Summary
“You called me here,” he mumbles with what little rational thought he has left. The plant tilts its head, oddly bird-like, and Leon reaches out a shaking hand to brush his fingertips against the woody curve of its coils. Every bulb in the room brightens in response, and suddenly, there’s a flurry of movement behind him and he’s swept off his feet to fall face-first into the embrace of the floral tangle.
(Leon encounters a bioweapon in the sewers under Raccoon City that, for once, doesn't want to kill him.)

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Leon closes the document and picks up its folder to slide it home— but then he notices something he hadn’t before. Weight lingering inside the manila, even with its content in his hands. Curiously, he tips the folder over again, and, with a plastic-y clatter, out tumbles a handful of cassette tapes.
Scribbled on the label of each one, in handwriting that is now familiar, is the name Chávez.
In the aftermath of everything that happened in Raccoon City, Leon finds some answers to a nearly-forgotten mystery.
