Description:

A four-book series where the main crime is always the same: falling in love with the wrong person. (The rest of the crimes — robbery, prison break, artistic murder, premeditated arson of a shop... those are just minor details.)

Have you ever felt like love was illegal?

Here's what you'll find:

💔 Seven characters who never asked for this. (It's always them. Sigma, Nikolai, Fyodor, Dazai, Chuuya, Atsushi, Akutagawa. Different lives, different bodies, different crimes. But always them.)

🔪 Three fugitives occupying your sofa and emptying your fridge while they decide whether to kill each other or order pizza.

🕵️ A detective who solves perfect murders but can't solve what he feels when he looks at the murderer.

👮 Three cops who swore to protect and serve... until the criminals served them a dose of reality (and feelings) that wasn't in the manual.

💌 Two idiots raising a kid without having a clue what they're doing, while learning that love is also folding the other person's laundry and putting up with their arguments about paintings.

Four books. Four different crimes. One verdict:

The heart is always found guilty.

Notes:

You can read this series in whatever order you damn well please. Yeah, just like it sounds. Each book has its own ending, its own crime, its own romantic disaster. There's no eternal cliffhanger, no "to be continued..." that makes you want to throw the book out the window.

Want to start with the third one because the blurb winked at you? Go ahead. Prefer the second one because someone told you about it? Cool. Read them in chronological order like a mentally stable person? That's valid too.

These are four stories that stand on their own, like drunk little kittens, but together they form something bigger. If you read them all, you'll find connections, little nods, and moments of "AH, SO THAT'S WHY THAT THING!" that will make you happy. If you only read one, you'll still enjoy it and get a neatly wrapped-up ending.

So zero stress, my little creatures. Read however you like. I'm not here to give you rules.

Well, okay. One rule: enjoy yourselves.
