Summary
Throughout my years of teaching, I’ve kept a list. It’s called Names To Look Up, and it’s pretty self-explanatory. When I have a particularly interesting student, I write their name down to look up when they’re older. The assumption is that they’ll grow up to do great things, and I’ve already got two, from my first few years, that have shown up. Isabella Cabrera, top of her class at Harvard Med, and Vivaan Yadav, who’s published two books already (I read them both the instant they came out; he put me in the acknowledgements!!!)
Joanna Quinn Johnson got her name underlined twice. God, I miss that kid.

Summary
Solomiya’s eyes lighted on me, and she smiled. I smiled back, confused but excited to hear them sing.
“This one is for our fellow Beatles fan, Dr Grace!” she said into the mic, giggling as her voice blared through the room. “Yana, you ready?”
“Ready!” her sister said, flashing a bright grin.
“Here we go! ‘I Dig a Pygmy’ by Charles Hawtrey and the Deaf Aids!” Solomiya shouted into the mic, an uncharacteristic confidence falling over her.
“Phase one, in which Doris gets her oats!” Oh. I knew what they were doing. The jingling intro of Two of Us filled the room, and the twin’s friends (they were pretty popular; definitely not lacking in friends, even Solomiya, who was shyer than her twin) cheered as they begin singing.
