This is an anthology.
A collection of short oneshots that are all set in the same universe as my main fic, Coming Around Again, which is a Male Farmer/Alex slowburn. Some of the oneshots in this anthology expand on other characters or relationships and can also serve as standalone oneshots, and others are direct connections to specific chapters in my main fic but from a supporting character's perspective. Chapters are labeled with the principle characters or ships and rating, and tags will be updated as needed.

Summary
It had always been his dream to eventually return to Pelican Town after spending his summers there as a child, but when Mallory inherits his grandparents' old farm he is surprised by just how much the town— and more importantly the people in it— have changed. Alex had been his best friend once, but now he was seemingly too busy and too cool for his old friend. Mallory threw away the life he had been building in order to come back home, but nothing is as he remembered it to be. His heart aches for the fleeting happiness of his past, and to forge a new future for himself— with any luck, a future that includes Alex by his side.

“I’m actually saving up so I can move back to the city,” Sebastian said softly. Haley had never heard him talk this much. “I want to buy back my dad's store and keep running it. For him.”
Yoba, that was so sweet. And sad. And super dorky.
“I’m trying to get out of here, too,” Haley said. “But rent in Zuzu is so Yoba-damn expensive.”
Sebastian slid out from under his motorcycle. “Any particular reason why you want to leave?” he asked.
Haley shrugged. “Not really. Just, you know….”

Summary
Alex has everything he's ever wanted. Happily married to the woman of his dreams, a baby daughter, and backup quarterback for the Zuzu City Tunnellers, he'd be the first to admit how lucky he is. Sometimes, when we're on a roll, we push our luck. Just how much will Alex gamble, and how much is he prepared to lose.
Can probably be read without reading the others, the final work in the series, this story covers life five years post-marriage for the couple, as well as some end-game mechanics and events as well as a look at things away from the farm and town. Some tags to be added as we go, but the important ones are there. I will also give a heads up for anything triggering.
This is going to get a bit dark. I am not sorry.
