Since the finale I've toyed with this concept in my head too- Interesting to see it put into words! The fact of the matter is, Alastor can exist in a world without Vox, but there really is no Vox without Alastor.
I also always wondered if overloading the machine would've killed Lucifer along with it. He's as close as anyone could be to immortality. For his sake I rather like to think it would've; the alternative is unimaginably cruel.
I can only imagine Sera's face watching all this happen oops

And yeah, I’ve wondered that too! It’s really interesting to imagine what could’ve happened if things really did end with Vox succeeding. The possibilities are genuinely endless
Now I’m just imagining Sera staring down at Hell and watching Vox have a mental breakdown while screaming at no one 😭 She must be so confused haha
