This is actually so cute and sweet!!! And feels so true to their character like with Lee’s quickness to explain even if the question would normally be taken as rude and to do so so earnestly and then Gaaras whole evaluation of Lee! He’s so stoic about it? but not in a cold or calculating way? It’s more like he’s methodical about his love and his interest in Lee, everything is catalogued to be quietly loved and admired. Idk if I worded that right but I think it really fit Gaaras character and felt very in his voice to be so lowkey but devotional. I don’t really hear the words when I read but I could fully picture Gaara and Lees faces for these scenes! <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

Lee strikes me as a passionate and earnest person whose responses and interactions are thoughtful and even surprising at times with how... straightforward or pure his questions or observations can be!
Methodical!! yes that is the word I think of when it comes to Gaara's thought processing style and interaction with Lee. I feel like he would pay close attention to Lee, and want to understand the gravitational draw and feelings he has for Lee. Keep trying to understand that puzzle! He is indeed devotional <33
