God it's a terrible situation she's in. There's danger on all sides. And the ridiculous thing is the monster is the one that will probably end up rescuing her.
I think the moneys coming form him, and he'll be at the ball-but that's just my thought.
I think the conniving bastard will try to "marry her" properly, and her father will see it as getting her off his hands.
Sucks that her family kind of suck right now, after all she's done for them.
