Summary
Now everyone over the age of three knew that everyone had a soulmate. Whether romantic or platonic, they were destined to meet. Their soulmark was their soulmate's cutie mark, appearing when they got theirs. Although while the cutie mark was on both the elbows, the soulmark was on the left, sometimes right, hand.
Now for Applejack both her cutie mark and soulmark were simple. Her cutie mark was a trio of identical red apples with a green leaf on the brown stem. While her soulmark was a bright red lightning bolt that almost looked like a gem.

Soulmates au where soulmates are just someone you're destined to meet, not necessarily someone who'll be important in your life and the mane 6 are paired up with each other. Except them being the elements of harmony got in the way and now they all have their soulmates element instead of cutie mark on their hand.
