Hyunjin guessed that maybe this was what being alive was all about. It was misery, heaps upon heaps of misery most of the time, and then every now and then you’d find a little pocket of joy and you tried to wriggle your way into it and make it last; even though you knew you couldn’t live there, you still tried, every time, to live there, to make your home in there. And that was why pop songs on the radio were always saying, forever! Forever! If I could only find a way to make this night last forever….
