Geon likes the colour blue because it reminds him that there is beauty even in a tsunami, that it took a dozen or so light refractions to make the ocean this colour, that nothing ever happens because of a single miracle, that he’s an amalgamation of all the things it took to get him here.
He doesn’t know when Yu started becoming someone Geon cannot live without, someone that he craves to the point of obsession. Maybe it started when Geon’s eyes would automatically search for Yu’s in a crowded room, and when his head pointed like a compass needle in Yu’s direction, he would find the other boy already looking too.

Yu knows he has no monopoly on the sun, no matter how much he wants to draw its warmth into his heart and possess it entirely. Because the sun is very generous and spends its time with everyone, it does not shine solely for him. Amongst the flowers and the trees and the clovers, he is a very ordinary person swaying with the masses.
But he has fallen in love with the sun.
