It could be neurological, a massive misdiagnosis and a fluke on the hospital's end, or possibly just medical speciesm against hybrids. Textbook pages, diagrams, videos of his studies flash per the millisecond; the same one’s Megumi’s memorized when he attended cram school in elementary. Megumi flips through the documents for the umpteenth time — like there isn’t a line he hasn’t raked over.
But that doesn’t deny the biggest glaring document on the page — a positive blood test for Hybrid Lyssavirus. He presses the heel of his palm against his eye socket; a bludgeoning pain transcends from irritating to debilitating.
