“I told him you could help.” Christopher says with such confidence that Eddie’s heart jumps into his throat. Because to Eddie, this isn’t a fight he can win. “Please help him.”
“Christopher.” Eddie whispers and looks back down at the likely dying wild animal his son brought home.
“Please?” Christopher’s eyes are wide and wet and looking at him with such hope.
What can Eddie do? Say no? Of course not. “I’ll try, but Mijo, it looks pretty hurt.”
“You can save him.” Christopher insists. “I know you can.”

"Finally giving in, Buck dropped the weights and spun to face Diaz with a snarl. “What?”
“What, man?” Diaz replied taken aback, his eyes snapping up from Buck’s chest to his face quickly.

“Sorry, no.” Buck raised an eyebrow, strangely disappointed in his answer."

Summary
With his secret out, Buck has finally embraced his true nature and begun using his shifter abilities while at work. Once fearful that others would be terrified of his shifter form, Buck has grown more confident thanks to Eddie's support and that of the 118.
During a challenging rescue, the unexpected leaves Buck injured and in need of saving himself, testing the strength of his new-found acceptance and the bonds he's formed with his team.
