    I love Rory so much...almost as much as River & the Doctor. Kindness & patience, that's Rory! This was a beautiful little scene, I could see it being filmed, very vivid! Every girl should have her own Rory. He should give the Doctor a little talking to about how he treats the young River. As much as I dislike HoRS (and for the record, she was very young there and the plot hole was MASSIVE) I liked how you wove her feelings about the Doctor at that age into the conversation here.

    I got to meet them all (Matt, Alex, Karen & Arthur) in 2017 at DragonCon during their autograph session. It was sad that Arthur Darvil didn't have much of a line so I went over and chatted him and his minder up. I had Eleven, River, and Ponds buttons on my shirt and he noticed I had a Rory button and said "You have a Rory button! Wow!" I told him that I had to have one because Rory was awesome and inspiring. I got a genuine smile and he even helped me get an upgrade on our photo session because he was added late to the photo op and they sold out. He got them to add more upgrades and we got the entire Pond Family Team Tardis photoshoot! I was in heaven, thanks to Arthur, aka Rory!

      Oh wow, that's amazing! They all sound like such wonderful people, and it's so cool that you got to meet them!! Alex is my actual hero and I think I'd probably cry if I ever met her lol. I saw her in the show "ER" when I was little and promptly decided I wanted to be a doctor -- that is, until I realised how much math that involved! So I became a journalist and moody academic instead -- no numbers required. But because I'm a journalist, I usually get press credentials to interview the talent at local conventions. It's always amazing and so fun, but I haven't actually met any of the DW folks yet. Waiting on the day I get to interview Alex, though!

      Sorry for my little rant, but as always, thank you so much for reading! So glad you enjoyed this fic; I'm a total sucker for River and Rory's (under-explored) father-daughter friendship. Every girl certainly needs a Rory!
