken up with. Was he sad? Not really, it had been only three weeks, and it wasn’t that serious for him. But what stuck with him wasn’t her tears or her outburst, but how she viewed his and Pik’s relationship. They were best friend, Pik knew him better than anyone. Yes, Jai was clingy and touchy with Pik, but that’s just what the friendship between them was.
Maya’s question resonated in his mind like an unsettled burden; he shook his head, ignoring the unsettling feeling as he paid the bill before walking away. Seated in his car, he took his phone out, the dark interior now highlighted with the bright screen of his phone displaying Pik’s chat.
Jai: Pik… where are you? I’m lonely😭
PookPik: What do you mean by lonely? Didn’t you have a date?
Jai: Forget it, tell me where you are?
PookPik: Blossomed Night, the bar. You know where it is, right?
Jai: Are you drinking alone?
PookPik: No, I am with Otd and Ocean. Are you coming?
Jai: Yes, I am. Wait for me.
PookPik: Hmm, don’t rush. Drive safely. See you.
Jai: I’ll be there soon.🫡
The drive to the bar didn’t take long, and as Jai made his way inside, he was greeted by the loud music echoing off the closed walls; the air was filled with a mix of the smells of alcohol and cigarettes. Jai drifted through the packed dance floor until his attention was drawn to the very corner table of the bar, where he spotted Pik.
He was dressed in an oversized net top with a cropped top underneath, giving the view of his small waist. The oversized net top slipped off his shoulders, displaying his defined neck and collarbone. Accompanied by a baggy pair of jeans and accessories. His long hair was styled perfectly, falling over his eyes and forehead. His big, brown eyes widened in excitement, and a small smile graced his lips as he listened to what Ocean had to say.
Jai’s breath hitched in his throat. It was a sensory overload-the loud music, the smell of alcohol and then the sight of Pik. He looked reckless, beautiful, and entirely out of reach in a way that made Jai’s stomach churn with an unfamiliar, possessive heat. He reminded himself that it was because they were best friends, but as his eyes travelled across the bar, he could see several eyes pinned on Pik. They looked at Pik with hunger, need… want.
Without wasting a second, Jai took long strides to the table, dropping himself right beside Pik, as his hand possessively wrapped around Pik’s waist, pulling him close. Pik let out a surprised yelp at the sudden invasion of the person beside him. He looked through lashes as Jai’s face came into view. Pik let out a relieved sigh, his heart fluttering at the sudden closeness.
“Are you insane? You scared me. At least let me know you’re here,” Pik murmured, as his eyes travelled to Jai’s clenched jaw.
“Why are you uncomfortable being this close to me?” Jai whispered, his hot breath fanning against the shell of Pik’s ears.
“You know that’s not what I mean,” Pik retorted before settling back into a comfortable position.
“Oh… what brings you here? Didn’t you have a date?” Otd, one of their friends asked, sipping on the whiskey glass in his hand as he sat beside Ocean, their other friend.
“Yeah… Weren’t you excited for this date? Look at you all dressed up,” Ocean asked, as his eyes traced Jai’s well-groomed appearance.
Jai poured himself a glass of whiskey, drowning it in one go, “We broke up.”
“What? You just started dating, didn’t you? It hasn’t even been three weeks,” Otd’s voice asked in surprise.
“Jai… isn’t this the second one this month. How come they don’t last even a month?” Ocean’s voice murmured, snacking on some chips.
“I knew it. It never changes. So, what did you do this time? Were you dating two people, and she found out, or did you say something that pissed her off? She was a good one, Jai,” Pik whispered beside him, snacking on a fry as his eyes studied Jai’s stubborn expression.
“Pik… don’t you trust your friend? I didn’t do anything this time. It was her; she was just finding reasons to argue,” Jai whined, dropping his head on Pik’s shoulders, tightening his hold on Pik’s waist.
“And what did she argue about. Doesn’t seem like a small matter since she decided to break up,” Otd asked, leaning back onto the cushioned seat.
Ocean sat beside Otd, observing the surroundings before shifting his attention back to the conversation.
“Don’t know. We were in the restaurant, and she was too quiet, didn’t even touch her food, so I asked what was wrong. She just started going off on me. And she mentioned Pik.”
Pik’s relaxed posture straightened at his mention. He swallowed the food in his mouth before pushing Jai off his shoulder. “What do you mean by that? Why was I mentioned in your breakup?” Pik murmured, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
“Don’t know. She kept saying we’re too touchy, too clingy and all. She said she didn’t like me being close to you, and she asked me to stop contacting you. What the hell did she even mean? We’re friends, it's normal for us to be this close, isn’t it?”
Pik’s breath hitched at Jai’s words. A stranger… a stranger was more aware of whatever was happening between them wasn’t something just friends do, but Jai, being Jai, was still oblivious to the entire thing. It hollowed out Pik’s chest at the realization that he might never become something more than just a friend.
Pik quickly covered his pained expression by reaching out for another fry, munching on it, ignoring the burning sensation in his eyes.
“To be honest…” Ocean murmured, “She isn’t wrong, you see. You guys don’t seem like just friends. To us, it might seem normal since we’re in the same group, but to outsiders, it’s more like something is going on between you, too.”
Jai furrowed his eyebrows at the sudden different outlook. He leaned forward, his hand finally leaving Pik’s waist, while the other hand picked up the whiskey glass, drowning it again in a sip. “How is it different? We’re best friends. It’s normal for us to be touchy, isn’t it?”
“Not that much. Look at you both now. You just had your arm around his waist; a friend would have draped his arm across his shoulder, not his waist. You keep giving him compliments, saying he’s too pretty, too beautiful, too cute. Friends don’t do that,” Otd pointed out the obvious in a casual tone, sipping his drink.
Pik shifted uncomfortably in his seat, hearing the conversation. He knew it was true, but he didn’t have words to express how he felt. He sat there in silence as the conversation continued.
“But… but you and Ocean. You guys are touchy all the time. What about it? Aren’t you also friends?” Jai retorted.
“No, we are not friends. We know what we have, and it’s more than just being friends. We don’t deny that, unlike you who keeps saying you’re just friends.” Ocean murmured as he leaned on Otd’s shoulder.
Jai remained confused; he couldn’t understand what they meant. Pik was his best friend; that was all it was. His attention shifted to Pik beside him, catching the look in Pik’s eyes. “What do they mean? I don’t understand, PookPik,” Jai whined.
“Nothing, it’s nothing. Just drink,” Pik murmured, handing Jai another glass of alcohol.
Pik's heart hammered hearing the words that cut through his heart like a blade. ‘Best Friend’ That’s what he was always going to be.
“Pik…Pik?” his trance broke at Jai’s steady voice.
“Huh… what’s up?” Pik asked, his eyes tracing the features on Jai’s face.
“Aren’t you going to drink?” Jai asked, drowning another glass of whiskey.
“Hmm… Ocean and I won’t drink. If we do, who will drive both of you back home? And slow down already, this is your third glass.”
“It’s alright, nothing will happen, I have good tolerance, and I also have you. Since you’ll be taking me home, I won’t hold back. I am heartbroken, remember?” Jai murmured, picking up some snacks before munching on them.
“Hmm, whatever,” Pik murmured, giving up on offering any other advice. But if I can’t carry you to the car, I’m leaving you here.”
“You won’t do that. You would never leave me behind. I’m your best friend. You care about me,” Jai murmured, his eyes meeting Pik as a small, honest smile graced his lips.
“Whatever,” Pik murmured, breaking eye contact. “Just make sure you don’t die.”
Jai let out a hearty laugh before drowning another glass, his carefree nature reflecting from his reckless behavior.
The night settled deep, the rush of the bar calming down soon after midnight. Pik returns to the corner, Jai slumped over the cushioned seat, while Otd was blacked out, drunk asleep on Ocean’s shoulder.
“I took care of the bill,” Pik murmured. “Will you be able to take Otd home? He’s completely drunk,” Pik asked, looking at the sorry state of Otd.
“Thanks, and I can take him home. It’s not the first time,” Ocean sighed, helping Otd up, supporting his body.
“Okay, be careful,” Pik said. “Hmm, you too. Go safely,” Ocean answered back before disappearing in the shadows.
Pik looked down at Jai, half asleep on the bar seat, “Hey… Jai, get up, it’s time to go,” Pik murmured, annoyed as he shook Jai. Jai woke up with a jolt, seemingly unaware of his surroundings. “Pik… what happened?”
“Nothing happened, let’s go home. It’s late. Get up,” Pik exhaled as he supported Jai up to his feet before walking out of the bar toward his car. The entire walk was silent, and only the sound of heavy footsteps echoed through the almost empty parking lot. Jai leaned against Pik, his steps swaying while walking. Finally reaching the car, Pik helped Jai inside, getting him settled comfortably before getting on the driver’s side.
“So, I am dropping you at your house, okay?” Pik murmured, but a small whine of protest exhaled Jai’s lips. “No, I don’t want to sleep alone. Let me crash at your place, please… pleaseeee…Pik.”
“Okay, whatever, just stop whining,” Pik murmured, starting the engine before driving off on the deserted roads of Bangkok.
The car engine finally died down as Pik pulled over the car in the apartment driveway. With much difficulty, they made their way to Pik’s apartment. Discarding their shoes at the doorway, Pik helped Jai onto the couch, Jai’s body dropping on the couch with a thud.
Pik let out a tired sigh before sitting down on one knee in front of Jai. Hesitantly, his hand reached forward, tucking a stray strand of Jai’s hair behind his ears. “Are you okay? How are you feeling?” Pik asks in a gentle, smooth voice. Jai opens his eyes as he looks down at Pik’s face, worry evident as his eyebrows furrowed.
The apartment was a quiet sanctuary. The dim amber glow of the single floor lamp cast long, flickering shadows against the walls. The low, rhythmic hum of the refrigerator was the only sound in the room, making the heavy, jagged silence between them feel profound.
Pik remained on his knee, his hand still lingering near Jai’s face.
“I am okay. A little sober,” Jai whispered, his eyes tracing the features on Pik’s face. But his eyes didn’t look sober; they looked glassy, dark and searching.
“Wait here, I’ll get up some water. It might help you sober up a bit,” Pik whispered as he pushed his body up, walking towards the kitchen counter. Jai’s eyes traced the smooth moment of Pik’s body as he moved around the house with ease. His eyes stuck on the skin of his waist, peeking out of the netted shirt, like an alluring sound calling him in.
Pik, oblivious to the tension in Jai’s heart, picked up the jug pouring a glass of water. Before he could turn around, he felt two strong arms wrapping around his waist and a set of warm lips settling directly against the hollow of his neck. Pik’s body trembled at the sudden closeness of Jai’s warm body pressed against him. His fingers trembled around the glass of water before he set it down.
His fingers curled into a fist against his netted top as he felt Jai’s lips placing small, gentle kisses along his neck while his arms tightened their hold on his waist. Pik shuddered at the feeling of those warm lips pressed against his body. Pik closed his eyes, letting out a small sigh of helplessness.
“Jai… stop,” Pik whispered, as his hands wrapped around Jai’s as he loosened their grip of his waist. He turned around in the minimal space he had, coming face to face with Jai. His eyes were dark and commanding, filled with lust and something more Pik couldn’t understand. Jai's hot breath fanned against Pik’s lips before Jai’s hands landed on the countertop of the kitchen, trapping Pik’s body in between.
“What the hell are you doing, Jai?” Pik whispered, his voice coming out in ragged breaths.
“Pik… everyone says we look more than just friends, so…” Jai whispered, his deep burning gaze meeting Pik’s eyes, the heat radiating from his body sending a shiver down Pik’s spine.
“So what?” What are you trying to say?” Pik whispered, as Jai pressed his forehead against the space between Pik’s shoulder blades.
“Do you want to be… to be more than friends? Just for one night?” Jai whispered against Pik’s shoulders, inhaling the maddening sweet scent of Pik’s body.
“What do you mean? What the hell are you trying to say?” Pik whispered as his breathing grew heavy. His hands, which fisted the hem of his top, rose pressing against Jai's chest in an attempt to push him back. But the sheer intensity and the tension between them made his hands weak as they landed gently against his chest, feeling his rapid heart thumping against his chest.
“Pik… I can’t control it. Every time I look at you, it’s like…everything else just loses its color," Jai confessed, his voice barely a breath against Pik's skin.
Jai sounded terrified, the confession dragging out of him like he was admitting to a crime. He pulled back just an inch, his dark eyes searching Pik’s face for any sign of rejection. "I ruin everything else on purpose because it’s not you. I date these people, I push them away, I come running back to you—and I’ve been telling myself it’s because you’re my best friend, but that’s the biggest lie I’ve ever told."
Pik’s breath hitched. He felt his heart slamming against his ribs, a frantic rhythm that matched Jai's own. He didn't want to hear this, and yet, he had spent years craving these exact words.
"Don't, you’re not sober. You’ve had too much to drink," Pik whispered, though his hands—once pushing Jai away—now instinctively gripped Jai’s shirt, pulling him closer. "Don't say it if you’re just going to regret it in the morning."
"I won't," Jai promised, his tone shifting from desperation to a terrifying, absolute sincerity. He leaned in, his nose brushing against Pik's, their lips almost touching. "I’ve been trying to keep this buried for four years. I don't know how to do this, Pik. I don't know how to be the person you deserve. But tonight... just let me be the person who wants you."
“Jai, do you have any idea what you are even saying. It’s wrong… it shouldn’t happen,” Pik whispered as his eyes met with Jai’s, burning with immense intensity and hunger.
“I know what I am saying. I’m sober enough to know what I want. I want you…Pik. Can I have you?” Jai whispered, his lips merely brushing over Pik’s. The subtle touch of Jai’s lips sent a jolt down Pik’s spine. His body vibrated with the sheer heat of Jai’s body against his.
Pik’s internal protests died in his throat, choked off by the sheer reality of Jai’s lips against his. He had spent years imagining this, but the actuality of it—the warmth, the desperation, the way Jai moved as if Pik were the only anchor in his chaotic world—was overwhelming.
He didn't pull away. Instead, Pik’s hands, which rested against Jai’s chest, moved to grip the back of Jai’s neck, pulling him in harder. He wasn't giving in to a "one-night" deal; he was finally surrendering to a truth he couldn't outrun.
"You're going to break my heart, aren't you?" Pik whispered against Jai’s mouth, his voice breaking.
Jai didn't answer with words. He only tilted his head, deepening the kiss, his movements frantic and possessive. In that kiss, there was no more "best friend" barrier, no more "red flag" distance—there was only the raw, messy collision of two people who had been circling this moment for years.
“I wouldn’t imagine breaking your heart, that would kill me,” Jai whispered in a gravelly voice, before capturing Pik’s lips in a deep, bruising kiss. His hands traced the curve of Jai’s body before they held Pik’s waist in a bruising hold, leaving marks.
Pik’s arms wrapped around Jai’s neck, pulling him closer to his body. The heavy weight of Jai’s hands on his waist was grounding yet terrifying, a physical anchor that made the air in the kitchen feel impossibly thin. Every brush of Jai’s skin against his own felt like a claim, a silent promise that for this night, they were no longer just friends. Pik let out a shuddering breath, his fingers tangling into the hair at the nape of Jai’s neck, and finally surrendered to the magnetic pull he had spent years trying to resist.
As they moved, the kitchen began to fade into the background while Jai, without breaking the contact of their lips, began to guide Pik backwards. The transition from the kitchen to the bedroom felt like a blur of frantic touches and hushed, jagged breaths. As they stumbled into the bedroom, their movements were uncoordinated and desperate, a direct reflection of the years they had spent holding back their true feelings.
In the moonlight, clothes were discarded in a desperate, fumbling hurry, fabric falling to the floor as if it were a barrier neither of them could tolerate a second longer. Jai pushed Pik gently against the mattress, his eyes locked onto Pik's as if he were trying to memorize every detail of the moment before the dawn could break their fragile agreement.
Jai’s body hovered over Pik’s before his lips crashed against Pik’s in a deep kiss, his tongue invaded Pik’s mouth, tasting the sweet, lingering taste. Jai hummed in satisfaction against Pik’s mouth, before tracing open mouthed kissed along Pik’s smooth flesh.
Pik arched his back, a low, shaky sound escaping his throat as Jai’s lips moved lower, trailing heat across his collarbone and toward his chest. The cool night air of the room was immediately forgotten, replaced entirely by the searing presence of Jai’s skin against his own. Pik’s fingers tangled into Jai’s hair, not to pull him away this time, but to anchor himself as the reality of the situation finally settled in—the years of silence, the carefully constructed "best friend" barrier, and the constant, aching uncertainty were dissolving into something raw and tangible.
Jai’s kisses became more feverish while Pik’s fingers clawed on Jai’s broad back. Their hardened cocks brushed against each other with every movement, sending a shiver down their spines. Jai rolled his hips in a desperate attempt for friction. The sudden moment made Pik’s breath hitch as his body moved along with Jai’s. Jai’s hot, wet mouth suddenly took one of Pik’s nipples, swirling his tongue around the pink bud, biting and tugging on it softly.
The sudden sharp sensation of teeth made Pik’s eyes tear up in pleasure. A broken moan escaped his lips at the sudden warmth. Jai gave the same attention to the other nipple, biting and tugging on the sensitive bud before soothing the ache with his tongue.
“Jai… Jai…” Pik whimpered in a desperate attempt.
“What’s wrong, Pik?” Jai whispered, his lips still tracing the curves of Pik’s body while his hands played with Pik’s sensitive buds.
“I swear… if you forget this tomorrow morning, I will never look at your face again. You can never again call me just a friend. Do you understand that?” Pik whispered with much difficulty, his body still trembling with the intense heat of the moment.
Jai stopped his ministrations, his hands resting on either side of Pik’s head as he processed the weight of that ultimatum. The heat in the room seemed to shift, becoming thick with the gravity of what Pik had just demanded.
Jai looked up, his eyes dark and reflecting a terrifying, raw honesty that he hadn't been able to show before. He didn't pull away; instead, he leaned down, pressing his forehead firmly against Pik's, their ragged breathing syncing into a singular, desperate rhythm.
"I don't want to call you just a friend," Jai whispered, his voice trembling with a sincerity that felt more dangerous than any touch. "I don't think I've ever just wanted that. I've just been too much of a coward to admit it was killing me to stay in the lines."
He pressed a lingering, reverent kiss to Pik's forehead before dragging his lips back down to meet Pik's again, slower this time—less like a conquest and more like a surrender. "We aren't going back, Pik," he promised against his mouth, his hands sliding down to grip Pik’s hips with a steady, possessive pressure that left no room for doubt.
Pik’s heavy, resolute faltered against the weight of Jai’s promise. The raw intensity of his tone made Pik want to believe every word he had said. Pik finally let himself relax; the weight of Jai’s body on top of him finally felt grounding instead of suffocating.
“You promise?” Pik whispered, a rare vulnerability in his voice that made Jai’s heart ache. Jai pressed a firm, promising kiss against Pik’s forehead, reassuring him. “I promise.”
“So… can I continue? It’s getting hard to hold back,” Jai murmured, as a smug smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. Pik let out a breathless, shaky laugh, his fingers tightening in Jai’s hair as he pulled him down once more. "You're infuriating," he breathed, the smirk gone and replaced by an expression of pure, unadulterated want. "Yes, continue."
Jai dived back down, pinning Pik in a deep, bruising kiss as his hands roamed around Pik’s body, tracing every hollow and every curve. Pik let out a satisfied hum against his lips, feeling the warmth of Jai’s hands back on his body.
“Lube? You have it?” Jai whispered into the kiss. “I do, the first drawer,” Pik answered, pulling Jai back into the kiss. Jai blindly reached for the nightstand, opening the first drawer. His hands wrapped around the familiar tube. Without breaking the kiss, Jai poured a generous amount of lube onto his hands, warming them against his fingers until they were fully coated with the slick, warm gel.
Before he could move further, he suddenly pulled back, a confused expression on his face. Pik let out a frustrated sigh as the weight of Jai’s body was lifted off of him.
“What’s the problem now?” Pik whispered, as his hands clawed against Jai’s arm to pull him back down.
“Wait… why do you have lube?” Jai whispered, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion as his eyes traced the annoyed expression on Pik’s face.
“What kind of question is that? You think I don’t have sex? Are you crazy?” Pik murmured, annoyed at the man sitting between his legs.
Jai stared at him, the possessive fire in his eyes suddenly replaced by a flicker of raw, unvarnished jealousy that he couldn't quite hide. The smirk he had been wearing moments ago had vanished entirely, leaving his expression tight and unreadable.
"I just... I didn't think," Jai started, his voice dropping into a low, defensive growl as he sat back on his heels, his hands still slick and useless. "I never thought about you with anyone else. Not like that."
Pik felt a surge of triumph mixed with lingering irritation, propping himself up on his elbows to look Jai directly in the eye. "That’s your problem, isn't it? You’ve spent four years looking at me, but you never actually saw me."
He reached out, grabbing Jai’s wrists and pulling him back down, refusing to let the moment of insecurity stall them any longer. "Well, look at me now," Pik whispered, his voice dark with challenge. "I’m here with you. Not them. So stop overthinking and finish what you started."
Jai dipped down again for a fiery kiss, his tongue battling with Pik’s. Pik spread his long legs open, giving Jai more space to settle between them. Jai’s fingers, slick from lube, moved between Pik’s thighs, finally finding his entrance. The touch of the cool and slick gel made Pik’s back arch as Jai carefully eased a finger in Pik’s warm entrance.
"Good, right?" Jai murmured against his skin, his voice low and teasing. Pik let out a strained sound, half-sob and half-pleasure, as he retorted, "Shut up and just do it." With a smirk, Jai added a second finger, stretching him further. "You're so tight, it’s a wonder you’re still talking back."
Pik groaned, his hips instinctively pushing against Jai’s hand. "If you keep talking instead of working, I’ll find someone else," he gasped out, though his hands only clung tighter to Jai’s shoulders. Jai chuckled, a dark, pleased sound, and slid a third finger inside. "Not a chance in hell," Jai breathed, his rhythm steadying as he pushed Pik to the very edge of his composure.
Pik’s breath hitched, his body trembling as he adjusted to the fullness. "See? You’re perfect," Jai whispered, his tone dropping into a possessive, praise-filled murmur that made Pik’s head spin. Pik glared through heavy-lidded eyes, trying to maintain his composure. "You're only saying that because you're the one in control right now," he panted.
Jai chuckled, a low, vibrating sound that seemed to hum through both of their bodies. He shifted his fingers with a slow, deliberate rhythm, eliciting another sharp gasp from Pik. "I'll make sure you're very much out of control in a second," Jai teased, his eyes dark with intent. Pik felt his earlier annoyance melt away, replaced by an overwhelming, frantic need as he arched upward, silently pleading for more.
Pumping his finger in and out a few more times, Jai finally pulled them out. Pik’s entrance was slick and open, ready for him. “You’re ready for me, right?”
“Shut up and put it in, don’t waste time,” Pik murmured in annoyance at the sudden empty feeling in his body.
“I didn’t know you were that desperate for my cock,” Jai countered smugly at the beautiful man lying beneath him.
“Wait… I don’t have condoms,” Pik whispered, his breathing heavy.
“I have them…” Jai answered back with an almost idiotic expression on his face.
“Oh… then what the hell are you waiting for? Put them on,” Pik’s annoyed voice resonated in the room.
“I don’t want to, Pik. Let me go raw. I am clean. I promise,” Jai whined, making puppy eyes at Pik.
“Why should I let you go raw? Who knows where you’ve been?” Pik exhaled, his head dropping back against the pillow in a resigned sigh.
“I promise I am clean. I have never done it raw with anyone else. Let me do it. I want to feel you. Please Pik… PookPik,” Jai whined, as a smug smile graced his lips, he bent down, placing kisses all over Pik’s face and body.
Pik let out a shaky, frustrated exhale, his resistance crumbling under the barrage of kisses and the overwhelming weight of Jai’s sincerity. "You are so infuriatingly persistent," Pik muttered, though his hands had already moved to pull Jai closer, effectively abandoning his original demand for protection.
Jai pulled back just enough to look at him, his eyes glinting with a mix of triumph and soft, unmasked affection. "Only for you," he whispered, his voice dropping to a gravelly, intimate register. He didn't waste another second, his movements shifting from pleading to purposeful as he positioned himself between Pik’s legs, finally breaking the last barrier between them. Pik gasped, his fingers digging into Jai’s shoulders as he realized there was no turning back now—the fragile, lingering lines of their friendship had officially dissolved into something entirely new.
Jai didn’t waste any time, settling into a rhythm that was both demanding and worshipful, his movements firm and deliberate. "See? I told you it would be better like this," Jai murmured against Pik's neck, his voice thick with triumph as he hit a spot that made Pik’s head snap back.
"Shut up... and just keep doing that," Pik gasped, his legs tangling around Jai’s waist to pull him deeper. He was breathless, his body reacting instinctively to the friction, his previous annoyance completely replaced by an intense, consuming pleasure.
As they shifted, Jai hoisted Pik up, turning him so he was straddling Jai’s lap. The change in angle was devastating, forcing a sharp, broken sound from Pik’s throat as he was filled completely. "You like being on top, don't you, PookPik?" Jai teased, his hands gripping Pik’s hips to guide his pace.
"I hate you," Pik whined, though he was grinding his hips down with a frantic, desperate need that betrayed his words. He reached his first climax quickly, a wave of sensation that left him shaking against Jai’s chest. Jai didn't slow down, holding him steady as he continued to drive into him, his pace becoming even more relentless.
"You don't hate me," Jai countered, his voice dropping into a low, possessive growl as he felt Pik clenching around him. "You’re absolutely addicted to me."
Pik could only moan in response, the banter dying on his lips as a second, even more intense orgasm ripped through him. He collapsed forward, burying his face in Jai’s shoulder, his entire body humming with the aftermath. Jai chuckled, pulling him back up to reclaim his mouth in a kiss that tasted of sweat and satisfaction, his movements slowing down only to ensure they both lingered in the absolute, undeniable reality of the new territory they had crossed into.
Jai didn't let the moment settle, pulling Pik’s legs over his shoulders so he was flattened against the mattress, the angle forcing a raw, broken moan from Pik’s throat as his eyes welled with tears of overwhelming pleasure. "You are so incredibly needy tonight," Jai teased, his eyes dark with a mix of ravenous hunger and absolute adoration as he braced his arms to keep them eye-to-eye.
"And you’re a complete idiot," Pik gasped, the words stuttering out between jagged, hitching breaths as he arched his back to meet every one of Jai's forceful, desperate thrusts.
Jai chuckled, reaching down to tease at Pik’s sensitive skin while maintaining a relentless, intense pace that was pushing them both toward the edge. "If I'm such an idiot, why are you begging for more?" Jai murmured, his smirk widening as he felt Pik shudder and sob under the mounting, feverish intensity.
“Ahhh… ah, Jai… Jai. Harder, don’t stop,” Pik whispered, as Jai drove into him again, hitting his sweet spot that made his eyes roll back in pleasure.
“I’m not stopping anytime soon. You’re taking it so well. You like this, don’t you? My cock deep inside you, hmm?” Jai’s voice rasped as he increased his pace; the sound of their sleek skin slapping against one another echoed in the empty room.
Jai continued hitting the sweet spot that made Pik’s fingers curl against the sheets. Jai pulled his legs upwards, lifting his hips from the mattress, before he started driving back in with a beastly force.
“Wait…wait… It’s too much. I….I am coming. Jai… Jai,” Pik whimpered as he left his abdomen clenching again, ready for his second release.
“I know, I know, just a bit more,” Jai whispered, as he left his own abdomen curling at the sheer intensity of the maddening pace. “I am close too, let me feel you come on my cock.”
Pik’s eyes rolled back as his control slipped from his hold, and a loud moan escaped from his throat as he thrashed his head against the pillow, “ Jai…come inside. Come inside me, I want it. Don’t pull out… “
"Are you sure?" Jai growled, his voice vibrating with a dangerous mix of restraint and possessiveness as he paused for a fraction of a second, his eyes searching Pik’s face for any sign of hesitation.
Pik didn't answer with words; instead, he bucked his hips upward, pulling him down for a frantic, bruising kiss. "Don't you dare stop," he sobbed, his voice cracking with a mixture of desperate need and pure, overwhelming sensation. "Jai, please—just give it to me."
That was all the permission Jai needed. With a guttural, possessive roar, he abandoned all caution, driving into Pik with a final, overwhelming force that shattered the last of their composure. The world seemed to narrow down to the friction, the heavy, ragged gasps filling the room, and the sudden, searing heat as they exploded together. Pik arched off the mattress, his body spasming in rhythmic, violent waves, while Jai held him firmly, anchoring them both until the last of the tension finally ebbed away, leaving them tangled and breathless in the quiet aftermath.
Jai let go of Pil’s legs, settling them down. He looks down at where he and Pik stay connected. Jai watches in possessiveness as his cum dripped down Pik’s entrance, solid evidence of Jai’s claim on him. Pik lay down breathless on the mattress, his cheeks stained from the tears he had just shed, his chest heaving as he took deep ragged breaths. His eyes found Jai’s face, the dark expression on his face sending a shiver down Pik’s body.
“What happened, Jai?” Pik whispered, still breathing heavily. Pik felt Jai’s cock harden again inside him, opening him again as a broken whimper escaped his throat. “Jai… no more. I can’t feel my legs anymore,” Pik rasped out, his hands clawing at Jai’s arms. Jai pulled out his hardened length with an agonizingly slow motion. The sudden emptiness made Pik feel hollow from the inside.
Before Pik could even let out a protest. Jai flipped him around in a swift motion. Pik gasped as he was suddenly maneuvered onto his stomach, the shift in position leaving him exposed and vulnerable. Before he could voice another protest, he felt the heavy weight of Jai settling against his back, his breath hot against the sensitive skin of his neck.
"I told you," Jai murmured, his voice a low, possessive rumble that sent fresh tremors through Pik’s frame. "There is no 'no more' tonight. Not after everything we’ve finally admitted." Pik’s hands curled into the sheets, his body arching instinctively even as he tried to find the breath to argue, but the words died in his throat as Jai pressed a firm, claiming kiss to his shoulder, leaving no doubt that the night was far from over.
"I'm not finished with you," Jai growled, his voice vibrating against Pik's spine, raw with a hunger that brooked no argument. Pik let out a strangled cry, his protest dissolving into a frantic, broken sob as Jai took him again, faster and harder this time, driving into him with a desperate, unrelenting rhythm that blurred the lines between pleasure and sheer exhaustion.
Every thrust was a claim, a relentless assertion of everything they had suppressed for four years. Pik’s world narrowed to the crushing sensation of Jai’s body against his, his fingers white-knuckled as he clawed at the mattress, unable to escape the intensity that surged through him.
"Jai... please... I can't—" he gasped, but the words were stolen by another jolting impact that forced his back to arch and his head to fall forward, his control completely shattered by the sheer, unyielding pace. Jai only responded with a guttural sound of pure satisfaction, his grip on Pik's hips tightening until his knuckles turned white, pushing them both toward an edge they couldn't possibly turn back from.
"You're not stopping, are you?" Pik choked out, his voice thin and laced with a mix of helplessness and desperate, surging arousal as he braced himself against the relentless pace. Jai didn't even slow down, his breath hitching as he leaned closer to bite down gently on the sensitive shell of Pik’s ear. "Not even close," Jai rasped, his voice vibrating with a hunger that felt like it could consume them both.
"You're going to break me," Pik sobbed, though he found himself grinding back against Jai’s hips, his body betraying his words as he pleaded for even more contact. Jai let out a dark, satisfied laugh that shuddered through his chest against Pik’s back. "Then let me," Jai whispered, his grip tightening as he drove deeper, leaving Pik with no room to think, only to feel the overwhelming, absolute claim Jai was making on every inch of him.
"Just a little more, PookPik, look at me," Jai commanded, his voice thick and demanding, forcing Pik to turn his head to meet his gaze. Pik’s vision was swimming, his breath coming in ragged, broken hitches as the sheer intensity of the moment pushed him to the brink of collapse. "I... I can't," Pik whimpered, though he was already spiraling, his body tightening around Jai with a desperate, all-consuming need that mirrored the hunger in Jai's eyes.
"Yes, you can," Jai groaned, his movements turning frantic, his control finally splintering as he drove into him with one last, powerful thrust. The world detonated in a blur of white-hot sensation, leaving Pik to surrender completely, his voice lost in a final, shattering cry as they both peaked at the same moment.
As the last waves of pleasure subsided, leaving them both gasping for air, Jai collapsed against him, his weight grounding them in the silence. He held Pik tight, not letting go even as they slowly drifted back to reality, the quiet air heavy with the weight of everything they had finally, undeniably, become to one another.
When the rush finally settled down, Jai pulled himself up from Pik’s body as he pulled out from Pik’s warm entrance, now all slick with their wetness mixed. Jai collapsed on his back, right beside Pik, as his chest heaved, as he took deep breaths. Pik remained motionless on his stomach, his face towards Jai.
“Are you okay? Did I hurt you, Pik?” Jai whispered, pulling Pik’s naked body flush against him, his fingers tucking away the strands of hair that stuck to Pik’s forehead. “Hmm, I am fine. And how about you?” Pik asked, draping his arm across Jai’s broad chest as Jai tightened his arms around Pik’s.
“Me? I am on cloud nine. I feel like the luckiest person in the entire world. It was amazing. I didn’t think you could moan that sexy,” Jai murmured, a smug grin spreading across his face, into a stupid grin. Pik looked at his smug expression before his palm struck down on Jai’s chest, hitting him gently.
“Very funny,” Pik whispered, his voice laced with tiredness.
“But, I am being honest. It was the best with you, Pik. No one’s better than you,” Jai murmured, placing a soft kiss against Pik’s forehead.
“Jai… I hope you don’t forget your promise,” Pik whispered gently, his voice murmured against Jai’s chest.
Jai stilled, his arms tightening further around Pik until he was pressed securely against his side. He lifted his head, his gaze meeting Pik’s with a fierce, unwavering intensity that left no room for doubt. "I'm not going anywhere, and I’m certainly not forgetting," Jai replied, his voice dropping into a low, serious register that stood in stark contrast to his earlier playfulness.
He leaned down, pressing a lingering, reverent kiss to Pik's temple before trailing his lips down to the shell of his ear. "I’ve spent too long just watching you from the sidelines, Pik. Now that I’m here, you’re stuck with me."
Pik let out a soft, huffing sound that was half-laugh and half-sigh, his eyes drifting shut as he finally allowed himself to fully relax against Jai, the heavy, lingering tension of the last few years finally beginning to dissipate in the quiet dark of the room.
