Summary
Kirsh basically becomes a house husband. Kind of a funny, absurd story idea that popped in my head. The story itself isn't a comedy, but just the notion was comical to me as a starting point. I'm still hooked on Kirsh and I feel that he needs more fanfic!
Set in the future after the events of Alien Earth.
You're an independent woman but you're looking for a house synth to help you out at home. House synths have become pretty standard now but you're on a budget, so you have to shop in the salvage area. You find a bargain on a fixer upper, a damaged outdated synth with a broken back...
Background music recommendation: Neon Trees, especially the songs "Close to You," "Trust," "Lessons in Love," and pretty much the whole "Picture Show" album. Also adding a song I love from the Repo Men movie soundtrack, "Sing It Back" by Moloko.

Summary
This is a sequel to my Kirsh fanfic "Domestic Experiment." The first story took place on planet Earth, now this moves Kirsh and you into space and onto a new planet.
In the first story Kirsh was an outdated synth refurbished to serve as your house synth. Now after persuading you to leave Earth to escape the civil unrest of a synth uprising, you must adjust to Kirsh being the provider working as a scientist, while you try to find your place in your unfamiliar surroundings.
I'm also bringing in other synth characters to the mix, David (at the request of a loyal reader) and Smyth from Predator Badlands (Fun fact: The actor Cameron Brown who plays Smyth and all the drone synths, also played the xenomorph in Alien Earth).
Music recommendation "Wrapped Around Your Finger" by The Police, "All She Wants Is" by Duran Duran and Madonna's whole "Bedtime Stories" album, especially the songs "Bedtime Story," "Sanctuary," "Secret," and "Forbidden Love."
