Summary
Underground Doctor Jiyan x Mafia Boss Geshu Lin
“I’d like to request some-“, the man, or rather spawn from hell, perked up again and took another step towards the steps leading down to the main room, resulting in soft plit-platter as some of the blood dripped down onto the previously so beautifully clean tiles. Jiyan grimaced in a mixture of annoyance and frustration.
“Don’t you dare move one step. You’re bleeding on my floor. Disgusting.”
Instead of being sorry or at least feel ashamed of his actions, the stranger just smirked, commenting with way more snark a man in his physical state should possess: “You’re awfully picky about hygiene for an underground doctor.”
“And you’re awfully chatty for someone from the mafia.”Jiyan gets an unexpected and very unwanted visitor after closing hours. He notices that the man reeks of danger (but who doesn’t in this cursed city?), but he underestimates just how dangerous this individual is…

Summary
Jiyan gets called to disperse a Sonoro Sphere which has appeared at the very spot where the Battle Beneath the Crescent took place. In the Sonoro Sphere, he meets someone he has never expected to see again in this life.
Before Jiyan could yell out an apology, the girls already rushed away, leaving him behind with nothing but the cruel memories of their death and deafening silence. Behind him, all of a sudden, he could hear someone click his tongue. No, not just someone. He would recognize this sound anywhere.
“Are you done staring? I need to pass.”
Jiyan’s heart skipped a beat. This voice…
“Hellooo? You deaf? I called out to you like five times. Plus I even tapped you on the shoulder. I swear, if you swat my hand away one more fucking time, I’ll cut it off. Hey? HEY?! Are you messing with me-“
“General?“Series

Summary
Swap AU where Jiyan died in the Battle Beneath the Crescent and Geshu Lin survived (and he's not very happy about it). It's dark. Very dark. No Fluff or Comfort to be found.
Geshu Lin should feel happy at this circumstance, but instead he just tasted bitterness. The rice wine burned his throat. Jiyan had always hated drinking. Called it ‘alarming self-destructive behavior’ and asked him if he wanted to see a psychologist.
“Hah, self-destructive, my ass…”
Geshu Lin put the cool bottle rim against his lips. His lips tingled. They were chapped, traces of his long walks through the desert. He hadn’t given much explanation to the Magistrate for his absence. Why should he? They had never cared for his existence when he had saved their ass, why should now he feel any obligation to dance to their tune?
General Geshu Lin was not to be controlled. And yet, one person had managed to do so.

Summary
Following Jiyan's betrayal, Geshu Lin dies in the Battle Beneath the Crescent.... or does he? When he wakes up, he finds himself back in his room, three days prior to the final battle. Will he get his chance of well-deserved justice? Will he be able to change fate? ... Or will everything turn out the same? (Second chapter will drop in the span of the next week, probably sooner than later)
“Why are you doing this?”, he finally brought over his lips. A loveless, hollow whisper – getting lost in the ear-deafening silence in the room. And yet Jiyan heard it. His hands stopped for a moment, before he quietly answered: “You seemed like you needed it.”
“I don’t need your pity.”
He didn’t need anyone’s pity. But especially not Jiyan’s.
“I’m not pitying you. You’re not a man who would want pity. But I’m worried.”
“I don’t need your worry either.”, Geshu Lin spat out bitterly, “I don’t need you.”The Hurt/No Comfort tag is to be taken seriously.

Summary
Five times Jiyan felt sorry for bothering his General and one time he didn’t.
Cause I read a reddit thread and it said 'What on ao3 makes you realize you're old and the top post was knowing 5+1. WHAT?! I'm not old. I... I'm not...
"I do not recall clinical assessment taking so long. Do you really have the gall to ogle your general?”
On the inside, Jiyan prayed that he didn’t flinch half as much as he feared. Wearing his best customer-face, he made eye-contact with his superior and calmly explained: “I’m sorry to bother you, Sir. But contrary to your former treatment, at least judging by the extensive scarring on your body, I pride myself in providing the best medical care to my patients.”
“I don’t need the best care. I just need this wound to be stitched. Now.”
“The wound caused by the poisonous fangs of a Dreadmane with which you rolled down half a dune hill?”, Jiyan snorted as he carefully began cleaning the wound, “If you’re keen on being in the mortuary in a few days, sure.”Series

Summary
Fluffy story about Jiyan joining the Gulpuff Relay Race (or at least trying to), but he's missing a teammate. Last minute, he runs - literally- into a stranger who helps him out. But why does he feel so familiar?
-> added a fluffy and a little bit steamy chapter 2“Please wait! I hit you pretty bad – are you sure you’re alright?”
“Get your hands off me.”
The hostile hiss stung on Jiyan’s skin and he felt even worse when the man abruptly shrugged his hand off.
“I’m sorry. That was rude of me.”, Jiyan swallowed hard as he began following the man who seemed eager to get away from him.
“It’s even ruder to annoy strangers on the street. What are you, a beggar?”
“Well, actually…”, Jiyan laughed awkwardly, remembering why he was rushing all over the plaza in the first place, “I really might be begging right now.”
“Huh?! Why would the revered General of the Midnight Rangers go around and beg?”, the man snarled out, disgust written all across his face, “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?”Series

Summary
For Geshuweek 2025 Day 5: First snow!
A soft, fluffy (slightly angsty) story where Geshu Lin experiences his first snow and Jiyan is ready to show him the ropes. HAPPY ENDING!His heart was pounding so loudly in his chest that he nearly overheard the dull ‘ploff’ when the snowball hit General Geshu Lin’s shoulder, the snow falling to the ground like white rain.
Slowly, the man turned around to him.
Jiyan knew that he had most definitely just signed his death warrant. But tiredness had shut down any rationality of his and most importantly: It was worth it.Jiyan wore his most innocent smile as he put a hand on his hip, confidently meeting his general’s gaze in a silent challenge.
"You were spacing out, General."Series

Summary
Three days after the Battle Beneath the Crescent, Geshu Lin's funeral is held in Jinzhou. As from the Magistrate expected, Jiyan attends but with each further minute, he realizes that this world never truly cared about the very general who saved them at the cost of his life.
Jiyan snaps.
Later, when everything falls silent, a familiar face appears and grants him company.“Do you hate me for leaving the way I did?”
Jiyan didn’t look up, tightly grabbing the soil beneath him for some kind of support. His vision slowly turned blurry. “I could never hate you.”, he hoarsely rasped out.
Geshu Lin stayed silent for far too long.
“And yet I hurt you.”, he finally whispered, “I’m still hurting you right this very moment.”
“No, you…”
“Jiyan. Just look at you.”Series
