        If he did blow up the planet Leia is on hed probably be reeling from Leia's presence in the force dying / unkowingly his flesh and blood dying. Or maybe not since Lukes next to him and in one of the legends books, Vader couldnt tell Luke was dead because he mistaked Leia's force presence for Luke.

          Hmmm, that's pretty interesting. Since Leia isn't aware of her Force sensitivity, I don't think Vader senses her death (if she does die on that base) through the Force. And since Luke is standing right next to him, Vader probably isn't focused on anything else in the Force except him. Just my humble opinion though!

            If Leia's force presence is able to cover Luke's death then Luke's force presence should be able to cover Leia (This is a legends AU comic, it's pretty interesting if you haven't heard of it. Leia turns in one AU, in the other both Luke and Leia are there instead of just Luke and then there's one where Luke dies and Leia has to become the Jedi the galaxy needs.)
