"Stop." Medkit feels like he might be sick all over her boots. Something about his tone gives her pause, he assumes, because after a moment of silence her prosthetic hand suddenly grabs his chin and forces him to look up.
"You've taken everything else I've said today so sweetly, what's wrong with this one?" Rifle moves his head around, as if inspecting him, and Medkit wants to crawl into a dark corner and die.
"Rifle. Drop it."
"No, no, now I'm curious. Which part didn't sit well with ya, huh?" With a considering hum, Rifle pushes a strand of his hair out of his face. "It can't be good, 'cause you've been blushin' like a sinner in church this entire time."
If Medkit thought he were going to be sick before, he definitely is now. His heart lurches in his chest when he picks up where she's going with that train of thought, but before he can interject she continues.
"It must be boy, then, huh?"
