Summary
In order for a god to die, their domain must be passed on to a successor. When Diana defeated Ares, she became the new goddess of War; as the fiery wreckage of the German plane sunk below the waves of the North Sea, the ancient goddess Aphrodite carried Steve Trevor to the surface and bestowed upon him the title of god of Love.
The god of Love attends a gala hosted by Bruce Wayne. The two meet on a balcony.
"So, star-crossed lovers, eh?" The man said conversely, as if recalling some prior conversation of which Bruce had no recollection. "You've got a balcony and everything," the visitor chuckled. "Bit cliche, isn't it, Romeo?"
