Work Text:
Gorya couldn't sleep. She stared at the ceiling of the unfamiliar room in an unfamiliar country. It was way past midnight and she had work to do the next morning, but her brain wouldn't let her sleep.
Feeling restless, she turned to her right and was greeted by a sleeping Shasha who was facing her. One hand was placed between them, as if she was reaching out for Gorya. With her long black hair cascaded around her striking face and her fulls lips just ever-so-slightly parted, Gorya took in her appearance.
She stared at the sleeping figure, memorising the features on her face as if she hadn't been doing it for the past 5 years already. The face that she once used to want to punch so bad had become her favourite sight. That she still wanted to punch sometimes.
Gorya's fingers twitched as she looked at the moles on Shasha's face. Not being able to hold back, she reached her hand and rested it against Shasha's cheek, brushing over beauty marks scattered over her pretty face.
Still in her sleep, Shasha move a little under her touch, as if she was leaning into her hand, and hummed softly in contentment. Gorya smiled to herself, doing this enough times to already know that Shasha's reaction was the same every time.
Sometimes Shasha would randomly ask her if she knew how much she loved Gorya. Gorya would tease her and tell her she didn't and that Shasha should act like it then. But in reality, Gorya could tell, very easily. The way Shasha reacted when Gorya touched her, even while fully asleep, the way she looked at her when she thought Gorya wasn't looking, the way her eyes light up after a long day when when she sees Gorya waiting for her at the door.
Gorya knew, of course she did.
Gorya brushed a stray strand of hair behind Shasha's ear, giving her a better view of her face. Shasha was painfully, unfairly attractive. Gorya had always thought that, even at the beginning when she couldn't stand her. Why else would Gorya propose a no-strings attached situation if she didn't at least find Shasha insanely hot?
Gorya sighed and took her hand away. She reached for her phone on the side table. She knew sleep wasn't going to come anytime soon, so she might as well catch up on what's happening on social media. She hadn't been online since they got off their flight.
As soon as she clicked onto Twitter, her feed was bombarded with paparazzi pictures of her and Shasha in New York, taken just hours ago. They were pictured walking along the sidewalk and into the hotel they were currently staying in. In the photos, Gorya, tired from the long flight, looked pissed as she glanced around and Shasha had a neutral expression, head down with sunglasses to hide her eyes.
Gorya had thought she saw a quick flash of light on the way here but she brushed it off, thinking it was just the weariness from her travels. Now she knew those damn paps had been following her. It's not like she was absolutely against being photographed, it was their job after all. But a warning would've been a little nice, she would've even touched up her makeup and tried not to look like she was out for murder.
Because Gorya knew, any picture with her and Shasha in it together was gonna go viral as soon as it was posted on the internet. Ever since Shasha started taking on more director roles and Gorya launching her own fashion brand, their popularity had sky-rocketed, even reaching a more international fan base.
Fans and spectators and haters all had their own theories and ideas on their relationship and they would always go crazy whenever a new photo of them dropped. They would argue and spread rumours and even post fan-speculation that would be scarily close to the truth.
Letting curiosity get the better of her, she scrolled to the comments to see what people had been saying about them this time.
@goryaismymom: i really don't understand why gorya is still working with shasha, it's so obvious that she hates her lol
@shashagoryatruther: ok ok let me be delulu for a bit, but they look like such a power couple here omg Shasha should ask Gorya to date already, they'd be unstoppable.
Gorya laughed softly. There were some truths to these comments. Yes, Gorya did hate when they first started working together but that was years ago. And just because she hated her first doesn't mean she wasn't the one who asked Shasha out first.
***
"Shasha!" Gorya stormed into her dressing room one day on set. All the makeup and hair stylists that were working on Shasha's look for the shoot immediately froze upon seeing the small fiery woman barge in. They immediately backed off and exited the room without a word, knowing that Shasha's manager was not one to be messed with.
But Gorya didn't come here as Shasha's manager.
"Yes?" Shasha asked in amusement, lazily turning around to stare at Gorya's furrowed brows and crossed arms.
"Why has it been so long?" Gorya asked impatiently.
"So long what?" Shasha asked, confused. "Did I do something wrong?"
"More like what you didn't do," Gorya snorted and walked up closer to Shasha who was still seated in her makeup chair. "It's been a month since we both confessed our feelings, why haven't you asked me to be your girlfriend yet?"
Shasha burst out laughing, which only agitated Gorya more. Shasha noticed that Gorya looked like she was going to hit her so she quickly pulled out her phone.
"Well, if you had just been patient for a few more hours, you would've gotten your wish," Shasha smirked and proudly showed her phone to Gorya. One the screen was Shasha's holiday villa, all done up for a romantic date night. With petals scattered all over and candles waiting to be lit, Shasha looked more like she was planning to propose than ask Gorya to be her girlfriend. "I had everything prepared, it just took a while to plan."
"Oh," Gorya muttered, staring at the screen. Her cheeks were red, but not from embarrassment, more just from the shyness, seeing how Shasha had put in so much effort. But she quickly composed herself. "Well, you still took too long. So I'm asking you first."
Gorya hastily pulled out a folded piece of paper out of her bag and handed it to Shasha as if she were annoyed. Shasha raised a brow. She unfolded the letter and read the words.
'I love you. Will you be my girlfriend?'
Shasha started grinning. She was grinning so hard, her eyes pulled into crescent moons and she couldn't help but let out a small laugh at how cute this hot-tempered woman was being.
Gorya slapped her on her shoulder, seeing how giddy Shasha looked. "Stop being weird and answer the question."
"Yes," Shasha nodded, still smiling. "I'll be your girlfriend. And I love you too."
Gorya fought really hard to hide the smile that was forming on her face but she knew that Shasha caught the way the corner of her lips quirked up slightly. "Okay, good. I'll see you tonight then."
Gorya turned to walk off but Shasha caught her by the arm and pulled her back. "Wait, you're just gonna leave without giving your girlfriend a kiss?"
"Shasha!" Gorya protested, pushing Shasha away by the shoulders as she tried to lean in even more. "You're gonna ruin your makeup! They'll be wondering why it's all smudged!"
"They're not done with it anyway," Shasha replied as she puckered her lips and tried to move in closer again. Gorya shouted at her to stop but her nonchalant facade faded as a laugh slipped out of her mouth.
"I can't believe I'm going to be stuck with you now."
***
Gorya smiled as she remembered the night Shasha was supposed to ask her to be her girlfriend. They had amazing food and even better wine and stayed up till the crack of dawn rediscovering each other but as official girlfriends instead.
She scrolled further down, seeing more comments left under the post.
@shashaownsme: Why are they always alone together? Is this really a work trip or a romantic getaway hahaha just date already
@shagordailyupdates: Definitely a work trip, Gorya's first international store is opening in New York tomorrow and Shasha is the brand ambassador.
@shashashashasha: hey maybe it's both lol
@goryaplsonechance: nah, pretty sure it's strictly professional business, shasha would've told everyone by now if they were dating
@goryashashaontopofme: Plot twist! They've already are dating, Gorya just doesn't like the attention so they're keeping it hidden (I know I need therapy, let me be delusional pls)
Sure, at first Gorya wanted to keep it hidden, but not for the reason that fans usually think.
***
"Why can't I show off my talented, beautiful, hot girlfriend to the world," Shasha asked sulkily. The topic had come up a few times in passing since they started dating but this morning, over pancakes and oatmeal, Shasha had seriously brought up the subject again.
"Not that I don't want you to Sha," Gorya scooted closer to her girlfriend and leaned her head against her arm. "I'd love to tell everyone that you're off the market and to back off." Shasha smiled at that. "But I want to release my own clothing brand soon and I don't want them to think that I only became successful because I'm dating a top model."
"I just hired a great PR team, they can handle it."
"But I don't want my brand to have that image associated with that rumour at all." Gorya replied, sounding a little defeated. "Plus, I don't want your fans to say that you're taking a break from modelling because of me."
Shasha wanted to argue. Who cares what people think? She's got a team to handle all the negative publicity and stuff anyway. But Shasha understood where Gorya was coming from. It was easy for Shasha to ignore all the negativity since she had been in the spotlight her whole life. But Gorya has just only dip her toes in. She would hate to see Gorya get hurt just because Shasha wanted to show off.
So Shasha kissed the top of her head and respected Gorya's wishes. "Okay, teerak. I'll hold off on it."
"Thank you," Gorya sighed and hugged Shasha's arm. "Only until I get my brand off of the ground. After that, you can post as many pictures as you want."
Shasha grinned. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have Gorya all to herself for a while.
***
Weeks became months became years. Shasha was still modelling on the side but was more focused on directing campaigns and shots instead of being directed. Gorya's brand was well known in Thailand and slowly making its way to the global market. If they wanted to, they could tell the world that they had been together for a while now. But Gorya figured that the more time they spent being private about it, the more comfortable they got with that privacy. It was nice.
At this point in their relationship, they weren't actively trying to hide it and they both agreed that if it happens, it happens. They wouldn't mind people knowing either way.
More comments flooded the post as Gorya began to scroll again. And then, something caught Gorya's eye. A comment that made her blood boil.
@ohmygorsh: is it just me or is shasha getting a bit big? no hate tho, guess she's letting herself go since she's not modelling much anymore haha
Gorya was ready to drag this person to filth. Her face felt hot and her eyebrows furrowed. Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, itching to shoot back a snarky reply to defend her girlfriend, but her girlfriend's words played in her head.
'Just ignore them, Gorya. They just want attention and clout. If you respond you're just giving them what they want.'
So she put her phone down for a bit to calm herself down. She took a breath in and out, trying to chase away the anger that was threatening to overflow.
How dare someone say that about her woman? First of all, Shasha always has and always will be the most attractive person Gorya has ever laid eyes on.
Second of all, that is an insane thing to say about a person that had been modelling since she was a kid. Shasha always had to watch what she ate and she opened up to Gorya one time how it really affected her in her teens years. Thankfully, as she grew older, she learnt how to have a better relationship with food but once in a while, old habits tend to die hard.
Lastly, that comment was blatantly false. It was thanks to Shasha taking on less modelling roles that actually made her take care of herself more instead of 'letting herself go'. She allowed herself to eat more balanced meals now. Her old manager used to tell her to avoid weights because nobody would hire her if she looked too muscular. Now, Shasha could hit the weights like she always wanted to do. Gorya tsked in annoyance. Yes Shasha was 'getting bigger' but most of that was muscle.
And Gorya, for one, absolutely loved it. Shasha could always pick her up with ease but lately, it was really as if she weight nothing. Not to mention the unbearable sight of Shasha without a shirt.
God, she was so hot.
Gorya remembered a particular day she was finding it extra hard to keep her hands to herself.

"Shasha! I'm home!"
Gorya had just gotten back from work. She was expecting to see Shasha since it was her off day that day.
What she wasn't expecting was to see a sweaty Shasha sprawled on their couch.
Gorya stopped in her tracks, completely distracted by the sight before her.
"Oh, hi, sorry, lemme rest for a moment then greet you properly. I think I overworked myself at the gym just now."
Gorya dropped her bag and walked over to front of the couch to get a better look.
She really shouldn't have.
Shasha was in a tank top and sweatpants. With her long legs manspreading and her arms stretched out resting on the back her long black was let out of its usually bun when Shasha worked out, looking messy and slightly damp as it fell down behind her. Her sweatpants were pulled down to her hipbones and the edge of her tank top was lifted ever-so-slightly, revealing those perfect abs that were now glistening in sweat. Not the mention those lean arms and shoulders. Gorya noticed the way her muscles twitched slightly, probably from the overexertion. Shasha was still breathing hard, cheeks slightly red with her face and neck completely covered in sweat.
She looked absolutely delicious and Gorya was starving. And Shasha had no idea the nasty thoughts that were running through her girlfriend's mind.
Fuck, she needed her so bad.
What really killed her though, was when Shasha looked up at her. She was confused, of course she would be, because her girlfriend had said nothing and just stopped in front of her just to look at her. So when Shasha said, "Gorya" to get her attention, her voice was rough and low and she sounded out of breath from how hard she was breathing, Gorya lost all her restraint.
She climbed onto lap without warning, wrapping her arms around Shasha's neck and pulling her into a harsh kiss. Gorya immediately moaned into her mouth and Shasha wasted no time wrapping her own arms around Gorya's waist. But after a few seconds, Shasha pulled back, in a daze.
"Wait, Gorya, what's happening?"
"You look so hot right now, so just shut up."
Gorya pulled her back in so that their lips met once again but Shasha stopped her with a slight smirk in her lips, making Gorya tsk in annoyance. "Baby, I'd love to, but let me rest a little first please? Just a few minutes?"
"It's okay, you don't have to do anything." Gorya bit her lip and looked down as she ran her hands over Shasha's torso, feeling the ridges of her abs and the way her muscles contracted at her touch. She dragged her eyes back up to meet Shasha gaze. "You can just sit back and enjoy the view." Gorya slowly removed her shirt and tossed it aside, loving the heat of Shasha's eyes on her bare midriff. She began to move her hips. "And let me use you."
***
Gorya blinked and let out a slow breath. Just thinking about it made her shiver. She glanced over at Shasha who was still peacefully sleeping She really shouldn't be thinking about these things right now.
She pushed that thought out of her mind and turned her attention back to her phone. A few more comments caught her eye.
@shashaswhorewife: Ugh, Shasha looks too damn good here, she could do whatever she wants to me fr I'd gladly be one of her girls
@steponmesha: Step aside Gorya, lemme take your place instead if you don't want her hehe
@dontlookmom: damn i want her to **** my ***** ** **** with *** ***** until i *** *** **** her... 0:)
Gorya raised a brow, easily deciphering what the user was trying to say. She wasn't jealous, just amused that they'd be so bold to make these claims to the world. She glanced around the room where her's and Shasha's clothes strewn across the floor and furniture. Why would she be jealous when Shasha was laying naked beside her, completely spent from worshiping Gorya and doing to her exactly what the comment wanted Shasha to do to them for hours before Shasha fell asleep.
Gorya knew long before they even got together that people would be thirsting over Shasha and she couldn't blame them. 5 years in, they both accepted that it was inevitable that having an attractive partner meant them getting hit on and flirted with constantly. That didn't mean that Gorya didn't get jealous, especially in the start, not that she would've admitted it back then.
While Gorya's jealousy was quiet, Shasha's was loud and burnt brightly, though she wouldn't admit it either. But they both knew, so it didn't need to be said.
***
Gorya found herself at a club one night. It was Bambi's birthday and she had ask Shasha and Gorya to celebrate with her. They were sitting at a booth when Bambi spotted them and rushed over.
"SHASHA!!! GORYA!!!"
"Hi Bambi! Happy birthday!" Shasha greeted her, standing up to give her a hug.
"Happy birthday Bambi," Gorya said, following suit.
"Thank you, thank you, let me introduce you to my friends from work!" She gestured to the three women behind her. "They-"
"Bambi!" Prim called out, cutting off Bambi's sentence and stealing her attention.
"Oh, Prim is finally here! You guys mingle first, let me go greet my baby."
She ran off and the other three women sat at the booth, almost seeming like they were fighting to sit beside Shasha. Gorya raised a brow and just observed them.
They completely ignored Gorya, happily introducing themselves only to Shasha who was just nodding politely, not reciprocating their overly excited energy but not avoiding them either.
Gorya felt heat travel through her body. She knew what their intentions were by the way they leaned in and were talking over each other to get Shasha's attention. She wanted to tell them to fuck off but she didn't want to cause a scene at her friend's birthday. And, if Bambi knew these people from work, anything she said to them could backfire since she was just starting out in the fashion industry. She couldn't really tell if Shasha also knew what they were doing but all she knew was that she needed some space for a breather and alcohol in her system to deal with this.
She pursed her lips in annoyance and rolled her eyes, watching the way the girls were now showering Shasha with compliments about how good she looked in her projects.
"Shasha," Gorya called and her girlfriend immediately looked at her. "I'm going to get us drinks, I'll be back."
"Wait, let me follow you!"
"It's okay," Gorya patted her arm and slid out of the booth, trying hard not to show any indication that she was pissed off. "I'll be right back."
Gorya made her way to the bar and order two cocktails when a stranger approached her. She was tall and had striking features. The way she carried herself reminded her of Shasha, especially when they first met, entitled and snobbish and too arrogant for their own good.
'Must be another model,' Gorya thought to herself.
"Hi," the woman smiled, charming and confident. She exact same smile Shasha wore when she was picking her next target to bring to bed long before they started dating. She knew this archetype like the back of her hand, she had to deal with her girlfriend, after all.
'As if this night couldn't get any worse,' Gorya thought. 'Now I have to deal with another Shasha before she became tolerable. And less pretty to look at too.'
Gorya nodded politely, wishing the drinks would come faster so she could down it. "Hello."
"What are you doing all alone?" The woman asked, voice low, leaning in closer under the guise of wanting Gorya to hear her better. "Do you need some company?"
Gorya was about to decline when she felt a firm arm wrap itself around her waist. She fought back a smirk at the familiar touch.
"She's not alone, she's fine," Shasha said not unkindly but not hiding her irritation either.
The woman raised her brow. "Ah, your girlfriend, I suppose?"
"Yup," Gorya said, almost smugly as she felt Shasha stand behind her, fully wrapping both arms around her, practically burying her face in Gorya's neck.
The other woman clearly got the hint and awkwardly removed herself as Shasha started to get handsy, kissing Gorya's neck like they weren't in public. Gorya turned around in Shasha's arms, bringing her hands up to rest them on her girlfriend's shoulders.
"Let's get out of here," Shasha whispered and pulled back, pupils wide with a dark look to them, looking at Gorya as if she wanted to tear her apart.
"Are you jealous, Phi?" Gorya questioned teasingly.
"I just wanted to scare her off," Shasha whispered roughly, ignoring the question. "But now I actually want you."
Gorya felt a shiver run down her spine and before she knew it, they ended up at home, lips crashing and clothes coming undone before they could even close the door behind them.
"Why did you leave me at the booth with them? Why didn't you tell them to back off?" Shasha spoke against her lips as she unzipped Gorya's dressed and tugged at it.
"I didn't want to cause a scene," Gorya moaned, feeling Shasha's lips against her collarbone, trying hard to unbutton her girlfriend's shirt with the distraction. "Why didn't you tell them to back off?"
"I didn't want to be rude to Bambi’s friends. I thought you were saving me when you said you wanted to get us drinks."
With Shasha's shirt finally off, Gorya dragged her nails up the taller woman's abs, all the way up to her broad shoulders, making Shasha shiver. Gorya roughly moved back to kiss her again, dragging her nails down Shasha's lean back, hard enough to leave a mark.
"Fuck, Gorya," Shasha panted at the sting.
"It's okay, they can try all they want, I know you're mine anyway," Gorya whispered against her lips. "You were so possessive when that woman was talking to me."
"No," Shasha denied, running her hands all over Gorya's curves. Gorya loved the way those hands touched her. "Just giving her a clear idea that you're taken. I know these types, they don't back down easily."
Gorya laughed as Shasha unhooked her bra, tossing it across the room. "Yeah, because you're that type."
Shasha paused and looked down at her girlfriend, heart slamming in her chest at how gorgeous she is. Hair messy, lipstick smeared and big eyes staring at her. "No, not anymore." Shasha lowered her lips to the shell of Gorya's ear, tugging on it. "I only want you."
"Mm," Gorya hummed and pushed Shasha off of her. Confused, Shasha just watched as Gorya took her panties off and tossed it at her girlfriend's directions. "Prove it then," she said coyly as she walked off to their bedroom.
"God," was all Shasha groaned, taking in the sight of the naked woman she was so deeply in love with before hurriedly followed behind her.
***
Gorya's face was flushed as she snapped out of her reverie. Okay she really really shouldn't be thinking about it now. Shasha wasn't even awake to help her out.
But damn, Shasha really did do a number on her that night. She remembered being so sore the next morning she couldn't barely move. Gorya bit her lip to stop herself from smiling, knowing well that she'd be the only one to experience it for the rest of her life.
Sleep was starting to get the best of her but she couldn't help but notice the fan speculations that started popping up. People were arguing and theorising.
@shaisastar: yall still wondering if they're dating when they basically confirmed it years ago
@deluluisnotthesolulu: when did they say it??
@gssisreal: They haven't publicly announced it cuz they like being private but they're always together and they always randomly talk about each other
@jfcyalljobless: Lmao that literally doesn't prove anything??? Pretty sure Gorya can't stand Shasha anyway, she always looks annoyed
@gssireal: Would you keep talking about someone you hate in a positive way?
@goryayayaya: they are def dating, aint no way you can you both be that attractive and hang out with each other for years without developing feelings lol def girlfriends atp
Gorya was having fun reading all the comments about her and Shasha's relationship. It was entertaining seeing everyone guess wrongly because yes, they had been together for years but they weren't dating anymore.
And that's because Shasha had proposed just a few months ago.
***
Gorya knew Shasha was going to propose. They had been talking about it for a year. Shasha kept asking her if she'd say yes, what kind of ring she'd like, how would she would like it to happen, even how their married life would look like together. What Gorya didn't know was when she was going to do it.
And that almost drove her crazy.
She thought she was going to do it the first time Shasha brought up the idea of proposing to Gorya. She thought it on a random Tuesday afternoon at lunch when Shasha was acting a little weird only to find out it was because Shasha was worried about a new project she took on. She thought it would happen a few days later after she caught Shasha measuring her finger while she was asleep. She thought it again after Shasha surprised her with a fancy dinner after her successful launch of her fashion brand.
But it never happened.
A year. That's how long Gorya had to wait for Shasha to finally pop the question. A damn year. Gorya had already been the first to ask Shasha out so she absolutely refused to be the one to propose as well.
Gorya knew that Shasha was always one for the dramatics. Shasha liked to do things grand and over-the-top and that was what Gorya had expected Shasha to do for the proposal.
So imagine her surprise when she came back from work one day to see Shasha already waiting for her at the door wearing Gorya's favourite suit on her.
"Shasha? What are you doing? Why are you wearing that?"
Gorya peered around and noticed that the table was perfectly set up for dinner, music playing in the background and the lights turned down lower than they usually were.
"For the past year, I thought about the hundreds of ways I could ask you to marry me," Shasha started, taking a deep breath and reaching out to hold Gorya's hands in her own. "I wanted to plan something big, something that would show you how much I love you, something that was worthy for you. But nothing I could ever do would show you just how much you mean to me." Shasha paused and chuckled to herself. "Also I was taking too long and I know you're impatient."
"Sha," Gorya warned her, but Shasha just smiled and continued.
"And then I remembered something you told me. About how as much as you loved going out for trips and events, these nights are what you look forward to the most. The nights where we finally come back to each other after a long day and enjoy a good meal."
Shasha looked over to their dining table.
"So here I am, dressed up in your favourite outfit, playing your favourite music, made you your favourite food, and got you your favourite wine. Because I can't do one big gesture to encapsulate how much I love you. So instead, this is me promising to prove to you how much I care through small gestures, every day, for the rest of our lives."
Gorya's heart felt like it was going to burst. Tears started welling up in her eyes before Shasha could even finish her speech. Gorya didn't know she could smile so hard until her cheeks started to hurt till now.
Shasha got down on one knee and pulled out a small velvet box. She revealed the ring and Gorya had to fight the urge to just put it on herself already. It was beautiful, exactly the kinda Gorya wanted. Nothing too big or flashy, a diamond just enough to tell the world that Shasha had promised her eternity.
"Gorya, I promise you adventure and excitement. But I also promise you nights like these. Comfort and quiet. And if I get to end my day like this with you for the rest of my life, I would do it in every lifetime. So, will you marry me?"
Gorya immediately lunged forward to wrap her arms around Shasha's neck, squeezing her hard. "Yes! Of course, you idiot!" She pulled back just enough to smash her lips against her now fiancée's lips. "Took you long enough!" Shasha laughed into the kiss before pulling away.
"Let me put the ring on my fiancée first!"
Gorya felt giddy, hearing Shasha call her that and feeling the cold metal of the ring slip onto her finger. She flexed her fingers, admiring the way the diamond caught the light. "God, it's so perfect."
"You're perfect," Shasha said, admiring Gorya admire the ring.
Gorya scoffed with a smile on her face. "I can't believe I have the world's cheesiest fiancée."
"That you agreed to marry, by the way," Shasha reminded jokingly, pulling Gorya into a tight hug. "So now you're gonna have to deal with all this cheesiness for the rest of your life."
"Oh no, what have I done," Gorya giggled into Shasha's shoulder, wiping away the happy tears that were rolling down her cheeks. "You've come a long way from not knowing how to tell me you like me."
Shasha laughed. "That was a long time ago. I think we've both came a long way since then."
***
Gorya looked at the ring on her finger and smiled. She turned to look at her sleeping fiancée who, at some point, turned around so her back was now facing her.
An idea popped into her head.
Maybe it was the sleepiness getting to her, maybe it was the rush of emotions, she didn't know. But she made a spur of the moment decisions to really give the people something to talk about.
She turned on her phone camera and quickly shot a selfie. In the photo, Gorya was clearly lying next to someone, long black head of hair was the only indication of who it might be. Gorya's left hand was barely in frame, with only the band of her engagement ring slightly visible. Something only people who really zoomed in and looked at every inch of the picture would see.
Without thinking twice, she posted the photo. Shasha was gonna have a field day when she woke up, that's for sure. As soon as she posted it, she had a bunch of notifications come in. She didn't know what they were saying and she didn't want to. She'd leave that for tomorrow. She silenced her phone and placed it back on her bedside table. The fans and haters could say whatever they wanted. At the end of the day, Shasha and Gorya knew what they were to each other and that's all that mattered.
So, Gorya shifted closer to Shasha, wrapping an arm around her waist and curling against Shasha's back. She let sleep overtake her as she held her fiancée in her arms with a faint smile on her lips, knowing that whatever happens, she had Shasha with her.
