"One more," he says, and that's all Dream needs to rise and repeat.
Dream once watched Technoblade from afar, from the height of the upper spectator seat, noticing the subtleties. Sometimes he made mistakes, sometimes his opponent did. And now, fighting sword to sword, he sees those mistakes no longer exist. Technoblade has become as perfect as possible, and Dream admires it.

And the whisper, frozen for a moment, stood nearby and waited. He stands behind his soldier, who sits awaiting defeat. His hands are weightless, unable to touch, awaiting permission.
"I ask You," he says, holding his breath, pleading with the last of his breath: "Help me."

"Not yet, but I'm keeping an eye on them. They're not saying anything," he exhales. "But maybe I can finally figure out where their main 'lair' is." The mercenary makes air quotes with his hands, mocking them.

Technoblade enters, his horse at his shoulder, shaking it off first, unaware of the guest. Dream only smirks softly, crossing his arms over his chest, waiting to be acknowledged. A bright green amid the dark fir planks; it stands out, just like the red against the snow. But then Blade slams the door, locks the latch, and pats his cloak, turning his back.
Part of Dream wants to say, "How prudent to turn your back on someone who's bested you in a few sparring matches."
"Dream," Techno says in his low, ordinary voice. Without fear, without hope of deceiving him. It's refreshing, makes him feel human, not just some monster everyone calls him. "What are you doing here?"

Dream looks down. The grass still bears the marks of his peaceful slumber. Now he definitely won't be able to return to enjoy the dampness.
Turning his gaze to Techno, he slightly bends his front paws. Techno knows this is the hunting stance, when Dream is about to pounce, only now his green eyes are fixed on the wolf in front of him. Techno lifts his crouch and quickly rises to his paws, then manages to dart in the opposite direction. As soon as Techno turns, Dream chases after him.
Their pack is still sleepy; such a quick jerk must have woken one of them up, but everyone is used to the fact that these two are always sharing something.
