Met not with the sight of Hizashi - his husband, the very man who’d proposed they’d meet up at their usual spot in the first place - but Present Mic, ridiculous hair updo and all, his usual, reserved smile for one remains nowhere in sight.
“No,” he deadpans.
Mic’s grin falters.
“My husband drags me here a lot,” Shouta continues, yawning curtly. “Haven’t seen him yet, though.”

Hizashi jerks an accusing finger at the raven-haired man.
"I thought ya said this was 'local'."
"It's very local," Shouta agrees coolly.
The blond throws his hands and head up and back in frustration, palms already reaching to cover his scrunched eyes, intent on (not-so carefully) scraping out the sand wedged between his eyelids.
Pro heroes need a vacation sometimes. Hizashi just wonders how the hell they even got here. Or why.

Summary
(It doesn't matter whether Hizashi is Hizashi or Present Mic. As much as Aizawa Shouta would 'love' to admit hating the latter and loving just the former; bringing to light a clear contrast and an obvious conclusion due to their personalities; it is simply too much of a trade, a hard bargain to even dare request.
He loves them both because they mean the world to Hizashi, and loving what Hizashi loves means no difference to him. It's just love.)
Aizawa Shouta reevaluates why he hasn't taken off the life jacket yet.

Hizashi wants to laugh. Let the force of his quirk flow into his voice until it crackles like the static of a microphone dropped wrong. Let the world peer into the fucked up cesspool that is Present Mic split in half, to reveal the horrors that remain Hizashi Yamada underneath. Peel the hero right open like a boiled egg. Let the yolk drip. Watch as ears bleed, prove him right, because nobody wants Hizashi Yamada at his worst.
The thought comes to him out of the blue, as many things do.
'Why hadn’t I been hurt more,' Hizashi wonders absentmindedly, hand stilling in place from where he’d just been brushing his teeth.

Shouta has always prided himself on keeping his feelings for his friend locked tight within his chest. Key thrown away and all; though in truth, it's probably just wedged between the couch cushions.
