Well that was messed up and also disgusting. Honestly, Amber is such a mess that it's a wonder (and not a good one) that she is allowed to keep custody of Justin after he literally saves her after she ODs, which I assume is what's happening here, choking wouldn't have vomit and seems too average for Amber. I'm happy Monty is there even if he isn't because otherwise Justin would be alone to deal with this and that's terrible, the image of him crying and desperate trying to keep her alive is so sad, him being alone during that is just the icing on the cruel cake.
Sorry, the previous two were kinda chill and then this one just jumps out. You got the context right, they’re trying to keep her alive until the ambulance arrives, and sadly (because it’s probably from past experience) Justin knows how to administer life support. I’m sure part of Monty wanted to walk right back out when he stumbled on this horror show, but it’s definitely preferable, however marginally, for Justin not to be alone.
