Snoke is dead. But the First Order still won. Under Kylo Ren's ruling, they succeeded on taking down the Resistance's Base and many lives were either lost or ended up captured to work for the Supreme Leader, with only a handful able to escape either fate.
Ever since she rejected his offer, all Ben could think about is her and his main focus is to find, and bring her back to him. He knew that the Force brought them together, to bring order and peace to the galaxy. For them to rise above their tragic childhood, and find where they belong... Rey, suffering from the many losses the Resistance lost, stressed of being viewed as a tool and feeling responsible that everything is crashing down, is on the verge of a breakdown. Feeling out of place, lost and feeling unwanted by most of the Resistance, she decided to follow Luke's example and exile herself on Ahch-To... Only, she plans to follow, immediately, with the plan Luke had stalled for many years... What she failed to do, back on Jakku... To die.
