    this was far far too much fun thank you for sharing
    i adore the way that the utter mortification experienced by calling his master dad completely overroad any qualms or upsets qifrey had about scaring olly, boyo said "i have exactly 2 (two) sources of comfort and they both distress me equally"

    also beldaruit catching him and just plonking him softly on his lap was the sweetest thing,, i love when the master—apprentice relationship is reaffirmed as familial and caring

      -> Qifrey is going through ALL the stages of grief simultaneously, he figured he was distressed enough for some cuddles from his best friend😭 he was not expecting to be further distressed by Olruggio basically saying, "...yeah, duh. isn't he?"

      BELDARUIT IS HIS DAD AND I WILL DIE ON THAT HILL!!! that's his boy! he birthed him himself! i love them sm, i love how the care Qifrey was raised with comes out with his own apprentices, THEY'RE SO CUTE!!
