The Dance of Fire and Winter
Generations after the pact between wolf and dragon was forged beneath the weirwoods, the realm has begun to forget.
The South grows comfortable beneath Targaryen rule while the North remembers the true purpose of dragons, the Wall, and the ancient promises sworn in blood. As kings listen more to maesters than memory, the bond between Winterfell and the Iron Throne begins to crack.
When House Targaryen descends toward civil war, dragons turn against dragons and the realm edges closer to ruin. But the North does not ride south for crowns or ambition.
The wolves come to remind the realm what was promised.
As ancient prophecies awaken and forgotten magic stirs once more, the Starks must decide whether the pact can still be saved—or whether fire and winter are doomed to destroy one another at last.
