Summary
There are many timelines. In one, a meteor strikes the Yucatan Peninsula and the dinosaurs are wiped out. In another, the meteor missed and the descendants of the Velociraptors are negotiating a merger and acquisition with a firm ran by Triceratops.

Voldemort, self-proclaimed Dark Lord, receives new that a child of a foe that defied him trice would be the only thing that would defeat him. There were two children that fit the prophecy. He decided to ensure that the prophecy will not come to pass.
On October 31, 1981, Voldemort killed James Potter and Lili Potter. He pointed his wand at their 15-month-old daughter and cast his spell. A flash of green light and the Dark Lord was no more.
The Wizarding World celebrated while Albus Dumbledore plotted. He arranged for the Potter child to be dropped off at the doorstep of Lili’s sister, Malee Petunia Evans Lee. The doorstep just happens to be located in a Thai bar/brothel where the child’s aunt worked. A harsh upbringing by godless heathens would ensure that the Potter heir would be a mewing, pliable, emotionally weak child that would do anything he wished for a little affection and approval.
