Summary
Often described as one of the most difficult tests in the world, the Master Sommelier Exam consists of three parts: wine theory, wine service, and a blind tasting of six wines. In the blind tasting, candidates must use deductive tasting to identify an unknown wine by grape, region, and vintage. Dozens take the exam each year. Only a handful pass.
The sommelier AU no one asked for: Sebastian, Lewis, and Nico are somms training to achieve the highest certification the wine world has to offer.
