Summary
Theo's transition is going fine, but the world is still falling apart around him. Following the chaos of Gerard, Monroe, and the Anuk-ite, Scott decides to stop being subtle.
'He's almost used to the feeling of comfort. He might actually relax, slow the heart in his chest. It was once his, and then his sister's. Ever since he was resurrected and freed from Hell, a stranger's heart rests there. He can just tell… something in the way he cannot control it anymore.'

Summary
Their relationship develops while Scott does his best to lead, and the pack faces a frightening threat. Scott decides that of all things in his life, some are more important than others.
'The carpet of grass whispers as the breeze moves through it, and it tickles his bare feet as the two of them dance. Foreheads pressed together, Scott's arms around Theo's neck and Theo's hands gripping into his waist. A bird cries out in the distance; Scott can feel it as a small bug crawls across the top of his left foot; Theo shyly ducks his head away until Scott's fingers tilt his chin so they can kiss. And they kiss.'
